hey guys, not sure if this has been raised but the HypeBoss avatar seems to revert to the channel owner's avatar.
Boss name and avatar are initially changed after the boss is defeated but it seems when the overlay is reloaded(?), the avatar reverts to the channel owner but the boss name is changed only.

Is there a way to make it so that everyone can add quotes? Even though my default "quote" command is set at the "everyone" level, only mods and higher can add quotes. Everyone is able to use the quote command to pull up quotes that were added in the past, but they are not able to add new quotes. Only mods and higher can do so. Is there a way to change this?

@wise lance the sub goal is intended to count with every incoming sub so it doesn't filter out resubs. if you're trying to hit a milestone of subscribers you may need to look into a custom widget

My slider is set to "49% rigged" yet I have viewers loosing about 90-100% of the time. Is it possible that there is an Error in the randomizer?

Is the hosting broken for the Twitch hosts?

I set it for 0 and 1 and it still doesn't pop off a host

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

I did notice in the Modules, when you go to activate it, the minimum number is posted at 1 and when you try to move it to 0 it goes back to 1 under the hosting part of the module. Would that be conflicting with the alerts widget?

@lament blade You haven't enabled loyalty on your account. Once you do, it'll begin counting up from 0 for everyone while you're online. Enabling loyalty will not retroactively apply watchtime. Everyone is starting from 0.

@outer jolt If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money.

Is there a way to use link protection whitelisting without a ban? Sort of like how Twitch's just shows asterisks (***). I just want to allow some link domains while restricting others and not banning/timing out anyone. The problem isn't so much with the timing out but that it always clears out that person's chat history. Any ideas?

Disable the twitch link protection and use the streamelements spamfilter for link protection. There you can whitelist and blacklist links.

I dunno if I would ask this in here or not, but is there a way to combine multiple overlays together? I have files that imported each piece as an individual overlay, but I can't seem to find a way to connect them.

It times out users who use these links which are blacklisted, or not whitelisted. No other way for punishing the users.
What do you want to have happen when they post a link from your banlist?

@mossy totem You can import a widget from one to another overlay. Select the layer in the lower left and hit the two papers with the red dot to copy.

It's not possible to rewrite someone's message with the *** like Twitch does, that's a server side thing. Regular bots and users can't overwrite someone's chat message, so timing out is the only way

Maybe deleting specific messages will be a thing is the future, but AFAIK this isn't even possible through the API at the moment

It's already possible with that little trash can icon that mods can click manually, but unfortunately no twitch action (as in, doing a slash command /) exists for targeting specific messages (although all messages do have specific IDs... so maybe it's just a matter of time for bots )

Here's to hoping; usually when this comes up it's one of my regulars who forgets about link filtering and they don't ask first. Even when they get timed out for 1 second, it still blows away the entire chat history for them so I may miss some messages.

@valid crest Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

For the record, I've gone through directly to the TMI (the twitch messaging interface) in an attempt to listen to host events directly from Twitch and when testing with 0-viewer and offline hosts there is just nothing. Even that little default message of XXX is now hosting you doesn't show up anywhere

I think Twitch's perception is a little off on this. While some people may host to spam, others host because they want to support their creator of choice

imagine that being a setting you can't turn off and having thousands of hosts coming in

basically Twitch seems to consider raid and host very similarly from a technical perspective, the only difference is whether you also redirected people to the person's channel

Hi, I recently added the "Store Redeem" on my channel, to be able to play sound effects via a command. Is there any way to remove the text that shows up in chat when someone redeems the sound effect or is it possible to somehow get this feature but not using the store? Add a word or command that plays a sound effect?

There is no way to remove the redemm text when the item is redeemed via command at this time. You can take a look at out ideas board and upvote or submit this idea.
You can create a custom command to redeem an item, but at this time it will still show the redemption message in chat.

The last days of streaming have been very buggy. The only way I can accurately describe it is haunted. The last few streams I have pointed my camera at the OBS and my phone... There is a lot of unreasonable lag occurring. I am not sure a standard diagnostic will have the kind of answer I am looking for. I need more insight as to how to resolve these issues so I can maybe one day have a simple working stream. I just got another laptop running and I want to protect it from having any type of issues I am facing on my current one. Thanks StreamElements community.
