No way you are using x264 on an i3, and the 1050Ti is not going to be the best at encoding and playing games . Bitrate would depend on what you are trying to output

The i3 is too low end to do encoding on a single PC setup. Depending on everything in your scene, there may be times the 1050ti becomes overloaded, and there wont be much you can do. What is your output and video currently set to? Bitrate would depend all on that

If everything is running smooth at those settings, I would not touch anything outside of maybe bumping the bitrate up to 4500, as NVENC benefits from higher bitrate than x264. Are you using overlays or anything like that? Because with Lanczos, and outputting to 60fps, it would be very easy to overload the GPU

Is there a list of Hours watched list/leaderboard, I'm trying to export viewtimes but when I do it, it just takes the points per x minutes and however many points they have is their watch time, but that throws it off cause of minigames and redemptions.

@blissful fable 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly. There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points. It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time. Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

- Ground Control app must be running
Steps to enable custom name
- Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
- Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
- Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
- Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
- Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)
Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

I'm working on a project to use small clips of other streamers (Friends of course) as donation alerts, I was planning to use around 100 different clips for tips alone but I've only uploaded 25 clips thus far and I am using 40% of my data. Is it possible to have more? I wanna do something similar for follows (smaller sound only clips, so no big deal here) and subscribers.

Steps to enable custom name
- Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
- Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)

- Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
- Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)
Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

Wait a moment, are you referring to your stream dropping to 30fps?
With WiFi you won't get a stable connection to even try and stream with 2500 bitrate for 1080p 60fps

in obs it says it is only running at about 30fps when im in game but as soon as i tab out it shoots back up to 60fps
unfortunately i have to stream over wifi, i live in a share house with the router in the kitchen so it can reach everyone's room evenly

You will need a super high WiFi speed and stable router in order to support this, but also note, that most streamers can't get to proper 1080p 60fps stream, due to encoding provided on demand basis from Twitch
and their priority is Big partners firsts
So I'd recommend for you to switch down to 720p 30fps settings
so that you may get more speed over your wifi as well

I used to stream using Omlet which is better in terms of privacy cuz it has stream shield that lets you black out the screen for your viewer when you need to check something out of your game like if you wanna view your FB messages privately

The obs css editor cant affect our overlay due to protection on the widgets. If you want to edit the widgets its best to use the overlay editor in the dashboard

@weary mist Sometimes GC would load and the song volume would be very quiet. Sometimes takes 2-3 reloads before youtube volume normalizes. Would usually sound like it's stuck at 10% volume no matter how much you pumped it up inside Windows volume control or using the !volume command

As for GC, there is a volume bar in the app, if you extend it horizontally it will appear. That normally helps. I also think it syncs with your local settings on youtube

@weary mist Yeah the issue with volume just ignored the volume slider inside the app. It was the wildest thing, but restarting a few times fixed it. 🤷 Anyway, the issue has vanished. No matter how many times I restart my PC or reload the app, the volume is consistent now. I'll check across a few machines that I run GC on to make sure it's universal.

@modest carbon if you can get an old APK release of bitstream, you can use that with our overlays. But don't update it, as SL removed the ability to use our overlays in alter releases

that command would play the music if it was not already playing, but the media request would need to be running and captured and broadcast to the stream. If you have media request playing on your phone, what is your streaming setup? Are you streaming from a PC?

I don't think this is something we want to revisit unless there is a significant number of streamers who request it. There has not been since this change was made some months ago

Guys I am tired of this shit. I am with i7-8700k clocked to 4.5 + gtx 1070 16GB ram 3200MHz and when I stream fortnite the game is stuttering for some reason
I was with i7-4770k before the same think happend I though the processor is the problem but nope, the problem still continues
I have no idea how to fix it
I tried windows 7 windows 10 I tried your version of obs
I tried different video drivers
Also did format on my whole hard disc
Nothing will fix this lag. Even if I downscale do 720p same think happens
