StreamElements tells me that I have to download the game with my personal link and sign up with my Twitch account (in order to recognize my in-game purchases to track the goal progress), but when I click on the link StreamElements gives me, I don't have a button to create an account with Twitch, just the possibility to choose a nickname and an email address.

This is normal, as long as the link is used, it will work. You can then connect your Twitch account after the registration.

However, when I do an internet test, I come out at 150 mbit/s upload. In games, for example, I have no restrictions. However, my stream loads and buffers all the time. Internet test does not give you a full picture, only a single connection to a server is tested

Not sure about "only" to Twitch. The test shows you that the bandwith to those specific servers is bad - all over the place.

So the solution is to call your ISP and provide him that information

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

That happens because on Twitch when you raid someone you also host their channel, so you get both notifications due to how Twitch handles that data in the API

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

I used both.
Started off with StreamLabs as it's easier (I think) to set up when starting (everything seems to be more integrated and more straight-forward to me).
However there are a few things that are very important (in my very personal opinion) that are way better on StreamElements, which made me do the switch a few weeks ago:

• The overlay editor is awesome, you can get a better looking stream with StreamElements
• More control over alert variations
• A better stream boss (boss does not damage themselves when gifting subs, as a stupid example)
• The points/gambling system is more fun (had someone lose 800 Million in one single go)
• More control on commands (better ways of selecting who can run a command)
• it DOES recognize VIPs on Twitch, so you can allow VIPs to have special command privileges (you need to manually add "regulars" on StreamLabs, which caused me major headaches)

Disclaimer: I only stream on Twitch and not Youtube, so can't speak about that side, but for Twitch, after using both SL and SE, I would strongly recommend SE.
(and I don't work for them, so not biased in that way)

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Also, for startups like StreamElements, priorities change from day to day. Let's assume that it has been worked on in the past, as soon as something big and more important happens like Facebook or YouTube integration, things like a queue get a lower priority, sometimes as low as setting the development for that feature on hold.

This is the exact reason why we/staff really doesn't like to set ETAs or give info about something that's probably not ready to be released in the near future.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.

3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again
