The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

I still need help with the hype cup. I'd like to only use Streamelements instead of Streamlabs, but it just isn't working. This is what's happening- only the cheer1 loads a custom image. The cheer100 loads a broken image, and all other values load default Twitch emotes, even though Streamelements says it's replaced them.

You can add, remove and make changes to custom commands in chat with !command/!cmd flags:

Trying to create a custom alert box and under the settings I see subscriber alert, member alert, superchat alert, tip alert, and purchase alert.
I do not see anything for followers and bits. I figured bits would be under tips but it doesn't seem to be. I realized that I can change the member alert into a follower alert so that's not a big deal but I don't know how to set up an alert if someone cheers bits. YouTube tutorials I am watching for StreamElements seem to have those options. On the videos the people have cheer and followers as options and they seem to have been removed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can I get some help with a really simple command?

It's not printing properly when used in chat, but it's under the character limit, so I assume there's an illegal character or something. However, I couldn't find a list of like... things to avoid putting in a command. Trying to make this print for a Genshin Streamer I mod for:

With C0/C1 Eula, 2 and 2 is much more consistent. For 4pc PaleFlame, you need to have 2 stacks and will lose the buffs when you hold your E. Once you hold E, you have 10s CD on her skill and you need to apply damage from skill every 7s to keep the PaleFlame buffs. There's a 3s difference which makes it inconsistent and C2 decreases the CD on her skill which is why you can get the PaleFlame bonus all the time and why it's not recommended for below C2

Is it just the / between C0/C1 causing it?

I've verified the command is on. Userlevel is everyone. CD is short for global and user. That it's set for Both online and offline, has 0 costs and responds in Say mode.

To double verify, I copied the exact response into a working command and it breaks that working command.

I've got the same issue with a user being unable to spend points, some have mentioned.

She has like 5000 points, item costs like 400, but when she redeems it says she doesn't have enough points.

I dug up fixes and tried to do the same (the logout URL fix).
That didn't work.

They did recently change their name but they suspect that's not the issue because they were able to use points for days after doing so. Myself, I'm guessing it might have something to do with it still.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

hi for some time my viewers have been unable to redeem sound effects from the stream elements leader board. when they use the command !points it shows they have many points but when they try to redeem a sound effect the leader board says they have no points and my channel icon shows 0 for them. they have all logged into their stream elements accounts and i have reset channel points and uninstalled and reinstalled the leader board and its still not working. recently a few or your staff members were able to redeem a sound effect with no issue but it is not working for my long time viewers or any new viewers. any advice is appreciated thank you.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

In the editor you can select the layers/widgets that you do not need and delete them, either with the delete button or the delete button in the editor. So you can adjust the existing overlays to your needs.

When you select something on the left panel, it will be blue on the overlay side. Just hit delete and then it will be gone. In case you delete the wrong thing, you can press CTRL + Z to undo the action, or click on the Undo button

Unless you have a backup of that overlay, you cannot recover it once you delete it. However if you didn't delete and just changed some configuration, you can add it again clicking on the + button (unless it was a custom overlay).
But there is no backup to restore.

Hello, I've been having some issues with TTS. It used to read all messages without any issues, but for the last week or two it's not announcing some cheers. For instance when I test on OBS "Howdy my name is Bill" is okay but "LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL" or long sentences don't work. I've made sure that the tts setting is enabled.

Go to Tipping Settings on left panel > Tipping settings tab > Tipping Moderation and check if the option "Enable TTS Anti Spam" is checked. If so, uncheck it and test it again

It's ok I've managed to set up my custom bot without Stream elements live. I just added a custom browser dock in OBS, went to Streamelemets website, activity, popout, grabbed the URL and pasted it in OBS custom docks and was able to activate the custom bot that way.

Hello! Hoping someone can help me connect my custom bot to my channel. Every time I click on the button in OBS.live, I go through the login stuff and authorize but then nothing changes. Connect button still there, test button still greyed out, custom name not in dropdown menu.

Hello, so this still seems to be an issue that i tried just looking up for a fix but i’m not sure how to go about it. Whenever I try to set up a command that uses $(random.pick), the bot only responds with one word instead of the full phrases/sentences that I typed.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hello! I am having trouble streaming to twitch. I originally streamed to youtube but since then I have switched the output to twitch by putting in my twitch stream key and connecting my twitch account. • All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer

Change output mode from simple to advanced, set your bitrate at 4500, disable psycho visual tuning

i fixed it and testing stream seen to be working. not sure why bitrate changed causing stream issues. i never touched the settings

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).
