Hi, anyone who knows about a fix that can help me out with my stuttering/FPS issue. I just installed OBS.LIVE today, after using streamlabs.obs - I can link my latest vod if that would help with a visual of it.
I'm assuming it can be a whole list of things, but I've used obs studio before, and it worked well back then. Then I switched to streamlabs.obs, and now I wanted to try out obs.live - Without having any specific changes from either.

I just want to clarify that this IS NOT the case. I want my site to work with as many chat bots as possible. In fact I have been trying to work with the developers for months now trying to make it work more reliably. I am not intentionally blocking the bot; If I have blocked one of the IP addresses the bot uses it was due to abuse and I had no choice. I have been trying to work with the developers for months now in order to make it possible to rate-limit a specific channel, but they stopped replying after telling me they were going to implement a solution, then never implemented the solution. If the APIs go on seemingly random cooldowns it is because a lot of users are using the commands at the same time and they all appear to be coming from the same channel. I have a syntax page for streamelements ready to go and everything, but I can't roll it out fully until the bot is properly supported

If the problem persists, open the dev console on chrome (F12) and run the extension again. Click on "Console" tab on the new windows and look for a red error

To talk to people, just have a mic hooked up to your PC

@cold lark ok, not exactly what i told you to do, but oh well: you only have the browser source in the scene in OBS. you need to add your gameplay to the OBS scene. i told you already how, but here it is again: add a video capture device to this scene in OBS and select your capture card. place that BELOW the browser source.
if you need further help id suggest going into the OBS discord, since this has nothing to do with StreamElements at this point.

I'm having trouble with importing my streamlabs alerts and tips to stream elements itself. I add the chrome extension with both websites online and it still doesnt import my stuff. There is no overlays that show in my overlays.

I don't know if this is already a known bug, but the Chat-Widget wont work in OBS. It shows the background and the frame, but the Chat messages aren't showing up. In the Editor as you can see, it works perfectly

Is there a way to mute sounds from the Hypecup? It suddenly started playing double sounds. I have two sources in OBS, one for alerts and one for hypecup, they are different overlays. I have had no problem with it before today.

@lament blade It's previewed by launching it or just adding it into OBS while you're not live. What you see in the overlay editor is also just what you get; it's 1:1. As for your second question, change your follower alert in your alertbox; it supports videos.

Thats what I figured as well, but if I remove alert source it still played a sound. But my alert overlay is playing double sounds on its own. Have no idea what changed because I did not change it :/

Don't know where to ask this. Stream Elements allows our viewers to accumulate points and we can rename these points from anything from meows to hugs. How do they get to redeem those points accrued? Slobs has made it available for people redeem their points to get cool things like twitch follows, twitter follows etc and so forth. are there any plans or is there a way already that stream elements has for point redemptions that I am missing?

@zenith widget I personally donated to him and it didnt show up in any data, 2 others also donated with the same result. All donations were done throught his SE tipping page. Also i may have asked him to reset his labels which was a mistake but the data wasn't there previous to doing so.

His tip list and activity feed does not list any tips. This would mean that either the tips are stuck in PayPal Limbo, or he needs to accept the payments. We show tips on activity feed and alerts and then widgets, when we receive a green flag from PayPal on fully successful tip

Make sure to :ballot_box_with_check: “Shutdown source when not visible” for all browser sources (all OBS scenes). So yeah, I've parted the bot and rejoined. The issue is still there, my offline timers are not going off. They did until I manually hosted someone with the command /host "twitch name" in my chat while being offline (not streaming). Any thoughts around this? Anyone else having this issue?

I've noticed this on another channel that had no activity on it, when i wrong !ping or anything else the bot started its timers and each 5 minutes it said the same thing until I think it stopped after an hour

@surreal shell 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly. There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points. It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time. Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

To explain it as basic as it is. There is one main program called OBS Studio for streaming. Streamlabs made its own version of it that is called SLOBS. If you have issues with it, then its best to ask them.
We on the other hand have made a plugin for OBS Studio that only adds activity feed and chat to it. Its not suppose to go along side with SLOBS' version of OBS Studio @silent aspen

hey guys, cant remember who it was i spoke to about this last time but there was others with this problem. the bot for twitch hasnt been working properly (sending timer commands) until you do a ! command. removing and add the bot to the channel seemed to fix it but its something to look at. cheers

If this issue was yesterday only, the bot was reset 3 times yesterday. This affects the timers
doing !ping is a sure thing to see when the bot was last restarted
So the bot should not have any issues with 0 chat line timers for the past almost 24 hours

the bot is mainly controlled by us, not by twitch. If you are in the #helpdesk-twitch then you are a twitch streamer 😄
so if you are talking about timers here, then its about the twitch version
so in short, twitch has nothing to do with the bot, while if this issue has been happening for the past month
either we need to see it in action or the timers just stop working (even on 0 chat lines and no one speaking) due to being reset every so other day.
and by reset i mean, its cloud server being restarted

ok... so the issue is i have set up timer commands on the SE dashboard, this is not working for twitch chat until you do a ! command. it works perfectly fine on youtube. some others have reported the same issue. if its just the cloud being reset then fine, if its not then its something to look into. thanks

- Ground Control app must be running
Steps to enable custom name
- Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
- Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
- Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
- Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
- Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)
Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.
