If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

There's currently a problem with the twitch extension. Sounds are can be redeemed for free, even if they have a set point cost. Someone with no points was spamming them tonight in my stream

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Sub alerts were going through on stream and the chat notifications were going through as well, but whenever I run the same command I use in other streams to check sub count, it comes back as 0, so I have no idea what's going on.

If your custom alert images and sounds aren't showing when you emulate alerts in the overlay editor, check the variations for those alerts. If those aren't changed, they will play the default images and sounds over your custom ones.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Hello ! I have been trying to develop a hype train overlay for a friend streamer but I haven't succeeded to find how to get hype train events from a SE widget. I've looked at the twitch dev website but using this doc the train didn't work. The thing is, by looking at the log of every event received by my SE widget I've seen nothing that corresponds to a hype train.
So here is my question, is it normal or have I missed something ? Is some special manipulation / code necessary to receive those events ?

• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hey all, new here. I'm trying to move off SL Chatbot, the desktop version. I have a command there that calls $commands(100) and returns a user specific list of available commands. I know there's a default command in SE Chatbot that will provide a link to all my commands, whether they are enabled or restricted. I have got a problem as well, i've done my campaign for raid, done all of the goals, and set the campaign as complete, payout was supposed to be at August 3rd. Started new one, did Basic and mandatory tasks, not completing the campaign, as there are people still doing the tutorial. And when i checked today, the first one was missing, just vanished, and the second campaign that i didn't fully complete was set as completed with payout day as 31 August. More than likely your accounts need to be merged! - Please note:

• Merging accounts only allow faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

Been trying to fix an audio issue for days and can't find a solution. Frequent pops and static in my recordings and streams on OBS with SE.live. Issue happens without SE live and on default OBS. All my sample rates and bit depths are set to the same value on every piece of hardware and software I own. The issue doesn't happen on any other software, Adobe Audition, Audacity, and even discord calls have clear audio with no pops. Tried restarting, reinstalling, tested mic on different computers, test different audio interfaces as well. Not a cpu issue, practically brand new AMD Ryzen 5900x 12 core processor. I've turned on and off every setting that was suggested online in forums and recorded with and without filters on. Popping still persists everytime. Someone please help me, I'm losing my mind over this

I'm trying to set up the hype cup for specifically just hosts. Every time someone hosts it drops a custom variation into the cup. Seems simple except half the time it doesn't register hosts, or at least not right away. I know SE has had problems registering hosts for alerts in the past, is this a larger issue?

Variations that are all weighted the same don't get used, it's always the most recent one I've added.

We have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

When redeeming over the widget, it shows the streamers name instead of the name of the person who redeemed the reward (see screenshot). It also shows this in the redemption log.

• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Someone gives away several subs, then the sub alert comes. Now the question would be whether it is possible that when the sub alert is triggered, a confetti animation is triggered?

Hey all, new here. I'm trying to move off SL Chatbot, the desktop version. I have a command there that calls $commands(100) and returns a user specific list of available commands. I know there's a default command in SE Chatbot that will provide a link to all my commands, whether they are enabled or restricted. But has someone already made something that will return a filtered list inline? "Commands" is really hard to search for. I'm sure its been done, just need help finding the link. 🙂

You uninstalled SE.Live? Removing the overlay should have been enough. You need to enable TTS for each variation and for the main alert. Make sure you save, then refresh the cache for your overlay within OBS.

The screenshot provided notes 4 subs, so were those specific ones gifted? The default subscription alert applies to new subscribers only that aren't gifted. Also, if you remade your entire account, subscription events will only track from the date made until now, it would not retroactively grab any sub activity.

You have to stream for two hours, then not stream the game for 24 hours, then stream for two hours.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again
