If it's still too loud with the volume adjusted in Alertbox, you may need to adjust the actual volume of the sound file in something like Audacity or Garage band. Lots of free programs out there, no need to splurge on Ableton or Logic for this xD

Delete your current browser source with the link to your Overlay
goto "My Overlays" on the SE website
click the three dots in the bottom left corner
select Copy URL
create a new browser source, Set resolution to your stream's res (1920x1080 if default)
paste the url
make sure the browser source is set to the top so nothing blocks it

Absolutely do not want to waste anyone's time. I loaded OBS 27.1.3 for Streamelements (For Twitch) and utilized overlay theme called DEAD BY DAYLIGHT. I have everything setup and all my alerts are working, and I do understand many parts of the software. QUESTION: Don't laugh too hard... In the main scene they have Text and Images for social media links. I do not see a place where I can put my URL's in so each social link goes to my social page/s. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it very much. Tough to be able to do most things except the social link thing is embarrassing LOL. Thank you for your time. Clickable URL's on your live video feed is not an option for twitch. For youtube, yes. If you want clickable links, you will need a panel displayed below your live video. or twitch has an option to add links in your description.

I'm not sure if this is the right channel for it, but I have a slight issue. My "recent tips" data on any of my overlays updates accordingly, but my "top tip" data has been empty for the longest of time. Even if I go to the streamelements website and manually check, the top tip is there. It's just for some reason the overlays won't show that information. Any help is greatly appreciated!

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Hi, I started using streamelements and have been loving it, but a new issues started happening. When i first start up the pc my commands through streamelements don't work and nothing i do seems to fix it, it seems to fix itself after restarting my pc and obs multiple times but its becoming increasingly frustrating. I've tried having the bot part my channel and muting then having it return and unmuting once again but that doesn't seem to really change anything. I've also waited for a long time and that didn't do anything. My overlay works fine and even responds to commands used in chat, the issue is the bots response coming up in chat.

I've been using XSplit VCam to stream video from my phone into Streamlabs OBS. Yesterday, SLOBS stopped capturing video from this source. Everything as far as the video setup works (connection from phone to computer is good, XSplit app shows video). Nothing was changed or installed since the previous time I used SLOBS and the computer hadn't even been restarted. I have since restarted and am still having the same issue. They aren't really a language, it's mostly variable substitution. https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/command-variables has a list of all the available options/variables. | is "or", ${} means it's a variable, . is for subelements of a variable.

So I've been working at this for a while but struggling to get the results I'm looking for. I am trying to cycle/rotate between events such as follows/subs/cheers, etc. While widgets do exist for that which I've been toying with, I want each event to also cycle to a respective image behind it. Having a different image behind the follower event, different image being followers, etc. You could interpret that as being similar to rotating between an equivalent of still/regular overlay event boxes. I did attempt to manually combine a text/event rotating widget with the default image gallery/slideshow system, though have struggled to get them to be synced up consistently.

Hello! I'm sorry to bother, but I am a long-time moderator for multiple partnered streamers. One of them (Ninja614) and I, are trying to figure out why I am unable to access the streamelements dashboard for him. He has set me as SuperModerator (100% confirmed, he showed it on stream) and I am a moderator in another channel, and I have no problem modearting his streamelements bot (I click my icon at the top right, it says Lalayla - Owner, then I click the arrow pointing to the right, and it shows the other channel in the drop down). I am not a new user, or computer illiterate. I would appreciate any assistance on why I am unable to moderate his bot as a Super Moderator. (Yes, I've cleared my cache. Yes, I've logged in and out. Yes, I've restarted my computer. )

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

For context, she is hosting a giveaway by giving away tickets for her viewers so that they can enter the raffle. With this in mind, these are her concerns:

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

I have asked for help previously where i got a possible solution to fix my sisters problem but it havent worked, so i will now try again to ask for help :)

The problem is that my sister's chat bot aka the streamelements chat bot dont want to work at all, none of her commands will tricker when typed in chat, and her chat bot isnt even present in the chat in any way, i have tried to part the bot from the channe land then have it join the channe lagain but with no luck.

so i hope that there is some other fixes i can try to solve this issue.

Timers should work fine. If they arent posting its because of the way that you have them set up. i.e. you chat isnt active enough to meet the requirements in the set amount of time, chat lines. Maybe try lowering the chat lines? Also check this#helpdesk-twitch message

You have to log out every time unless you use the stream key instead of logging in. You'll lose some of the automatic docks though if you do this.

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. You have to remember that your computer then has to download the alert (all 30Mb of it) before it plays, which can cause performance issues and delays in your alerts

You’d be better off dedicating a local file source and playing a local video when an event like that happens, and have it shut off when it finishes. Then you can just trigger it when it needs to be activated

@lament blade if it is the gamble stuff you're referring to, in the streamelements dashboard hit the lines top left go to modules and make sure Roulette is on and the setting in it are OK. I think if you look in chat commands too and turn on !module this will enable you to turn on and off other modules (I believe) so when it's on, in chat you could try !module Roulette enable

You can log into the dashboard and switch to theirs to make the adjustment. Otherwise, you could mute the bot, but that would mute it for everything.
