Hello, i have an issue with !watchtime command. Everytime when someone is using it, it says that he watched my stream for 0 seconds. I fixed it when i turned on loyalty points in loyalty points tab, but it didn't fix it fully. Now everytime when someone activates the command it says that he is watching for 10 minutes and its not counting more.

@noble shuttle The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

@left grove If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@spice helm If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

Looks like a bug with switching to tabs that don't have data, so as long as the selection does have data it should load properly.

@ivory kettle If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live
2. Exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
3. Delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
4. Start OBS.Live
5. Settings > Stream > Disconnect > Connect

i was thinking that i regex "." so it checks every message and then in the message it see's if the ${user.name} === "polar_baron" and if it does it says "polar just chatted!" but if the username is anything else, it just doesn't say anything?

is it normal for video files added to CHeer Alert to not display and play on stream properly? I set a short video clip to play for 200 bits on stream, it shows on the Dashboard preview when I play the bit alert, but it wont actually display on stream when live. It'll show the cheer message but no video that goes with it.

Hi! I've been trying to figure this one out for a long time but still couldn't. Chatstats won't work on the OBS Elements site. It just says 404 - Page Not Found with the Kappa face wearing a crown

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

I'm having trouble allowing viewers to add quotes. Only mods seem able to add quotes while I want that ability open to everyone. The only !quote command I see on my dashboard to edit is the one that brings up random quotes, not to add them.
Am I looking in the wrong place or is that not something that's possible.

@restive sundial If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hey..so...I created a whole blank overlay and put just an alert box there with all my alerts and just added it as an additional browser source in OBS. For some reason, the alerts don't always play in OBS live when I emulate them (I have the "play them live" box checked in streamelements), and I have to refresh the browser source (sometimes multiple times) for it to work again. Then it'll work for a couple of alerts before it just stops working and I have to refresh it again. The same thing happens when alerts are triggered when I'm actually life. Any idea how to fix?

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

@near mirage If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Description: When removing a cooldown from a Store Item, the original cooldown timer remains until it expires.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a new Store item (Sound Alert) with a Global Cooldown of 600 seconds.
2. Create a custom command to redeem this (e.g. (${redeem storeItemName})
3. Run said command in Twitch chat
4. ASSERT: Item is redeemed successfully.
5. Edit the store item, removing the cooldown entirely (Set to 0)
6. Return to chat and try redeeming again
7. ASSERT: Bot returns "@TwitchUsername, This item is on cooldown"
8. EXPECT: Item redeemed and played.
9. Wait till original cooldown expires
10. Redeem again
11. ASSERT: Item now redeems and will redeem again immediately with no cooldown as expected.

This will fill up once people use the chat.

Looks like it is by design, the old settings from the item remain active until the cooldown is over. Probably to prevent spam and double purchases. Some streamers use the store to give out real world prizes, so it is good as it is.

Cool - Just wanted to make sure seeing as I'm explicitly turning it off to allow immediate re-redemption, and can't. As the broadcaster, I can't override this for myself and re-redeem if I wanted for testing. Now waiting for cooldown before I can test again and make some layout changes to overlay lol

Is there a way to set a condition for specific commands? For example counter command has to count only when the given condition had met.
I made a death counter that connected to my widget, and set a show-hide command-pair that are using another counter which controls the widget's visibility. (true [1] / false [0])
The death counter command only triggering the widget counter if the widget is visible, but the counter is still counting.

I’m having a long on-going issue with my custom SE alerts.
The animation will play live on stream, but no audio.
The audio will play in the alert editor, and will play in obs if I send an emulation. However, no audio will play for live alerts.

I have my alerts set to monitor and output in advanced audio properties through OBS, and I have tried changing the browser source hardware acceleration in advanced settings.

I thought I had fixed it the other day, but still no luck 😔

• Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member
