@harsh remnant Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. I am having an issue with Kappagen not using the emotes I have selected, and is instead using a bunch of random emotes. Is there something I am missing on this? How can I fix this?

@daring crag Cheers in kappagen use the cheermote used in the cheer. When emulating, it uses random cheermotes. In practice, if unique cheermotes are not used, then the ones you set will be used.

@keen hill Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have Overlays over your console gameplay.

@restive veldt 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

@zenith widget Why would it be an ISP problem that the leaderboard isn't loading? I just tried a few more things: Deactivate extension: worked . Reactivate extension: worked. Push the configure extension button: worked. It all loads the needed things. But when I hit the "save" button at the bottom, it just doesn't do anything. Button seems to be not working. Tried all of this in different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, ...) before and after clearing cache/cookies. If my ISP would block it, wouldn't it block all of it? For the record, my ISP is Telenet from Belgium. Do the other people who have the same problem, have the same ISP?

That time I cannot say how long it is, due to the amount of connections we can receive from Twitch for the Extension

When the connection is refused, the cookie doesn't even reach the server (or more accurately, it is sent, but not received or processed).
What happens for you is that your browser tries to connect to the server (and it may or may not be sending the cookie along), but it refuses the connection. In normal circumstances the connection would be accepted, and the cookie may or may not be processed by whatever is running on the server. You don't even get to the part where anything could be processed, because the server refuses to work with you.

Also, that cookie is a cookie for Twitch, not the extension. You will get the same cookie warning if you just open the dev tools on the Twitch main page. It is also a warning, not an error, so it is nothing critical. Cookies are also optional items, they are not required, or else deleting your cookies would result in you not being able to access anything.

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Ive tested it with Streamlabs and now Elements captured the donation and it is keeping the tested donation as the higher

Hi guys, I'm wanting to try to set up a command that when I type it "!hype" the chatbot posts a line of my emotes that can be used for subs/raids etc. However whenever I try no matter what I type it only repeats the text and not the emote. Some friends have suggested this may be because the bot isn't considered a "subscriber" but is there any way to create what I'm looking for? Thanks! If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

@valid bluff Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

Me again, I recently posted about having issues with TTS in streamelements but it recently came to my attention that none of my alerts were making sound (I have my laptop muted while playing so I never noticed) and now I’ve realised I have my desktop audio turned off as I play on console and only use the laptop for OBS, I’ve discovered my alerts are within desktop audio but I’m wondering if there’s a way to isolate so only the alert sounds are heard and not just a bunch of consistent background noise too?

3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)

4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button

Check if you added the moderator role to the bot. Command: /mod StreamElements

you can follow these steps to know the windows about the OBS.live

just a detail, if you are going to use the custom bot name as the streamer name, instead of selecting the item "Change to ..." select the item "Set custom bot name" ... according to the procedure below.

@astral otter If you changed your name on Twitch please follow these steps:
🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Weird, when looking at chat stats page it only shows me having 116 posts in channel. But if you look at my viewer card in the channel you can see I have 999+ comments in channel. Oh well, atleast it doesn't give the 404 error when visiting the chat stats page anymore.

@high escarp while the profile has a 404 error in the Statistics page, because there was a change in the profile name of the streaming platform (Twitch) or due to some other problem that occurred, so the system recorded only the statistical data before the error occurred, that is, everything that happened in the stream while it was in error it isn't registered and so it will not be shown on the Stats page after being updated.

Im attempting to set up a custom streamelements bot chat command that contains nested variables. Any time i nest the variables though, it prints out to chat instead of reading the ${} as a command

The command trying to add:
!pushupsadd
response:
${count pushupstodo +${1}} Added ${1} pushup(s) from the to-do counter!

the ${count pushupstodo +${1}} part though gets printed to chat, it doesnt modify the counter. whats wrong with that nested variable that streamelements thinks its text and not a variable? NOTE: the other ${1} works fine
