Hey everyone, I wonder if this happened to someone before: I'm a new streamer, and from the first time I tried an animated overlay theme, I started experiencing a couple of problems:

As soon as I finish a streaming, my Twitch channel notifies everyone I'm on line, as if I were starting a streaming instead of ending it! Many of my viewers have told me this alrdy, why would this be happening? : /

My second problem is that my cursor(only my cursor) lags while I'm streaming with this animated overlay. My game also had lower FPS but I solved it by going full screen mode. My cursor still lagging somehow :T

Note: in the editor it says my theme is the "Sparks animated theme" but the alerts belong to a different theme I am not familiar with.

Edit: all my other alerts are the correct theme.. it's just the cheer alert.. Sorry.

Trying to stream to twitch with OBSLive, but bit rate dropping to 0, and only showing half the normal level at best of times. eg : set for 2500 getting 1400, set for 6000 getting 3000. this is causing massive frame drop, and making it impossible to stream. Any Ideas ?

Good morning guys. I am very happy for news to come today. So I left a comment on the tweet what I think it could be. One of my suggestions was to let viewers trigger graphics on stream. I was told to ask here how to do it, didn't know this is a thing

Steps to make a command trigger sound on stream:

1. Go to Stream Store page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/store/items
2. Add an item that has these settings on it:

• Stream Perk
• Loyalty settings to your desire
• (Next step) Add contents (image and sound you want to play)
• "Redeeming this item shows an alert
• Redemable via chat
• Skip Requirements

3. Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
4. Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/custom
5. Add command with desired name and have response for command as: ${redeem item_name_here}
6. Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
7. Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
8. Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound
9. ???
10. Profit in viewer interaction and that dosh

if you want it to cover you entire OBS canvas, it will depend on the canvas size. Typically your overlay resolution will match your OBS canvas, so you would just make the alert fill the entire overlay

but in general, your canvas will be a higher rez, with 1080p or another 16:9 being standard, and then setting the output to something like 720p

Just refreshing won't fix an issue that is most likely related to sound. Check if you can hear a youtube video - if yes, then Safari does not like the overlay.

If you unfollow and then follow again it will not trigger an alert. You can test your alerts from inside your overlay editor by using the blue bell in the lower left corner. @odd scarab

Custom bot name requirements

• StreamElements bot modded and in chat
• Active overlay with alerts
• StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

@small wasp probably not. I am not sure in what action you participated to get banned I would just wait for the Email from twitch and figure it out

we tried to gather information from the Twitch API ( which we use for the chatstats) and it just sayes that your Account is banned.
But apparently on twitch itself it didn't ban you yet so please contact twitch support or wait for the ban email if its permanently or not.

Basically a korean streamer I know just started using streamelements and enabled paypal tipping

So the main issues i've been seeing are

1. the tips don't show int he streamelements revenue history
2. the tips show in gmail, but when you click the transaction ID it says it doesn't exist
3. when logging into paypal the amount is still $0USD

okay so I would assume something is wrong with his pypal account

so I would contact paypal o talk with them about this

because E doent handle the money at all. we just link both paypal acounts to th administration of pypal. and if the pyment was a succses it gets tracked from the information paypal gves us and is saved in the revenue history and there for marked as a event and therefor triggers an alert

once he does that, paypal will send over the money, and the API notice

1.Click on the profile icon in the top right and select "Profile and settings"
2.On the left sidebar click "My selling tools".
3.Next find the "Block payments" setting and press "update" on the right side.
4.Look for "Allow payments sent to me in a currency I do not hold" and set it to Yes, accept and convert them to U.S Dollars. (Or whatever default currency your PayPal account uses)```

I would like to have an alert whenever a new song starts up.
Something simple like "Artist- Song" that scrolls into the screen and then scrolls out.
