Ok I just discovered why it was doing this. With an update it had made Edge my default browser even though i was using Chrome. o when the browser link was opened it used Edge and caused an browser crash.

Hello everyone, No matter what Settings I use from Youtube or any other page I still get Blurry and Artefacts on my Stream. I have a Downloadspeed of 50k and an Upload speed of 10k the Green dot never goes Red or I don´t drop frames. I have Ryzen 3700x, 2070Super and 16gb ram 3200, no matter if I do from GPU or CPU (Fast/Medium/Slow) it´s still the same. I tryed 720p 900p and 1080p, 60fps always. Edit your Overlay and then add a new Widget and look for the Stream Labels section. Under that you can add many things, such as Latest follower 😉

I have setup my Tiltify campaign and linked it to StreamElements and have tested it on the dashboard to make sure it works and it does. (using this as a guide: https://info.tiltify.com/support/solutions/articles/43000005973-integrate-streamelements
However, received $300 in donations for St Jude last night benefitting sick kids and the alerts do not appear to work live on stream. Any advise as I talked first with Tiltify and they mentioned if the test alerts work, it must be an issue with SE integrations on your end?
The alerts are critical to driving more donations to help these kids so any help would be greatly appreciated

If so, try going the Browser source in OBS and "Refresh cache of current page" give it a few seconds and see if you can test again to see if it appears in obs.

If you mean, that you have more than one Overlay from when you Imported from StreamLabs, but you want it ALL in one overlay, you can choose one of them as the Overlay you want to use (rename it to something like Main Overlay...), go and Edit each of the other Imported overlays and under the Layers section you can click the Dupilcate Widget button (looks like a standard COPY icon), then choose Other Overlays and then choose that main overlay you want them all to be on. It will copy that Widget to the overlay. Then just repeat that for all the others to the same overlay 😉

Please understand that every setup will be very different.
Any guides or videos that claim otherwise are misinforming. Your best option is to start with a base and adjust as necessary.
You can run the OBS auto-configuration tool. To use the auto-config, click on the Tools menu in OBS, select Auto-Configuration Wizard, and then just follow the on-screen directions.
You can use this tool to get baseline settings for your hardware and adjust as necessary from there.
Test, test, and test again. We are happy to offer suggestions for any issues you may be having afterwards, but not a list of settings.

@river plank Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:
- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

been looking for 2 or 3 hours online but i can't find a way to figure this how but, how do i make the boss silent about redemption? or at least ignore it in certain contexts? i was trying to make a simple script within a command to react with a randomly-chosen SFX but there is no escaping the redemption message (which seems to be built-in.) thus instead every time i use the command (which responds correctly without the script) i just get a redemption message. - Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
- Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

its a default thing - can't be removed, but shows your current loyalty points in the channel you are viewing

alright. I'm in the process of migrating to SE from SL, if I set 'timeout length' to 0 on banned words, will it just remove the offending message without timing them out? From what another streamer friend told me, it removed someone's subscription when they got timed out.

@dim marten The "remove subscription" was not confirmed by Twitch as a bug or even a thing. Most likely your friend saw a clip of nmplol saying the sub got banned but also removed the sub icon.
It was found out the person who got troll banned, had their sub lapse and the ban just removed the icon from a non-active sub.

Hi i have the problem that the host alert ist not working on my stream all other (follow,Raid,donate,..) are working but when i get the host i do not see it on the activity feed also..

- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

yes you can actually duplicate everything within the overlay to another overlay vis SE site. Within the editor you will see a 2blocc{with red} that is your dup button 🙂

WHen I open task manager, CPU and Memory hover around 40-50%. GPU is well below 50%. Only thing that is high is Power Usage, which honestly I don't understand what that means in Task Manager. I don't think it relates to the PSU

@Ix not at all. Which was puzzling, As I mentioned I used Streamlabs and all of the setting are the same. Triggering the old Streamlabs alerts plays audio in OBS with out issue.

I am not sure if this is the correct channel to ask this question it, however I am trying to import my stats from streamlabs to streamelements using the chrome extention. However I keep getting the message 'an error occured' is there any known fix for this?

@ix I tried just changing the URL in the SL browser source to the SE URL. Still no audio. I edited the videos in shot cut and left the audio as default export settings. They producer sound in the editor when that isn't muted but not in the browser source.
