I am pretty sure that is a monumental task 😮 it would also further complicate matters because some streamers have special licensing for copyrighted music and there would be no way to easily let the system know those songs are okay

Using a clip of the donation alert will help, from personal experience somebody lying about sending in a tip is committing fraud so asking to speak to PayPal's fraud department about the dispute is usually much more effective than speaking to their general customer service department. - Add an item that has these settings on it:

- (Next step) Add contents (image and/or sound you want to play)

- Redemable via chat
- Skip Requirements
- Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
- Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/custom
- Add command with desired name and have response for command as:
${redeem item_name_here} - Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
- Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
- Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound

I have an issue with sub alerts, where previously community subs were working fine, but now after some recent Twitch updates, if for example 1 community sub is gifted, it first does a default sub alert for the person GIFTING, and then does a second alert, that says the person has gifted a sub to the GIFTEE

- Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
- Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Someone tipped me on stream elements, it hasn’t gone through on the stream and it hasn’t shown in my dashboard. He showed screenshots of it going through on his end. What could be causing it?

If it was through PayPal, there's a chance PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Which means it hasn't completed, which means they haven't sent us back a confirmation, so nothing shows up in StreamElements, and no alert plays.

and don't give points again if they unfollow and follow.
If they followed you before you started using us, then they unfollowed and followed, thats a different story.

For some users it helped to set the color format in OBS to i420. in OBS: Settings > Advanced > In Video > Color format = i420.

hey, I uploaded my alerts etc in the overlay maker, adjusted them but they lag. does anybody have a clue why that could be? they work on my PC but in the overlay they lag. maybe because of 60 fps? or codec or smth?

then I would suggest to cut that off
a 1080p .webm video will lag on our alert widget, due to sheer amount of stuff the alert widget shows/tracks and so on.

Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. Short version there was a massive miscommunication in chat. Streamer banned that person without trying to resolve that miscommunication. that person tried to reach out via whispers. They proceeded to say a lot of mean things on Stream then take that whisper, and make it a Stream Element command. now they are using it as a meme and making fun of that person

I have no idea on the policies of StreamElements for whether they ban users, however it sounds like you can directly report the streamer for harassment to Twitch. https://www.twitch.tv/p/legal/community-guidelines/harassment/

If you mean a report that has already been done with Twitch but, knowing Twitch's history, they won't do anything. The time I got harassed.. I reported, sent an email with the vod, and nothing was done
