@orchid geyser Make sure that the widget is listed as a browser source on your OBS and you should be able to control everything with regards to the media request widget through the SE website in your dashboard. Any video/media that plays there should show up in your OBS.

Website first.
My Overlays > Create Blank Overlay > Add Widget> Engagement > Media Request

Once that's done, save the overlay and copy and paste the overlay URL onto a browser source into your OBS.

You can now control the media request widget through your dashboard on the website 🙂

Question: Is there a reason that command timeouts are different for mods than they are for normal users? I have an auto shout-out command for "regulars" and a 15000 timeout on it. The timeout works for regulars but mods get the auto shout again after only an hour. Another person with the same command setup noticed this behavior as well. Is that by design or a weird glitch we've discovered?

I'm having ana issue with my follower goal. The size I had on StreamLabs for it was 1152x256, but in the actual scene, I sized it down so it can fit. If I try to do that here in SE, it changes the width and height of it; and worse, it's not centered

Hi there, i have the problem that my streamelements bot does not want to respond to commands. Yesterday i removed moobot from my channel, cleared my cache, relogged twitch and streamelements site, made him leave my twitch channel en rejoin and somehow i manage to get him responding again. Today nothing. (Moobot wasn't in channel anymore and the rest i tried)

That's a known issue due to using monitors with mismatched refresh rates.

It's not anything that can be fixed.

Hello! My message got drowned out and unanswered by others so I'm reposting it to make it relevant!

I was in the StreamElements Leaderboards extension and I changed these settings and now my Chat Stats Top Chatters and Top Emotes aren't loading anymore and I get a 404 page not found error on my Chat Stats; I have not changed my Twitch name.

I have no idea what's happened :/

@buoyant agate If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

When you're editing stuff for overlays it only works for the one you're logged into/roleplaying for. To make changes for another platform you have to switch to that one.

@grave glacier Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

@cedar forge Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

@limpid sigil The OBS.Live plugin doesn't do anything to video capture devices. But in OBS Studio in general, holding shift allows you to resize a source without maintaining aspect ratio.

Hi, I have some trouble with "Activity feed". I'm streaming for another channel on twitch but I can't change the activity feed which is coming from the "MaxiiiMaxiii" account. Moreover, when I click on StreamElement -> Edit Widget Data, I'm connected to the "MaxiiiMaxiii" account and I can't change it.
How can I have the Activity feed from another channel (I'm an administrator for both channel).

Hi! I've run into a problem with my stream's tipping system, wherein when someone sends a tip I do not get an alert on the tip. I'm not sure how to fix this, since as far as I can tell, Tip Moderation is off and it should be going through.

@sinful flax if a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

@plucky salmon That is not supposed to provide alerts but is an unfortunately known issue.

The only way to "fix" it would either have a censored name appear each time or nothing appear for any kind of alert they trigger.

Question: Is there a reason that command timeouts are different for mods than they are for normal users? I have an auto shout-out command for "regulars" and a 15000 timeout on it. The timeout works for regulars but mods get the auto shout again after only an hour. Another person with the same command setup noticed this behavior as well. Is that by design or a weird glitch we've discovered?
Any thoughts on this anyone? Not looking for a fix necessarily, just trying to establish expectations.

I have a question about making a Shout out command for shouting out people who raid or host the stream. So the way it is currently set up for the stream I mod is where if you @ someone it then puts the @ sign in the twitch link to their channel making the link not work. To get the link to work you currently have to manually type out the person's entire twitch name and hopefully not misspell it. I was wondering if there was a way to make it so you can @ someone in the command without it @ ing them in the link. Any help would be appreciated

For Prime Gaming, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

Hey 👋 Hoping someone can help me here.
So there is this default command on streamelements: !emotes ffz/bttv/update
I used search and found a message from @clever mango which showed that the latter are different arguments for the command.
Anyway long story short i have installed The FrankerFaceZ Add-On Pack from their site and can see the emotes on Twitch.
However, while !emotes update appears to work, neither !emotes ffz / !emotes bttv seems to do anything, what am i missing?

See every streamer got diffrent BTTV emotes the reason is: The Emote-Slots are limeted, so some streamers have like 25 slots others 120 slots and so on, it depends on the channel. So the streamer or mod selects witch FFZ emotes he likes and fills his emote slots with it - what they do is they go on https://betterttv.com/emotes/shared and klick on emotes that they like than they click on add to my channel - same for ffz https://www.frankerfacez.com/emoticons/

Emotes from other users you can add to your chat on BetterTTV.

you can use a secondary set of plugsin from Reaper to get an EQ that you can put in as an effects rack

@tidal quartz The keyword is VST Plugins, these are Audio Plugins, OBS supports the VST system - For BassBoost you'll need a EQ VST plugin, with EQ you can boost the lowfreq. witch will be the bassboost effect you want - So the best thing you can do is: Search on youtube how to Bassboost with free vst, than you download the vst the guy in your video is using and you do the same settings as him

@mint crane If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I set up a couple of timers on the website but they don't seem to be taking effect in my twitch chat, I activated the streamelements bot in my twitch chat, and I set up the timers and have them enabled, and setup my overlay via the overlay editor/designer on the site, I am using the OBS.live streaming software, if there was a step I missed outside of that I would be greatly appreciative for any advise or assistance.

@past brook 10 minutes of watch time is given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled to watch time to work properly.
There is no direct link between watch time and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the number of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in the chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user do not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

It will not count any watchtime befor it joins your channel cause it does not have any data about it.
