Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member

@modest sapphire If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Iv been trying for awhile to import currency/loyality data from aunkbot/streamlabs chatbot to stream elements, I was able to successfully import commands but the currency/points continue to fail. Iv read somewhere that it may fail if the file has a header, but to my knowledge it does not have one.

@sly python The default resolution for StreamElements overlays (theme and custom) is 1920x1080. Please add them in OBS at their full resolution and use CTRL+F to fit to screen if necessary. You can then downscale your stream in OBS settings > Video if you'd like https://i.imgur.com/6bWXxjR.png

I have tried everything and the import keeps failing, in streamlabs chatbot there is no option to export as a CSV, so I had to import it to a google doc and redownload as a CSV and save that file instead, and importing that didn't even work.

@abstract hemlock Okay, so, the version I had was the most up to date version, but I uninstalled the bot (streamlabs chatbot), and reinstalled it and the option was there, but it was a new profile. Once I imported the backup I had, the option for exporting CSV was gone again. even though the version was not the same. Must be some extreme bug on the stream labs end. That said, I was able to import commands and found that followage and other loyality stuff is saved across the board expect for points, so that will be a clean slate but I don't think that will be a big issue.

Sorry for venting, but iv been troubleshooting all night.

@forest stump Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

Twitch removed all raid/host events forwarded with less than 5 viewers as far as I know due to spam with hosts used as negative self promo. So they basically put threshold higher than SE had by default.

Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

So having an issue with the boy.... Is not working. Went to stream Wednesday night, no commands worked... Tried it the next night while the stream was offline and it worked fine. Fired up the stream this morning and again nothing from the bot.

Bot is in the channel, has mod status, is unmuted, and not blocked or timed out.

I should add that this is for the Twitch account @Petite_Celine

I have decided to switch to StreamElements a couple of weeks ago and ran into a very weird problem. For some weird reason I don't get alerts when people host me. The host alert only pops up when people raid me, but I don't get the raid alert when people raid me.
I also suspect that the same goes for bits since in my activity feed it doesn't show any of the hosts/ raids as well as any bits people sent me during the last six months.

All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

@proud shale If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I don't know if this is the right place for this but I want to make a command just like the quote command that can be like "!remember to do this" and it will put it in a list of other things to remember and at the end of the stream or something, someone can say "!remember" and the whole list will show. I've tried looking up the quote command and copy and pasting it and renaming it but I couldn't do that. Can someone help me please?

@visual grove If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@lament blade There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Do webm files not work with the asset rotator/slideshow widget anymore? All of mine that used Webm files stopped working.

@river shoal if a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

Hey friends. First off, thanks for the time you put in! My alerts are only working every once in a while and I'm not sure why. I've created a browser source to the scene I'm using for my games and the alerts are at the top of the list. They very rarely work, but have worked before. When I click the resend button in my activity feed, they will play. In Steamelements OBS.Live.

Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hi, I just created a Timer for Twitch that I wanted to only play while Offline, however the Broadcaster told me that the timer sent the message 1 minute after they went Live. I had the "Online Interval" checkbox unticked. How can I prevent this from happening?

The timer wouldn't send if the box was unticked double check and make sure you unticked the right box @peak storm and see if it sends it again over the interval you had it set at if it doesn't it is fine. More than likely it could of been Twitch Servers not registering he was live yet and it sent at the interval u have it set to go when the streamer is offline.

hey guys, is something up with streamelements lately? for the past week or so, every time I stream, after a couple of hours the streamelements alerts browser source overlay has hung or become non-responsive (ie users can see floating emotes stuck on the screen), and the only way I've been able to fix it is to reload the overlay. I'm running the latest version of obs (26.0.2 or something). this has never happened before!

For the chat message, there is a variable for the sub amount and for the overlay there is a widget for your subscriber count you can add to your overlay.

from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Does anyone know how to get the Custom Chat Command responses to include our own emotes. I've typed in the text string in the response when a command is entered into chat, but what appears in chat is the text string and not the emote. Does it matter if these are my/my friend's emotes instead of global emotes like Kappa?

@echo holly If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

hey there... just added a redemption to my store (its the first time) and i cant see it in my store and am therefore wondering if anyone will. also tried typing the command and it doesn't seem to work. i've opened the store and enabled redemption in chat. i am not currently live so perhaps this is why. any thoughts greatly appreciated

@storm plinth 10 minutes of watch time is given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled to watch time to work properly.
There is no direct link between watch time and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the number of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in the chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user do not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

@desert moat We're not able to troubleshoot issues with using our overlays in StreamLabs OBS (SLOBS) as we don't have the tools to support their software. We recommend using OBS Studio or OBS Studio with our plugin OBS.Live.

hi my problem is with the host alert, when someone host my channel with one person, the alert does not come out.
I already set the alert to sound even with one person, however it doesn't work. all other alerts seem to work fine
