Hello all, i am currently trying to setup mutli stream for twitch and tiktok, twitch works just fine but tiktok says Im inelgible to stream even though I stream on tiktok studio and went through the steps to say I am able to stream on SE, any tips or thoughts on how to fix this?

TikTok studio is a separate approval from using a stream key / OBS; you'll need to reach out to TikTok.

I think I'm going to run in safe mode, save all of my settings, profiles, etc. then do a full reinstall and not add the multi-streaming dock. I was able to get rid of it yesterday but it was still freezing even though the dock and stuff was gone

for the multi-plugin to change bitrate individually. Go to where your "StreamElements Multi-streaming" dock is and click the gear icon as shown above.

This window should pop up, click on canvas setting and scroll to the advanced tab, here you will be able to change your bitrate and all other encoder options @vocal dirge

you can go as high as you want with YouTube but for 1080p i'd say about 15000 for the best quality at 1080 which tbh is probably overkill

Yeah twitch tells me it’s unstable if I got 6000

And when I look at quality after stream and it’s rough but people watching say it’s fine at the time.
But if I stream at 5900 it’s fine

sort of. It's 8000 including all audio tracks; if you go over 8000 by too much or for too long they'll kill your stream. Their official limit is 6000.

You may have to create a canvas for youtube separately. If you use multi scenes (pause, stream start etc) and want the scenes to look identical per transition just build a scene within selive and instead of adding it all back manually on the canvas, just add the obs scene, to you selive and then link them to your selive scene, I'll be able to show you once I get back to my pc

Ok to setup a clone canvas but so you can also have a custom bitrate from default

Create a New Canvas in Se-live as you would have done in Vertical canvas in your desired resolution, i'll assume also 1080p
Now create Multiple scenes (marked in blue in pic) that match your own scenes from OBS main but make sure they are named unique otherwise the scene linking will get messed up, also don't use scene 1 that comes with the newly created canvas it as it will also mix it up if for instance you use it in vertical. Check Boxes marked in purple to see about similar names.

now that you have created your scenes, its time to add sources. instead of manually adding everything from scratch, simply press the three dots (marked in Pink) on any selive scene and hover over add source and select Scene.
Now add your desired scene so if you did the three dots (for you lets call it) "YouTube Start Screen" you would add the OBS scene "Starting" if all is done correctly you OBS starting scene should now be on your se-live scene.
to add more functionality and reduce you switching screen manually. press the three dots again and this time hover over "link scene" and again select the scene you added as a source. if all goes well you should have a duplicate canvas (Orange boxes) that you can now change to have a custom bitrate and also you only need change your scenes in OBS main and the duplicates will change automatically @vocal dirge

I believe in selive you have to create 2 different ones, one each for both platforms. I would use streamlabs widgets to achieve this and use them in OBS

So I’m on Mac, haven’t used OBS in some time. I’ve updated to the newest release hoping to now use multi stream to stream to YT and twitch. When I boot up OBS it prompts me to try to connect with twitch. When I do this it opens a browser tab and then never connects. Anyone know what to do here?

It may be an SE issue, but it is more probably YouTube:

Users can choose to make the channels that they subscribe to public or private. By default, all settings are set to private.

Private: When a users subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page, and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

Whatever update happened recently has made all AI variable commands Id been using completely change responses from their norm, making them unusable. I've tried fixing one by adjusting the message, making changes and retesting dozens of times, and needed more negative prompts then the actual query itself just to get it somewhat back to what it was before. That's not going to be possible for 10 other ones that don't have the character space for that. 9/10 times the AI variable commands are giving responses with the game category, the date, and the viewer count within the message with no relevance to the message, making it sound ridiculous. Had to disable half my commands. What happened?

So I have an OBS 32.1 .1 portable mode and I installed the SE Live just now. And it took over all of my docs. And made the window larger than I can actually see on my monitor. I have a 1920 by 1080p monitor. And I can't see all the docs that are lower than the windows bar at the bottom. I tried grabbing the top or the corners and it won't let me resize downward. I am able to full screen and see it. But once I try to manipulate them then it goes right back to windowed and it goes to larger than I can see.

Alright, now I've downgraded to 3204 portable mode. And I'm able to actually make the window a little bit smaller so I can see the bottom. But now I can no longer move the The docks around. I can either pull them out or put them back exactly where they were.

I was able to fix it I suppose by resetting the dock UI. Now everything is free Moving again.

Hey I'm using a QuantumES2 interface and want to stream my Digital Audio Workspace, StudioOne. The issue is I can get the visual of it on stream but the audio refuses to show up. I figured it would come through desktop audio but nope. I've tried going with loopback methods but haven't been able to get those to work. Not sure if I'm doing them right. In the alert box, I have sub various setup to increase based on the community gifting. 5, 10, 15, 25, etc. The issue I'm seeing is when someone gifts an odd amount say 14, it doesn't group it but announces the subs individually based on who got the subs. If you're using SE to donate through paypal and you're new to paypal it does hold the money for a bit until everything is verified. You should still see it in the account though. Also make sure your paypal email is correct in the SE side when you're sending the money. You can also try sending it directly from paypal to paypal to see if it's on paypals end. But yeah 100% contact support on this one.

However when I emulate them, they come through perfect, it’s just when ever actual people on stream follow for example, nothing happens… to clarify, I’m using the stream elements live in obs. Hey! Has anyone had any issues with only their bit alerts not working? My streamelements dashboard isn't even showing the activity for bits but everything else is going through fine. I made sure I don't have filters on and I deleted the connection from twitch and re-authorized it as well as logging in and out but I'm at a loss as it's been over a week of this now. I test the alerts in the alert box and they show up fine but without it connecting properly to twitch, alerts aren't going through to stream at all

Try copying this from your alert box that has your proper running alerts into Streamelements OBS as a browser source and test it

log out of twitch in OBS and re-authenticate it and it should fix it
double check your Youtube streamkey if it's not a twitch stream

Stream key is not the rtmp server info so double check what you've entered and that it hasn't been reset or you haven't been banned or suspended

It’s just a pin because I stopped using the website as my alerts source because I thought the elements alert tool in obs/se live takes over that to handle the multi stream side of it and it covering all the alerts from each platform I have selected… if I did website, I’d have to create several Alerts/notifications for each platform which, I was trying to avoid 😅

Hello everyone! I have Spectrum and have 1Gbps down and a measly 40Mbps up, it cannot be increased and there is no fiber in my area yet. I would like to stream to Twitch, Tiktok (vertical), Youtube, and perhaps Youtube vertical. I installed Aitum multistream and have everything setup individually and haven't tried multistreaming yet as I am trying to get everything setup perfect BEFORE going live. I understand that for someone with low upseed like me that Restream might be a good idea, but does Restream allow me to have Streamelements running for chat? I've gone on Google, Reddit, etc. and I am seeing yes and no, but nobody really provides any detail or clarity. Ideally I would like to only look at one chat, if possible, to make my life easier, but still engage with the audience. Any feedback and thank you in advance! (My PC build, if it matters, is AMD 9950x3D, MSI RTX 5070 Ti 16GB, 64GB DDR5.) Sorry in advance if I come across as ignorant, because I am very ignorant to streaming. And do I have to have a plugin installed to run the Streamelements chat bot?

40Mbps could be plenty, depending on what bitrate you are streaming at.

Restream and Streamelements are entirely different and shouldn't affect each other.

If you want multiple chats, you'll either have to install SE.Live (which doesn't always play nice with Aitum) and connect all your channels, or create a custom dock for each chat.

You do not need the plugin for the chat bot, it's entirely web based.

ive never used aitum but i have with restream and it sounds like you have a really solid stream setup bro i wouldnt worry about your upload speed, 40mb is plenty if your not streaming max bitrate to all platforms. just remember though that most platforms have a rule about bitrate where your not allowed to raise the bitrate of one platform over another when multistreaming, they have to all come through at the same quality. as for your question about chat restream does have a native built in multichat but its definitely not as good as just creating your own custom docks. if you have multiple monitors custom docks on one of them is the way to go and if you have limited monitor space then a plugin is probably more appropriate.

it also depends on viewership too, if you have 10 per platform viewing custom docks are fine if you have 200 per platform a plugin will help consolidate all that info into one place so its easier to read

Hi. Is anyone having the issue of the SE bot posting in chat with the default StreamElements handle instead of the customized bot name when you do announcements? When I add "/announce " in the front of timers the bot posts them as announcements correctly but always as Streamelements. If I take that "/announce" thing off, the bot posts them with the proper customized bot handle.

Is there a way to make this work properly?

how are you multistreaming? ive never used this plugin so its possible i say something incorrect, but i read above someone saying that aitum for multistreaming + SE and its respective plugins sometimes dont like to play nice with aitum. id say its worth just looking into another way to multistream IF its really giving you a hard time since you will likely spend even more time trying to fix it. if you have good upload speeds rtmp is always an option which i hear is alot more stable then these multistream services.

just ask claude ai to help you set up rtmp if your confused, he will give u really good instructions for this kind of stuff

ive never personally streamed to youtube but the way i did it was just by running alerts through streamelements for twitch, then by setting up a websocket to connect to streamerbot essentially this will act like forwarding your alerts from obs to streamerbot, then from there you can configure alerts for either platform.

it sounds 10x more intimidating then it is bro just look up nutty streamerbot tutorial and if you get stuck ask an ai (claude is pretty beast at technical stuff)

honestly not a bad choice, i was at a point where i was averaging 50+ average viewers per twitch stream, i chose to multistream on kick for a month, and got nothing but bots. everyone feels differently about it but in my personal opinion its like the opposite of putting all your eggs in one basket haha spreading them too thin

custom chat docks are pretty easy to set up i can walk you through it, no guide needed. in obs click the top drop down menu that sais docks, click custom browser docks, then you paste the url from the streaming platform, so for example on twitch you could get that url in the settings section

you would do that for each platform you stream on. unless you meant you have a multistream chat plugin but it just doesnt work for tiktok in which case u just do it for tiktok

I downloaded the SE.Live plugin, but when I click the login to Twitch it opens the Safari browser (which is my default) and it starts trying to connect by then goes blank. I copied the URL in Chrome and the same thing happens. I can't get the StreamElements plugin to workon OBS. What is going on and how can I fix this?

nvm fixed, if anyone runs in the same problem, you got too delete the cache and remake the canvas. 3 dots new canvas even do the canvas is like right there and you already made it before this fixes it for some reason.

Had straight OBS with the selive multi stream plug in installed with nothing but issues. Had 32.1.0 and then 32.1.1 installed on the OBS. Learned that those versions of OBS are not compatible with selive. I installed OBS 32.0.4 (fresh for hub install) and did a fresh selive install. Now when I switch profile OBS locks up. I have to manually shut it down and send the crash report. I restart OBS and get nothing but the white strip at the top of the screen. I shit it down a second time and when I restart it it works fine. Any clue what is going on?? I’m at a loss. I am getting a red light 77 about every other time I start the pc (Asus crosshair 870e motherboard). That has happened since the build happened. I’m afraid I had a bad motherboard right out of the box but owned it 9 months before I did the build. Can’t see that that is the issue, but wanted to throw it out there in case.

I swear the last time I contacted support it was a simple discord ticket and it was all handled very quickly but now with the email ticket system it's made it so much more complicated. I've had a couple of issues with my goals and budget not being tracked properly and it's been weeks at this point and it's still not sorted. I've now noticed I've gone to change my payment details but that is asking me to open ANOTHER support ticket. Yeah honestly they just take DAYS to reply on emails. And then when they finally reply they don't even fix the issue and it's SO ANNOYING. Especailly since every time I reached out when discord tickets were a thing it took 2 seconds to clear something up and everything would be sorted so quickly. It's just with the email tickets everything takes SO LONG that it's not possible to clarify anything. What's most infuriating is the fact that is was incredible support just shows how capable and helpful the actual staff responding to things are but this system they've implimented is just fucking awful and would be SO MUCH better if they just went back to discord tickets where I could talk to someone for 5 minutes and have an issue fixed rather than spending weeks of back and forth with different people just for them to get it wrong because the system they're using is dogshit

there's no way to make it less for YouTube.

If you stream in 4k, your only option is Normal Latency.

The overlay you'll have to edit in the overlay editor to increase the font size. I would also make sure you have it added to OBS correctly.

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. There's nothing OBS or SE can do then, it's a YouTube thing. Also, if you're streaming in 4k "Normal Latency" is the only one available. The same may be true for 1440p as well.

Make sure you don't have two sets of alerts, or two alert boxes on the same overlay. Also double check that you have "shut down when not visible" set for your overlays.
