so if you tech savy you could go into the base code and delete every event that triggers the Eventlist and only use it to display hosts

if you are even MORE tech savy you can design the Eventlist widget to fit your aesthetic of your stream

I got rid of Labels entirely and only use the Custom Eventlist for example

For me it looks cleaner and les cluttered but yeah its your decision what you want to do with it and your stream

Any browser source that is shut down, needs to load when its active. Your connection, and complexity of the overlay can cause it to take longer to load, not really anything that can be helped outside of using studio mode to preload the scene

When setting up scenes in OBS for SE it's recommended to check the "Shutdown source when not visible" option in OBS. The down side of this is that there's a flicker when switching scenes due to the time it takes to load the SE scene. What do you all do to get around that? Any recommendations?

emotes on screen are from the kappagen widget, it would need to be added to an overlay. You can use SLOBS, but we cannot guarantee reliability if you use it, as SL has been know to block our services and overlays in their applications

They don't reset unless you reset them manually. Points are added for viewers watching every 10 minutes.

SLOBS is just a fork from obs and a tricky piece of software which we hear a lot of bugs, issues and instability from.
Also they tend to block our stuff

OBS studio with our plug in obs live is the best solution. Cost you less CPU, and our add on is just interface wise. Meaning you get the best performance and fastest updates with chat, activity feed and viewer counter in one window

So for that you would need to record your Gameplay and Webcam seperat from OBS (with something like Fraps or other capture software)
Since OBS can only capture the whole stream including your audio stuff like music and the Overlay.
If you record it seperat with a diffrent programm yo have only the gameplay and maybe your Mic sound also recoreded seperat.

StreamElements has nothing to do with this though maybe ask helpfull Community Members in #general-chat for ideas

@unique spade Usually we tell you via your alert/activity feed that you've received a tip when PayPal tells us you've got a confirmed tip via them. Then PayPal sends an email to you and the sender and the amount is visible in your PayPal dashboard/balance. If there are 2 from yesterday present there, you can click on "View details" on them and see if they end with "Thanks for tipping" or something similar/close. This indicates it went via our platform

If you are just adjusting the size, then what Truxrobj said is fine. Otherwise, you will need to go into the settings and check the box that causes the webcam to turn off when not active. The camera's can only send their information to one source at a time, so if one is pulling it, others can't.

You need to use the same source for the webcam in all your scenes as Truxrobj had said. If you create multiple sources for the same webcam, then when you transition to a different scene the webcam source in that scene cannot become active until the other sources for the cam are completely shutdown. The setting in the source to shutdown when not active does not always do the needful

Are you sure you are only using one source for the cam? The log you provided shows 4 sources for your webcam. It also seems like you might be missing required MSVC++ runtimes on the system, and right now my best guess would be that your crash is coming from the AMD hardware encoder

The AMF encoder is pretty garbage, and is known to have stability problems. I would suggest trying the x264 encoder (software) and using the veryfast preset

Steps to enable custom name

2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

nvm, I see this on the session data board Session data automatically resets 15 minutes post stream. All events that occur off-stream will be accumulated towards your next stream.

Thanks @torpid estuary - If I can put my 2 cents in regarding what I would hope for... I would sort of hope for the same options that I can give the Subscriber-only stuff to (separate controls for that, kinda like splitting up subs and regulars within the interface), and be given the option to give them currency the same way as subscribers (twice as fast, in my case). If we could also include them as part of subscriber-only giveaways (subs and vip giveaway event) - that would be cool. I'm utilizing mine as a way to acknowledge Patrons, so I'm trying to give them as close to the same benefits within the currency and bot systems as possible.

Greetings!! looking for some help. I play on an ultrawide monitor, is there a way to scale down to 1920x1080 on the stream end of things while my view is still in 2560x1080? i cant seem to scale stuff down without it looking compressed and like ass. any help would be awesome 😄

You cannot downscale 21:9 to 16:9 without distortion of your image.
You either run your game in a 16:9 resolution (and therefore do not benefit from your monitor) or live with black bars for your viewers.

Hello I need help please

Currently my OBS has been dropping frames here and there. As of today, its dropping pretty much all frames. I've done multiple connection tests to see if it's my internet but nothing is working. Tried changing my servers for streaming and other settings but to no avail. Also read through a few forums but have not found a solution. Any tips or suggestions?

well, from that screenshot, it looks like you have a browser source that is pointing to the main SE page, not an overlay URL like it should

and it looks like the browser source is still set to the default resolution
