@lament blade The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Try this: If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

I can't seem to stop a username from showing up in my top tips?
I had a £1000 tip, that was imported by a moderator as a joke. Now I've tried resetting session, deleting the imported tip, blocking the tipper and checking every available tab on streamelements although the only place it shows up now is in "Aggregates" on the widget data section but the box is greyed out and I can't clear it or change it to the actual top tipper.

I would love to know a workaround as it is current taking the spot for a genuine top tipper, so I would like to get it sorted asap.

10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Hey! This is a super long shot but I honestly don't know where else to turn. I'm one of Byron (Reckful)s moderators and even after his passing there is still a massive community who hangs out while watching his reruns on his Twitch channel. Unfortunately he only had two channel editors (the only ones with the permissions to start/stop VODs) and they are barely active anymore. We have gotten permission from his family to give more of the active moderators the channel editing-permissions but we still need Twitch Staff to make that happen and I don't know who to contact. @steady smelt Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

@fresh hinge If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I've tried searching online for a while now tonight, and I can't seem to find a single answer telling me how to make a command mod only, but in-line. As in, having the mod create a command in my chat and adding a user level to that command so only the mods can use it. I know I have to add the user level 1000 somewhere in there probably, but I don't know where in the command. @upbeat scarab Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Go to the Dashboard > Right side > Part channel > Join channel(https://streamelements.com/dashboard)

@tight steeple The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Hey guys i tried to contact Twitch about my problem but didnt get an answer. So this is my problem: in the last few days I have always had problems when i try to start my stream. In OBS everything works fine and normally, but the stream is not showing up on Twitch.As soon as the stream is "normally" online after several attempts, it simply crashes again and no good connection can be established (internet connection and bitrate tested several times) I've gone through various ways to fix it and it doesnt seem to be my end.

After the test completes, click the Share Result button to upload a screenshot, which can then be copied and pasted here.

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@fresh hinge If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

So that is irrelevant for new subs

@hoary chasm So the issue here is that, for some reason, the alert widget is bugged and the only way to fix it is by removing it and adding a fresh new one.

I assume the current one is imported from somewhere, because the secondary text option in the new subscriber event is bugged and I can't set its color or font size and have it being saved for some reason.

But as I mentioned before, new subscribers don't get a sub message/text option at all, so that option is irrelevant more or less.

Hello guys, I have a question, I set up an alert and chat box overlay and if I have my stream view disabled then and the view for the alert box and chat box enabled then I can see the chat and alerts, however, when I am streaming and playing, the chat box doesn't prioritize over the desktop. 1st) correct. The chat overlay is just for people watching the stream and for you in OBS. (When you switch to gameplay you won't see chat over your game) You'd need a program to do that in Windows or a popular option is a 2nd device, like tablet or phone in chat.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Hello, all of a sudden this week my sound alerts for my twitch streaming alerts have quit working. Afaik, remote play relies on the actual PS4 controller to be used, not the mobile device.
Also this is the first time i hear that a mobile phone can be used as a controller

that being said, we cannot troubleshoot this as its not part of our tools and we are def. not familiar with remote play

Hey @zenith widget I figured out what it is, infact you do not download it on your mobile device you must install it on your pc

So for mac you must use https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/lang/en/ps4_mac.html to download it and you need two accounts

You need your main account and your alt account to stream on

I have copied the link for the main overlay and pasted it into Lightstream

However the dimensions are not wide or high enough

No, that is a Youtube thing that is preventing embeds from playing restricted videos. No way around it unfortunately.

We don't have TTS for the bot.

TTS is only available for Alerts and redemptions

Hello, i am trying to stream to Twitch to streaming from YouTube, i have changed my stream information over but when i click Start Streaming OBS Live tries to stream to YouTube still! I have disconnected all services to my YT and even reinstalled OBS but it still happens... any ideas?

@soft raptor I found the issue. Your sound that you've placed on your widget is actually 25 seconds long, with the ping sound happening at the start with 24 seconds of silence.
