Anybody have any idea how to fix this? As well as the other issues like the icons falling and missing the cup completely? I'm using this cup as an example. But the cup image rotates, sometimes the image doesn't even load and just the loading spinning circle appears. The icons drop to the far left of the cup no matter what cup wireframe I use.

When you add a new browser source there will be an area for the resolution. You want that to match the overlay.

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

so I'm trying to raise money for a charity through tiltify and I'm currently trying to set up an alert overlay for it. The problem I am running into is that on the drop box to select the campaign it gives me no options even though I have already connected my accounts and the charity is live and public now.

Edit: If this is the problem then you can ignore this comment but I just noticed on the tiltify website for the campaign im on it says team overlays are not available to team members at this time and to contact the team owner. Unless someone tells me otherwise I'm going to assume thats why I'm having this issue

Hi! I use a lot of labels in stream element, showing latest twitch follower, latest cheer, latest raid/host and so on. Since a while two labels that show the "top gifters list" don't show anything (although the text that should be shown is still in the settings). Adding new "top gifters list" in this or other overlays didn't show any result so far. All other labels still work, though. Anyone any idea what could be wrong?

I know the way Host alerts has been changed recently, but are there any plans to allow non-streamer's hosts to trigger the Host alert? I have a fair number of viewers that like to host my stream and it is nice to acknowledge that. Even if it doesn't pop the alert, having it show up in my activity feed would still be nice. Thanks!

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

  • All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
  • Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

You would need to add your account via the dashboard account settings and then switch accounts in the dashboard and then copy the url for the overlay of the account you’re in and add it as a browser source. Best recommendation is to create a profile for twitch and a profile for YouTube in obs and the create scene collections for each as well

How to separate Media Request (MR) audio in OBS:

MUTE MR FOR YOURSELF, STREAM CAN HEAR

  1. Make a new overlay in the editor, ONLY add the Media Request widget.
  2. Add a new browser source in OBS, add the URL and set the dimensions correctly.
  3. Tick the box for Control audio via OBS
  4. Go to Edit > Advanced Audio, set your MR overlay to Monitor Off. Note: This will play through the Desktop Audio, if you mute your desktop audio, it will mute the MR.

CONTROL AUDIO SEPARATELY FROM YOU AND STREAM

  1. For this you will need a VAC (use command !vac).
  2. Run your MR either in Chrome or in Ground Control (use command !gc). Note: Do NOT click on SHOW ON STREAM.
  3. Set Chrome or GC in the VAC as an audio input and output.
  4. Add the audio output from VAC as an audio input in OBS. Note: This will not be able to show the video in OBS.

I have a setup where Streamlabs chatbot interfaces with Discord to alert people on Discord when I go live. Does StreamElements have a similar thing? If so, I'll have no problem setting it up, I just don't know where to look for it.

The animation text color cannot be changed in the settings, you will need to change the animation itself. The only text that you will be able to change is the text you input in the "Alert message" field, which in your case is the name of the follower/subscriber

In this case, yes. As that text is part of the animation/video itself it cannot be changed without changing the video used.

In this case, I would recommend logging out of StreamElements, clear your browser cache and cookies, then re-log and see if the changes you make apply.

Im trying to add socials to my overlays, ive gone into the overlay on streamelements itself and updated the boxes and hit save but it hasnt switched over to OBS

Text not showing up over your alerts? Go to the Advanced Text Settings and set the top margin to 50, you can work your way to the right position from there.

There's a transparent preview of the text at the top of the screen. When I emulate, the alert shows with the text above the animation. When I return it to -50, the transparent preview is gone, and when I emulate, the alert shows with no text.

Oof nevermind, I see the issue! The -50 was in the "Top" field for some reason 😅 . A positive value fixes the issue.

  • All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
  • Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

You can reset the numbers by going to the activity feed and resetting the totals/session data

To reset goals:

  • from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
  • from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.
