While I'm on I do have another question regarding an issue I'm having with the SE overlays being used as a browser source through SLOBS- is it normal to have a long delay when the browser source refreshes? If I leave my main scene where the browser source is set up and come back to it, there's sometimes a 3-4 second delay before my overlay comes back

I run Twitch, Mixer, and YouTube channels all under the same name, and I am hoping to get them merged into one account (with Twitch as the "main" account) if possible.

I have it ticked to refresh every time the source becomes available, and I think that's whats slowing it down. If that's normal though, then that's fine and I understand. It's just the volume issue that seems irregular to me
If I utilize my desktop volume as the source for the alerts then they sound fine on stream, but if I utilize the volume from the browser source then they're so quiet you can't here them even with speakers cranked up

I never used that but I suggest duplicating one alertbox to a new overlay for testing purposes, then edit it and set volumes to max on website/overlay alerts, then see if it's better on OBS when you control via OBS

I will try that. If push comes to shove I can use alerts from SLOBS, but SE allows for video alerts, and SLOBS is just gif and sound, so it's not quite as polished or convenient

Yeah, I was wondering, since I'm streaming I hear from recordings that I'm a little to quieter than other streamers that I watch them live. My OBS shows that I'm talking nearly like very close to orange bar, but still recordings are most likely showing that stream volume is a little to low than in other streamers.

I've looked over my account and can't find anything wrong. Hi, I turned on Chat alerts module but my bot(StreamElements) still won't post any messages in chat about followers/subs etc. I have them all turned on in the module settings. The widgets I have on screen for each of those alerts works fine, but I'd like it to announce in the chat also.

I am super confused and hopefully someone can help. I used streamelements for the past year with my youtube channel and I loved it. I made my own overlays and alerts which worked perfectly. However, I recently switched to twitch and hooked up my twitch account to stream elements but when I go to import my youtube channel it keeps telling me that the other channel is other claimed by someone else. Is there anyway to override this or do I really have to recreate all the overlays that I made.

@chrome garden You can technically use the game variable as the counter name itself, but it needs to be escaped to make sure it counts as a single word (i.e. Dark Souls becomes Dark+Souls). You can wrangle together a reset and set counter command with a similar setup for convenience

@atomic crater Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:
- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Hi guys! Can you please help me? So I've done my overlay, everything works fine. But I want to use my local donation system, which works with Streamelements and sends donation info via https://docs.streamelements.com/reference/tips#tipsbychannelpost . So problem is when I get donation by that system I receive correct data here : https://streamelements.com/dashboard/tipping/list . But on my overlay I receive incorrect currency. For example, someone tipped me 25 uah, it will appear in list with correct currency, but in alertbox and labels on overlay it will say 25$. Is there any possibility to receive correct currency there?

That's interesting about loyalty points.. because i started use Streamelements in September 2019 while backup is from November. But my viewers have 40 minutes watchtime only. Like only stream which i did in the night to 00:42 am

If a user is a Twitch mod in a channel, can the broadcaster just type !level <username> 1000 to set them as a Super Moderator in Stream Elements? Or do they have to do it through the UI?
To be clear, the Twitch mod has not been added in any way yet to the Stream Elements UI.

To answer my own question, you do not have to add them to UI first, you can just do it through the command line in Twitch chat.

Hello! As far as I'm aware, there isn't a method to manually add/modify watchtime is there? I have some more up-to-date records for some of my users and would like to manually adjust their watchtime if I can (to recover further from the database issue) but I don't know of any methods/endpoints that would allow me to do this?

This question is unrelated to the current issue but I still need to get this question answered and I've poured through all of the past messages that my sanity can handle. I have an issue with my bot just leaving my channel. It's been going on for a couple months now where it would just leave and a couple streams later it would come back. I tried removing the bot and re-adding it, removing the custom name, disabling OBS-Live and reactivating it and nothing works. I just have to wait for it to make it's way back to the channel. Is there something I am doing wrong or is this an issue I can take care of? (I understand it may be more difficult with the current situation but my timing is never great)

I have an overlay that has widget A showing something.
overlay has widget B showing something else.
and overlay having widget C showing different.
can i make a "complete" overlay that just imports the other 3 overlays so I can have atomic edits or include them in other overlays and be able to centraly change the widget regardless of the overall overlay it belongs to?

@clear sapphire when in the original overlay you have created, what you do is clicc the widgets name then you hit the dup button then will pop and ask what overlay you like then choose the one you want to duplicate it too 🙂

In fact, I was streaming while this whole database issue was resolved, and noticd that some viewers were getting points again (ignored ones) while some others were not (NOT ignored). THAT is a new issue, but mentioned it then, mention it now.
But yeah, the main issue is: it's in the Ignore list, but still gets Loyalty points
I've tried dis-ignoring and re-ignoring, re-logging, kicking bot and re-adding...

I'm creating a custom !lurk command on twitch right now and I'm trying to set it up to do random picks with the variable. The issue is that whenever I add more than 3 quotes it gives me the following error "Parsing error at position 374: Mismatched quotation mark". The signs are at 376/500 and I have 7 quotes. I tried testing it where I changed each quote to a number from 1-7 and that seems to have worked. So is it just because my quotes are too long?
