hello, I set up a chat command to post emotes to uses could just type in the command and not have to click on the emote a handful of times... however... when streamelements replies to the command it only has the typed name of the emote, not the emote itself... how can i fix this? he changed his twitch username about a month ago, but I believe he's been able to use the command after that happened and that this issue started around the time of the database backup
people give him points, he does !points and it tells him he has points, he does a !clap command which purchases clap from the stream store, and it tells him he's got 0. So people can give him points, he can see that he has points.. The leaderboard says he has points, but the store doesn't work haha.

I think it's fixed now, so there are two fields within the editor. The Alert message field and the Top/Bottom Text Area fields. The Alert message field had {amount} while the Top/Bottom Text Area fields had {count}

I setup the chat alerts for my twitch channel, and tried to use some custom messages, but looking into the actual stream chat, whenever an action happen i see the {name} variable instead of the name of the guy who followed (or donated\sub). so im trying to set up my channels with SE, im logged in on firefox and i can see the attached utube acct. i tried to also add my twitch but kept getting an error, i assumed this is due to adblockers. so i logged in to SE on chrome, and was able to attach twitch there. but now it seems like i can only do anything related to utube on firefox and can only access twitch on chrome....

Hey, so my streamelements overlay has been delayed by 10-30 minutes the last couple of days
"refresh cache of current page" in OBS source fixed it temporarily for a small period of time
but alerts, chat messages, and the media request song titles were all delayed
has anybody experienced this before? I think it might be related to the media requests widget, since I don't think the issue existed until I added that, but I'm not sure

Hello there! I have an issue regarding browser sources. I am struggling between two options: Have Browser sources unloaded when not showing in order to avoid alerts playing multiple times at the same time BUT have sources take a second or two to show up after a sceneswitch, making them look very clunky because of a temporary blackscreen or sacrifice the ears of my followers for said smoothness... Is there a way to make the browser sources load more smoothly?

I do use studiomode in order to edit things mid stream and am aware of how it works, however it seems very tedious to always have to click that first before transitioning, especially with me using different scenes for comedic effect. - All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Maybe on like a daily basis if they have this role, they get a set amount. I use statbot to give out a role if a user meets the set requirement to be considered “active.” What are the possibilities of something like this being achievable?

Nothing is sent; I have had it turned on and on 0 lines of chat just to make sure that it sends after the 20min mark, nothing is sent to chat.

Afaik the bot needs to have been activated one time before the timer is activated for the next times.
So try to make the bot speak one time in your channel for example via command and see if that helps with the timer.

🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

My alerts also stopped work randomly about half way through the stream, even emulated alerts dont work if I have them set to show emulated alerts on stream, if I emulate in browser they work. but actual alerts also dont work in browser (they show up in ground control though)

So for the custom bot name you must be using OBS.Live. It doesn't work with Ground Control which is a bummer since I strictly use XSplit.

@wispy epoch 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.
