Yo, quick question. I'm trying to get an alias working, but it seems to be the opposite of what I'm looking for. I essentially wanted to make a command !csgo for exampe, which would be aliased to !setgame Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It seems like the way it's handled here is opposite, where I'd essentially make a command with a response and then can set other aliases to call that same command, but I can't add a command with spaces to call a default command like that. Any way to work around this?

Follow these steps:
Remove all of the alert browser sources you've made so far.
Add a browser source as a new source in one of your scenes.
In all other scenes, instead of adding new, add the existing source.

Think of browser sources as browser tabs. If you put 5 tabs on the same YouTube video, they'll all play it and you've got 5 instances of the same song at the same time. Using Add Existing is like reusing the one tab, so it's still a single instance of the page. Makes sense?

Hi. This is definitely Twitch issue. Their chatservers are distributed all over the world, chatty uses IRC connection to one of their 6 servers.
So when your local twitch server has a problems chatty can keep connection because it is on other server (most likely).

Then, like I said before, your overlay canvas is smaller, but all of the elements are the same size. You will want to leave the overlay at 1080, and add it as such to OBS. I also find it hard to believe that you are using a 1280x720 monitor, so I would imagine that your OBS canvas can be set to a higher resolution, typically what resolution your monitor is.

The emote selection is only for explosions, it can still show other emotes that are used in chat outside of the explosion

If you actually clicked submit, then the emote explosion will only show the selected emotes, during an explosion, so an event or using !kappagen with the bot
If you are emulating a cheer, you are probably seeing the cheermotes, not emotes
when someone cheers, it will use the cheermotes in that case

Hey! I'm trying out custom css with alert box and i made a custom alert for tips. I copied video url that i uploaded to SE and pasted in custom html there... Everything shows up except that video.. In normal mode without custom css all works fine

In theory, but you are also only showing your point cost. As long as you set the minimum user level to everyone, and they are not part of an exempt group, it will cost them points to request

I am not all to familiar with dual PC stream Setups but what I would assume:
You send your gameplay and audio from your Gaming PC to a Streaming PC
All system sounds from your streaming PC gets sent to stream by OBS .
So if you put speakers to you streaming pc to be able to hear the system sound of your streaming OC you should hear your Alerts/overlay
You COULD have the overlay open as a browser source on your gaming pc to hear alerts but I would asume they also get send to the streaming pc and there for would be doubled
but Like I said I am not too familiar with this

Yeah - I just googled it and that was what they suggested and that the stream only heard it once. I opened up the alert panel for Stream Elements in a Pop Out from Firefox, but as I played the game, I didn't hear the alerts, so I assumed that the window had to be active in order to hear it. I may give it a go again to see if it works.

Well you get "curreny" for time spent in the stream and sub/follow/dono etc... but then I've seen some streamers using a programme that makes a competion for people to spend that currency on voting one way or the other and the winning category sends out the accumulated currency to the winning voters (YDCB does it often)

For example every vote starting with # would be added to list, but beware about badwords that can be used by your viewers as well

right - when using the tip function with Streamelements for the first time, you set up your account and attach a payment option, one of which is paypal and another is by credit card; I misclicked and set it up with paypal when I wanted to use my credit card, so whenever I try to tip, it goes to my paypal instead of using my card, which I'd prefer

It depends on your streamer that you are looking to tip. If they have paypal as an option (and nothing else), then tthat is what you get. you can log out of paypal on your device to get the guest card op[tion

Hello, I have a quesiton/issue
So I am trying to use the loyalty point system for music request, I go to the media request page and say its 100 points to request music, but when I go to my channel and type in !sr then the url, it does not charge me any loyalty points. What am I doing wrong?

If you scroll down to the bottom of the settings, you'll note there's an "exempt user level." Or to put it simply, it's your channel and you aren't charged.

Consoles do not have the functionality to support overlays on their own. You'd need to use a capture card or remote play with your PC in order to use them.
