aspect ratio all has to do with your canvas, output resolution, and what resolution you added the overlay at. If you see lagging from an overly it could be an issue with heavier widgets, like animation kappagen, etc. It could also be related to your system not being able to handle the work load, especially if it is a single pc setup, and that will depend on your specs, output and video settings in OBS, and what you are streaming @acoustic junco

click the large pencil to edit, and add the widget you want

or if you have a widget from another overlay you want in a different one, open that overlay in the overlay editor, select the widget, and click the duplicate button in the layers

Afaik, if you are resigstering a business account, you still need to have a registered a Sole Proprietorship as the minimum for your country and then take w/e "company" number they give you and provide it to PayPal

this way PayPal lowers fees on your account.

what processor do you have, obs is not related to streamelements. NVENC is not a good idea, try using the the x264 encoder. 320 bitrate for audio is abit too much, normally max for twitch is 160 bitrate for audio.

Hi guys, quick question regarding the OBS live plugin-- has anyone reported some extra lag when using the plugin, either in game or just in stream? I'm wondering if it's just me

@torn imp Can you please provide a log from your last stream. You can find this log in " %appdata%/obs-studio/logs " OR Help > Log Files > Show Log Files. You can simply drag and drop the log file into Discord.

Siege has a Cpu bug where it causes 100% Cpu usage.. So if anything, the little extra power caused by the addon is enough to be an issue

This is the log file I had. it was from about a week ago or so, but there hasnt really been any changes, other than me adding "limit source frame rate"

Nothing fixes that bug. It's been a problem forever lol.

You can try turning off browser source hardware acceleration in advanced settings of obs.

OBS dropped a few frames from the GPU, but nothing major, if disabling hardware acceleration helps that is good, otherwise the only other thing to try would be lowering some settings in game

@lament blade i don't mean to interrupt, but most good wills and second hand stores have very cheap monitors that will enable you to get the second monitor. be sure to test them out before you buy. and make sure you have the cable that does work with the connections to your PC and the Monitor. (just a suggestion)

GC has not been updated for the newer Media Request system, and can cause issues, running Media Request from Chrome is currently the best recommended way of doing so

there is a toggle in the settings of GC for use song request, or something like that

1. "Shut down if not visable" isnt checked in EVERY Browser Source
2. Overlay Editor is open in Browser
3. Alert Box widget is in the same overlay two times

even if an AlertBox Widget is not visable (by clicking the eye icon to hide it in the editor) it will still make sounds
