My twitch chat will randomly not be able to hear the desktop audio even though my obs shows that they should . I've been fixing by disabling desktop audio 1 and enabling desktop audio 2 and then vise versa when it cuts out again. Looking for permanent fix 🙂 thanks

I am usinga steinberg line II as audio input and output. After using Desktop Audio at the same time as the microphone input, every sound will be repeated several times in the twitch stream. (echo effect)

Hi, I only recently started using SE and I love it! But for some reason, I cannot get my recent/latest followers to show up on stream. I've tried logging out and back in as well as clearing my cache, and re-adding the alert in it's own box, but the alert still isnt popping up when someone follows. It works when I test it as well. As far as I know, all my other alerts are fine. I got raided the other day and it worked perfectly on stream.

Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

don't know if i will get help here, but i did try the SE support webpage and the dude on there was so useless and my thing is not really help with twitch (even though i use twitch), but here goes
i am running the AMD Radeon streaming software, i went with the Animated Blue Metropolis pack, it was working fine untill i upgraded to a 1440p monitor, i have tried a few things and nothing works!
the only overlay i have tried to fix so far is my brb overlay, but it remains at 1080p and there are bars on the right and bottom of the screen that you can see what i am doing in the background!
things i have tried

in overlay dashboard, click the 3 dots on the overlay and choose properties and change to 1440p = no change to the issue
inside overlay, selecting all the elements and trying to resize all at once to 1440p (which i had to leave the canvas at 1440p from 1st thing i tried) = didn't work, can only adjust one element at a time
in AMD radeon software
using it without changing anything = see through bars
using it with 1440p canvas size = see through bars
changing radeon's settings to think it is a 1080p scene instead of 1440p = see through bars
resizing browser source to either 1080p or 1440p = see though bars

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

When you join with an account the first time a name connects it gets the particular streamelements.com/username link. Anyone after that becomes streamelements.com/username-1234.

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.

@modest pollen The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Question for anyone who thinks they know what I’m talking about, so I host Pokémon go raids on my streams. Is there a way through stream elements to make a que system to where people can join a que and then I can somehow see the que when I need to select people for the raids in order in which they have qued up

The overlays won't work with mobile i'm pretty sure. I'm not familiar with the mobile app or setup so best to ask in #helpdesk-mobile unless someone else can answer here

Ya. ... on the PC that centers the widget on the overlay; but then the position of that whole thing is adjusted in the capture software. So even if you have it all the way left you can move it right
