Hey! I just updated obs today with the stream elements extension and now when I click start streaming, it shows I am live but the stream won't start... I have my account connected and everything. Yesterday it was working fine. Can you help me with this please?

Try to disconnect your twitch account in the settings > Stream in OBS and reconnect your account.
Then select StreamElements at the top in OBS.Live > Log out and log back in the same way.
Then try to start a stream. Do you get any error message?

Delete the browser source with your ovleray and readd it to your OBS. Make sure the browser source properties are correct.
Then emulate an event again.
Check if the checkbox Show Emulated events on stream next to the emulation bell in the overlay editor is checked and try to emulate an alert again.

is the message you get when you do !when, and your song is currently being played or loaded into the player to be played next.
super confusing. The first should say "your song is coming up soon" or such, while the latter should say "your song is currently being played".

Hello there! I am having trouble getting the alert sounds from the streamelements overlay to play on OBS/stream. I have it set to control audio via obs, and have it on monitor and output in the advanced settings. OBS isn't picking up the sounds at all, only when I test it via the streamelements overlay editor can I hear it via the desktop audio. Here's a picture if this helps!! Thank you for any help.

You can try to set the bot language, to have it posted in your set language, if the translation is available.

Yes, this is serious, GroundControl does not have any way to launch browser sources, which is needed to play the alert sounds.
Only a launched overlay on a browser, in OBS or in the overlay editor will give sound if there are the correct widgets in there like an alert box.

Trying to set up alerts and can not get them to play in OBS or when launching from browser. They do play in the editor though. Setup is done correctly, I have used stream elements in the past.

I am having a little problem. A couple of weeks ago, I linked BTTV to my Twitch, and now I can't get Twitch emotes in my KappaGen. I've tried everything I can think of, including disconnecting my BTTV. However, the emotes are all still there.
I don't want to need to disable my emote-splosion. Is there any other way to get it to work?

Goodmorning. Question: Yesterday I had someone redeem items from the Stream Store and it showed up in my Event List, but today it's not showing them at all. I tried deleting the Event List and putting a new one but it still didn't show them. I also had the Bot 'Part' the channel and it didnt seem to do anything. I will also say that I did a 'Reset Session' on the 'Activity Feed' tab in StreamElements - maybe that could be it?

@coral gale Afaik redemptions are only browser session based elements. So they will show when they happen, but when you relaod the overlay or clear the browsers cache, they are gone from the event list widget.

Points can be spent in any number of ways. You can make specific commands cost them, enable bot modules that use them, run giveaways that require them, run contests to gamble them on, or create stream store items to redeem.

I just streamed for like 3 hours and between the 3 and 4th hour somewhere my stream decided to just drop frames, and it then disconnected and kept giving me an error message everytime i went to restart saying check youre using the correct streaming service and that there is no firewall blocking it.
any suggestions why this might of happened??
