Hey everyone, me and a friend currently have problems removing a moderator from our channels. When clicking the "revoke access" button in the dashboard (https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/channels) the API apparently responds with 500 Internal Server Error. Does anybody have this problem too or found a fix to it? We already tested with multiple browsers and cleared the cache/browser data to make sure it's nothing browser related.

Hi, if i choose any other chance than 100%, it will use the standard alert sometimes instead of just the variations. Is that how it is supposed to be?

if i for example want to give follow1 a 80% chance, and follow2 a 20% chance. Instead the standard alert sometimes show

Set them all to 100% and each will have a 25% chance.

The way it works is SE generates a list of candidate variations using the percent chance -- each item has a chance to be on that list based on its percent chance (100% means always on the list, 50% is on the list half the time, etc)

Then it does a random pick between whatever items are on that list. So if you have 4 items each with a 100% chance, all 4 are guaranteed to end up on the list, so ultimately each has a 1/4 chance.

The reason you get the no-variations fallback sometimes if you don't have any options with a 100% chance is that there's the possibility every option fails its roll to make the final list, and if the list is empty, it falls back to the no-variations version.

Why would a percent chance even exist, if it worked that way? That would mean either everything had the same chance, or if there was only one thing, it would have some percent chance of not generating an alert at all, which is not generally what one would ever want.

And under your theory, if I have one alert at 100% chance and one at 1% chance, it should ignore those chances and give both the same odds, but if you go actually set that up and run that alert a bunch, it's gonna be a long time (...on average) until you see that 1% alert actually fire.

Ah, so the way the checkbox works is it runs the percentages for each variation independently, then picks one of the variations that succeeded the percentage check randomly. If none of them pass, you get the base alert.

If it is unchecked, the variations are run bottom to top. If you have two variations with a 50% chance, the bottom one will run 50% of the time, the top will run 25% of the time, and the base alert will run 12.5% of the time.

Why does Twitch activity feed and Stream Elements activity feed not align? and is this the reason why my alerts don't work?
In Twitch you can see that Nekoboota followed (during the stream. and there was no alert)
But in Stream Elements Activity feed you can see there is no activity for over a month! (which explains why I've not seen alerts for a long time)
(Stream Elements Activity feed does not have any filters on)

The odd thing is that if I go back 3 or 4 months I can see following activty in Stream Elements! So I dont know what's changed.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

But that is not really an answer is it? Its speculation. A lot of people are complaining about a lot of issues with StreamElements over the last couple of months. (basically since the start of the year, yes I checked).
Even if they are working of the queue, we would not see people complaining about tickets being months old, yet we do see those (mine included).

At this point I would expect some kind of official statement from StreamElements or Mr Perry himself about the delays for both payment and ticket processing.

With no such statement, then I can only interpret the noise what I am getting from this discord, and that noise is telling me that StreamElements is not doing well at all and I would not be surprised to see them close their doors by the end of the year.

and seeing that the last announcement of mr. Perry is to ask for more donations to keep things running, then I can only assume that things are very dire indeed.

Hello. I've not been paid for my Arknights: Endfield sponsorship that I completed on March 17th with an April 23rd estimated payout. I contacted SE through the SE's website chatbot on April 29th and it requested additional information via email. I responded with the required information and never heard back.

I contacted again today through the support ticket link provided in https://discord.com/channels/141203863863558144/1021518720889274509 . The bot again asked for additional information, including a "withdrawal date" which I assume means the payment date.

I'm wondering if there is a more direct contact for this? Not only have I not been paid for labor I have completed nearly 2 months ago, but there has been no correspondence with their support in 2 weeks other than a bot requesting additional information from me (that I have provided to the best of my ability.)

Hi, I am clueless. The sounds in my alerts are no longer playing in the streamelements editor or in OBS source. I have no idea what is happening. It used to work just fine around 3 weeks ago, I have not touched anything. Have you changed the supported formats? Even the basic default streamelements sounds are not playing. The sound of the tab is not muted. The files are working properly in windows media player. The sound source is properly set up in windows. Any ideas?

Hey! I need some help with DonorDrive integration if anyone here has used that. I've put in the charity and my participation ID, but I can't tell if it's actually connected. I made overlays to proc when we get a donation, but when I emulate them, they don't show up in OBS. A separate alertbox that I set up does show up in OBS when I emulate that, but that's not connected to DonorDrive. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Many clients of theirs have reported seeing an announcement of the shutdown from that server, made by the employee. There are screenshots of it floating around. An ex employee has been skirting around pointing out all the public information that most of the staff has been laid off on LinkedIn. That ex employee also directly encouraged people to migrate their stuff away from StreamElements as soon as possible. Short answer, basically confirmed in my eyes.

My viewers can hear the audio from my stream, but they cannot see any video/image. The stream worked normally yesterday, but today the video is missing while audio still works.

I already tried multiple troubleshooting steps:

restarted OBS and my PC
checked stream settings
changed encoder settings

tested the stream multiple times

The problem still continues and viewers only receive sound with a black/no video screen.

I don't work for StreamElements, but as someone that has used it for years and has streamed on YouTube for years, that's definitely not a feature on SE. Gifts and Jewels are fairly new on YouTube, and with everything we're seeing going on with SE currently, I have strong doubts on new features being implemented. That said, I don't think any other services have alerts for those either because they're THAT new, so it just is what it is.

Hi, I am experiencing significant technical issues with the SE.Live plugin on the latest version of OBS Studio. Since I haven't seen an update timeline for the plugin, I would like to report these bugs:

Log File Bloating (Memory Leak/Spam): The plugin causes OBS log files to grow rapidly (from ~200MB to over 1GB), suggesting a continuous logging loop or memory leak related to authorization/API communication.

UI/Window Positioning Conflicts: The plugin forces the main OBS window to launch on the incorrect monitor (specifically, it ignores my Windows display settings and forces itself onto my secondary display/TV).

Plugin Incompatibility: It seems the plugin struggles to hook into the current OBS Studio architecture, leading to frequent errors in the logs ([StreamElements] [Error]) and instability during startup.
