Hi, I hope someone can help, I have custom alerts set up in the Streamelements online browser thingy and they work fine when Emulated in there.
To Stream I use Streamlabs OBS by adding the above as a "Browser" source. It works fine.
The Alerts, however, do not show in the streamlabs. It shows the text that someone followed but not the sound or the video that I added to the browser Overlay. Is this something wrong with Streamlabs?? I was using OBS before and the elerts were fine - but the FPS when streaming with that were horrendous so I switched back to streamlabs but still wish t use streamelements tools

@winged perch So the overlay shows up on the SL OBS but the alerts when emulated do not? I personally prefer using OBS, if you'd like to give OBS another try i could help you find the problem that you were having with it, for example, when you were using the regular OBS, did you have "shutdown source when not visible" ticked for all your browser sources?
Because if you did everything would run a lot smoother
And if you did not, that could have been your problem

Its the event alert (whenever we get a follow or host etc) it does not show the personalized video we made for it. I have just added them into the streamlabs alertbox now, so It it should work (gonna be streaming soon) and I can get back to you see how it goes.

@topaz python I'm not sure about which message settings you are referring to. Usually most things should be set to the bare minimum of 0 or 1 as default settings. If you've messed up your overlay and are using the pre-made ones, you can just recreate it again.

I actually haven't tried using it in conjunction with the chatbot-- I'm just trying to use the overlay. I haven't even gotten past testing it offline, just within the streamelements editor. Do you think I have to have the bot enabled for this to work, even just within in the editor? Everything else seems to work without other addons so I figured it wasn't necessary.

Greetings, folks! Long time Twitch user, new to Stream Elements. I am attempting to combine all my bots into one sweet streamelemnts bot, but I cannot get my Ankhbot/streamlabs chat bot info to import. I have watched several YT videos and followed the text tutorial on the Stream Elements website, but I am still getting a failed to import message. I tried to use the csv import option, but that was unsuccessful as well. Any thoughts? I am unable to get into a voice chat at the moment, so hopefully there is an easy suggestion of something I have missed. I was able to get Nightbot and Streamlabs over no problem, just the Ankhbot is giving me issues. Really don't want to put 500 users points in manually...

Kappagen -> Emotesplosions, theres a button that says Select Emotes and you can choose which emotes to use
make sure you save after that and you might need to refresh
And as for SL OBS, i have no idea how they function
Whenever you change something, make sure you save. If you have the overlay added in obs, rightclick the browser source, scroll down and click refresh cache and it should work fine

Yeah so I have no clue what's happening with the Cheer trigger, I made sure to try and refresh the page and saved everything and whatnot, but even after disabling any emotes it still just defaults to using all emotes lol. Same with setting it up in OBS-- followed all the instructions, refreshed, doesn't seem to want to work for whatever reason. I'm probably missing something super simple.

@zenith shell In the bot modules we have a twitter module which should post tweet/retweets. Not sure if its working at the moment properly, as Twitter has changed their API and this module may not work properly. Its their fault not ours.

@lament blade If its animated, its best to convert it to a .webm file. Then upload it to the overlay editor and place it as the wanted alert.

I have still the Problem, that in my Streams and also if I am offline, the Alertsounds from the Alertbox in my Overlays comes twice. I have only OBS and Ground Control Tool from Streamelements open and checked at all Browsersources the Option "Shutdown source, when not visible". At all Overlays I have only one Alertbox in, so why comes the Alertsounds twice? Can anybody help me, please?

Are you using Studio mode to transition between scenes?
Also, if you've setup your own overlay instead of the premade ones, double check if you have the alert widget twice
and close down the overlay editor before streaming
and double check EVERY browser source in EVERY scene you have

Then this is your other problem if you are using studio mode.
Other thing you can do is, have Windows Sound mixer open and see if its really OBS doing the double sound alert.
if the sound comes from another source(like still having open overlay editor and obs at the same time while trying to figure out the double sound issue), then close what ever is doing that sound
If these don't help, then either delete the overlay and recreate it or delete the browser source and add it again
