Hello there, I need some help regarding the channel integration and management in Streamelements, may I ask here?

Basically, I logged in Firefox to see the features and to see if it was worthy switching to S.E., added my YouTube and Facebook pages, then signed out. At night decided to give it a try, logged in in Chrome using my Twitch, and now the channels are separated in each browser. When I try to add the Fb or YT account into Chrome, it says "already claimed" and vice versa

Is there any way to remove the channels added in Firefox, and then add everyone into Chrome? Thanks in advance!!

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat.

you can do this while live 😉 doesn't affect anything

just to make sure, if you test an alert in the overlay editor, does it pop up in OBS? 😛

because the solution for that requires a restart of OBS, so that would better be done while not live 😉

What can I do about not getting HOST alerts? I have the overlay set-up properly and if I simulate a host alert in the overlay editor, it does show up on stream just fine. However, when I got hosted yesterday, the alert for the host didn't pop up and it also didn't show up in the Activity Feed, even though it is enabled in the filters.

@buoyant belfry Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Hi everyone. I’m a new streamer and got Streamelements running last night for a stream. I had my iPad next to me logged in to the Twitch iOS app and in the “dashboard” view (shows me events and chat), since I don’t have second monitor at the moment

Well I have an issue. For 2 days now my stream report has told me I have had some people chatting, but I didn’t see ANY activity in my stream at all. Even my current Viewers seem wrong. My email summary from SE said “You peaked at 3 viewers, +200% from your last stream
You had 6 unique chatters, +100% from your last stream”. Literally no one was chatting except the one time my Streamelements bot displayed my tweet.

The Account from my friend is bugged, it pulls no data from twitch, in my account is everything working, we tried different pcs, resetted the data, tested many browser, restarted the pc, disconnected the connection from twitch to streamelements & connected it again, we tried deleting the account aswell. Streamelements is a mod and joined the Channel, it thinks its offline aswell (the twitch account is live) and in the twitch settings it says aswell that streamelements have a connection

you must understand that most of us are people who do support voluntarily here. we also have fulltime jobs and life on the side. second: there must be someone around that knows the answer to your exact question (which i do not know myself). So it can take a while and stuff gets snowed under because it is super busy nowadays because everyone and their mother-in-law wants to stream now because of all the lockdowns.

@winter cradle Thank you. 🙂 So my stream boss was forced max XP to 16,000 by a wonderful viewer. The issue is that now, no one wants to fight for being the new one because it's so high. Stream Labs boss doesn't allow healing past the max XP, but your stream boss pushes up the max XP when the boss heals (which I want to keep). Perhaps it's a setting that I'm missing, but how do you make sure it never goes above X?

Adding a scene with green covering it then putting footage on it and chroma keying away the transparent parts to show the stream wouldn't work would it?, since the stream scene isn't selected anymore then

If I want alerts to pop up on screen for new follower, donation, etc. am I locked in to what is available on the SE website? Do you recommend starting with what is on SE site and customizing for the best integration? I know of s***labs and other sites but don’t know if I’ll get worse experience than if I do everything out of SE, which is of course my preference. One single solution

willow, I'm not a support person who's waiting for answers too but a viewer told me that the audio was playing in an instant replay I set up. I couldn't figure out what to do about it until I triggered the effect and noticed that only when my replay was running did it show up in the audio sliders to mute. I don't know if that will help you isolate a default sound but maybe it's some info to start with

BTW I used StreamElements today for the first time on a real twitch stream and it was amazing. So happy with it. My only surprise was the chat bot I configured to be on the 2nd security setting timed out someone for 2 full minutes for posting an unsolicited link, and ALSO deleted ALL of his messages, not just the one with the link in it. Can that be tweaked a bit to not delete all of the ‘OK’ messages?

@wide compass You can test Alerts via the bell on the lower right corner of the Overlay Editor. Simply go to your Dashboard -> My Overlays -> Pencil/edit button on the overlay. Make sure the "Show Emulated events on stream" option is on to see the alert in OBS/Xsplit https://streamable.com/h6qgy

So this is very strange and seems to only affect one of my viewers.
He cannot redeem any of my store item sound effects even though he has thousands of currency. The bot will say "Sorry, you don't have enough points", even though the sound effects are 500 currency or cheaper.
But he can redeem a !kappagen that costs 500 currency. How should I go about trying to get this fixed?
This doesn't seem to affect any of my other viewers

Hey I'm having that issues again with the alerts not working for certain users who are following.

I had this issues last night. I've restarted my computer, logged out and everything. Streamlabs see's the event but not streamelements.

on my twitch and streamlabs yes I see them on my activity feed. On Stream Elements I don't. It's like Stream Elements isn't getting all the events that are going on in my twitch.

The bot/alerts are both not working

Again streamlabs is getting the data just fine it's stream elements that isn't.

Let me log out and then log into twitch and disconnect my account and then reconnect.

That won't do anything.

We obtain followers from Twitch via subscribed webhooks. If they don't send the data through that webhook, then we have no way of obtaining it. Just in case, we've resubscribed the webhooks for your account, but if it continues to miss follows, it could very well be an issue on Twitch's end of things.

I think I got it working, I did that disconnect thing and so far subs seem to be working but I'll keep an eye on it tonight.

But if you have any issues loading the overlays in SLOBS, we can't help much and the only suggestion I can give is to try and reload the overlay until it works.

thanks for the help @ionic kelp and @zenith widget , u have any idea why the command !items wont work for my friend who I'm managing his channel, when I do !cerrartienda (spanish command for closing the shop) it says that there are no items, but when I do it with the shop opened the bot wont say anything, and if I try doing a custom command and manually type the names of the items and some other text, the other text shows but the names of the items don't.

Do tips and donations automatically block out twitch TOS material or do I have to put in my own custom filter? If I enable the standard profanity filter will that block out standard cuss words (f*** s*** etc)?
