1. Go to Stream Store page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/store/items
2. Add an item that has these settings on it:

• Select > Stream Perk
• Loyalty settings to your desire
• (Next step) Add contents (image and/or sound you want to play)
• Enable > Redeeming this item shows an alert
• Enable > Allow user to add a text message to the alert
• Enable > Redeemable via website
• (Next step) Skip Requirements
• Save

3. Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
4. Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click on the Save button.
5. Test your item on the Stream Store (Public link) and have OBS or editor open to hear sound.

10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

If you changed your name on Twitch please follow these steps:

Hi i am needing to create a command that my followers can use to get in the wait list to play with me. I have created my own !joinqueue and it places people in line but it won't let me or my mod to clear the queue after each stream. I have a strange issue. I was testing bits/cheers for my HypeCup in the editor, and when I test a cheer with no emotes included in the cheer message it should use one of the normal animated bits gifs. However, this creepy, glitchy image is showing up instead. These images change and get more messed up depending on the amount. I have tried downloading the image and reuploading it. I’ve tried starting over with a blank overlay. I’ve tried fiddling with the settings and nothing seems to work. I’m completely stumped. Can someone help me out? Thanks!

• from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
  Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

Hello I have recently created an overlay in stream elements for OBS but not everything in my overlay has transferred. I got the overlay around my facecam in and the countdown clock above it but my social media links in the bottom right didn't transfer does anyone have any tips or thoughts on why this is?

Hey guys, I'm setting up redemptions to play sound effects, I've got it all working however I can't seem to stop the bot reporting that the redemption was successful or if it's still on cooldown, I have disabled the !redeem command, is there anyway I can mute the reply for just the specific sounds being triggered?

@tough galleon Our Dashboard and Overlay editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. FireFox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.

In Theory ${game ${user}} should work since in "normal" messages I can pass a name (or argument variable ${1}) to ${game} to show that user's game... but in the raid announcement, it just shows my game, i.e. it ignores the argument passed to it... and yes, ${user} does have the correct value since it does show the raider's name when used on its own in text

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

so uhm... there is probably no real solution for this, but maybe someone has a tip or two. I'm pretty new with the streaming thing so I don't get a lot of viewers yet. But I have the Loyalty points set up on SE. The problem is that there's some bots hanging around in my chat basically all the time, and it's not always the same bots. The "issue" now is that these bots are filling up my loyalte point leader boards and actual viewers are way down the list. I'm already going through the leaderboard manually every now and then to check for new ones, but is there a way to make this easier :/
The way I know (or am at least fairly certain) they are bots because a) I don't get actual views even when they're in the channel and b) they all recommend the same (and only one) other channel that is just showing twitch stats...

Well first of all, you can have all alerts in 1 widget

but thats up to you

If you are using custom code for the alerts(which I see you have ticked as ON currently from the screenshot)

if all variations use the same code

then its best to make separate overlays

and move the alerts widgets to each overlay

meaning

if you are doing followers only alert widget

move it to its own overlay

then the sub alert wigdet to a different overlay

and so on

Simply put: The commands and quotes are not being imported, despite it saying "Import successful". Currency worked fine though. Also, the import simply can't be done as outlined in the walkthrough, since you can't import the Command and Quotes files at the same time.

Hi. All tips are going directly to your PayPal. SE doesn't touch the money on any stage of that (we just receive ping from PayPal that this transaction has been finished). If you are not using SE.Pay, the money should be on your account once you got alert played

@queen wasp If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hi guys! I'm looking to mask parts of a label. So my label has multiple numbers on it... I want to use SOME of the label, but "Get rid" of other parts. EX: "$0 $10 $20" <----- I want the $10 and $20 to be seen on my overlay, but mask the $0. How would I go about that?

I tried creating a transparent canvas and layering it "on top" of the number but that uh... that just showed the number since it was transparent. If I could just crop it out, I would. Any ideas, or is there an easy way to do this I'm not aware of?

Yeah I bet that’s your problem and depending on your internet speeds you may want to bump up your bitrate to 4500 or 5000

@tough galleon When changing the settings for a widget in the overlay editor, applicable widgets give the option to change video, image, and/or sound. Selecting to change that brings up your asset library, and in the top right there's the option to upload.

Hi I have a quite stupid situation on my hands.
I have my channel bot connected to be a rename of stream elements chatbot. I wanted to log onto it to change the username format but I got prompted by twitch for a code send to the email.

Problem is I don't remember the email I used for it. Account was made in 2013 so 7 years ago.... I tried all email addresses I know but none matched.
Twitch support is not helpful so here I am hoping that streamelements holds the email address of the bot. Can anyone help me with this?

@strong kernel the bot it's not working like if i type !title to type my title it doesn't say title has been change "to the title" commands like !followage !watchtime and custom commands like !opgg don't work at all

@fresh fjord If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:
1.) In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2.) Click on Stream Settings -> Custom bot name
3.) In the "Custom bot name" field select "Set custom bot name", not your already existing username (with capital letters)
Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png)
4.) Scroll a bit down and click on the purple "CONNECT CUSTOM BOT ACCOUNT" button
5.) Log in as usual and "Authorize" the custom bot name
6.) Back in the Activity feed, click on the "SEND TEST MESSAGE" button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

@neat otter Follow these steps to grant managers/moderators access to your dashboard:

1. Click on your Channel Name at the top of the dashboard and select Settings
2. Create a new invite at one of three access levels (Bot Supervisor, Editor, Full Control)
3. Send this invite to a mod/manager to give them access to your dashboard. The link is one-time-use and expires after 72 hours if not accepted

@spring comet To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website), and ☑ “Shutdown source when not visible” https://youtu.be/KDvLynUqXI4

@queen sigil Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have Overlays over your console gameplay.

@mighty junco If you changed your name on Twitch please follow these steps:
🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).
