To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website) and check Shutdown source when not visible and Refresh browser when scene becomes active, as shown in this GIF: https://imgur.com/a/2JhJD0S

YouTube alerts are just annoying, they're probably working fine.

It may be an SE issue, but it is more probably YouTube:

Users can choose to make the channels that they subscribe to public or private. By default, all settings are set to private.

Private: When a users subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page, and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

There any known issues with the multistream plugin? As a test I enabled kick, connected successfully, stream title and category gets properly updated on kick. It shows me being live (I assume that's what the red dot indicates), but it is not streaming.

Since I am using the enhanced broadcasting option in OBS, I am bypassing OBS settings and configuring it manually and it fails with those. I've tried nvenc (GPU), I've tried QuickSync (iGPU). It never gives an error or shows a problem, it always connects, let's me update the title/category, shows as live but is never actually live.

For clarity: My primary output (Twitch) in OBS works just fine.

Hey, so I got a question about the, relatively, new multi-stream SE plugin in regards to YT outputs. So typically YT has weird funky things going on when the scheduled stream events are under the same key as unscheduled, which can lead to nothing outputting to the scheduled live i.e. a "dead stream" under its link when both the regular key and scheduled keys are using the same one, meaning you'd typically have to create a separate key for scheduled lives on YT. My question is though, when I was trying to play around with the plugin dock/settings in OBS, I don't see options to manually input or adjust the stream key to YT, and when I try to add it separately as a custom RTMP it doesn't do anything, so then how would I know/ensure that whatever the plugin defaults to will link/prioritize the scheduled stream?

Hi, its the first Time I am using the Community-Helpdesk, maybe there is someone who can help me fix my problem.
My account is linked via Twitch. Currently, the dashboard shows a pending email address that contains a typo so i cannot confirm this email adress. In my Profile the correct Email which is verified on twitch shows up. I guess this is the reason why settings like Tip Currency and Language cannot be saved correctly. 1. Since a month now, my moderators are getting displayed with my streamername, when they donate. So it looks like I would donate myself... That is really weird, and a very new thing.

2. I don't get any infromation from YouTube anymore. Nothing shows up in the activity feed, when someone is donating via Superchat or is supporting the channel. I already reconnected my channel, and yes, sure, I checked the filters in the activity board.

Hey im using the SE Live Multistream Tool with OBS, and it works beautifully, until I reset my PC, when I turn my PC on, the tool becomes immediately unresponsive upon opening, as soon as the OBS opens and i click something, it is cooked, and only work around I have found is uninstalling the tool and OBS and reinstalling, but I have done that 3 times in the past week now and I need help please 😭

Hey if it's a similar issue to mine posted a few above I found MY specific culprit. I undock the generic twitch chat dock and have it OFF of the OBS app. When restarting the app with it undocked it always crashes.

I've found starting the app in safe mode, then closing the twitch chat dock and then restarting OBS normally, THEN making sure I close OBS with the twitch chat dock DOCKED onto the app has fixed it

Hey guys, I installed the Multistream plugin and set everything up, but I can only start the vertical and horizontal stream for YouTube with SVT-AV1 or AOM AV1 video encoding. Even then, one of the two streams always breaks off and both generally run very jerkily. However, if I want to use AMD HW H.264 (AVC) or AMD HW H.265 (HEVC) video encoding, the stream doesn't even start, so nothing happens at all. I would really appreciate your help... I can't log into Tiktok from the StreamElements Window on OBS-- it opens a pop-up window on my Chrome Browser when I try to log-in through google, but gets stuck on a loading screen. Maybe it was a coincidence then, but I recently had a disconnection from my OBS and Twitch and I lost a lot of things. I think I restored everything other than I cant get my redeem type things to work and thought maybe it was like my accounts aren't synced anymore or something along the lines with a stream key etc, but I havent touched these settings in years to remember where to go.

If the redeem is what I think it is and its a wider issue, then I can stop hunting for problems on my end and just wait it out?

Edit: Chat will show the redeem still and take the cost I set for it, i just cant get anything to show up on screen or sound

Yeah, your partner can go into their SE dashboard and under their account (upper right corner) > Channel settings > Channels > Invite new manager, click "Editor", then generate Invite Link. When you put that link into your browser, you become an editor for their Stream Elements account. You can then go to your overlay gallery, and copy the overlay into their account.

I am trying on setting up a death counter using the bot commands counter.

These are setup lite this:

!tot+ --> {count deaths +1}
!tot- --> {count deaths -1}
!tot0 --> {count deaths 0}
!tot --> {getcount deaths}

The chat commands work fine.
They show the right number. Even the counter exists under Chatbot > Counters with the right number inside.

The overlay in streamelements does not work.
No matter what I do, the number isn't changing. I have to manually refresh the whole page, to get the new counter value.
The same is for OBS. I have to manually refresh the overlay to get the new values.

I already tried:

• creating a new counter.
• creating a new overlay.
• Turning the hardware acceleration in OBS off

But still there where no changes.

What am I doing wrong?
Can someone please help me?

The bot confirms the redemption, points are gone, but the audio/widget is completely dead, even when using the emulator in the editor. I’ve already tried every possible fix (new overlays, refreshing cache, checking modules), but nothing works.

It definitely looks like a server-side problem on StreamElements' end.

Hi! The settings panel is missing in the overlay editor and I can't edit the default image

When I select the widget layer, the only options I get are Position, size and style and Text settings. The normal widget settings (gear icon / configuration panel) never appears, so I can't change any of the HypeCup options.

Stream Elements is causing OBS to crash, I have sent in 3 crash reports and it only happens when i have streamelements installed and working. If I use anyother multistream it doesn't crash. I really like Streamelements more, which is why I keep reaching out. But this has been ongoing for a while now. If I turn off Obs Streamelements core I can stream, but I have to completely restart the whole pc first. Which points to the program. I looked onto reddit and a few other sites all pointing this is a ongoing issue with no clear marking as to resolve.

@granite hound most obs-studio plugins are only compatible with specific obs-studio versions, and se.live is rather unstable on top of that, try to find a matching version with fewer crashes (or use other plugins that do the same things, like aitum multistream)

When you have a counter added, a 'Refresh' button should appear on OBS when you click into it on your scene. If you click that, it'll refresh the overlay manually to reflect the counter. Unfortunately you will have to do that every time as it seems that's what's broken with SE is an auto-refresh but it's a workaround nonetheless!

If it's an issue with your sub alert then either they have their subscriptions set to private and it won't show or it's caught in the delay that youtube arbitrarily sets that we have no control over.

Lately I’ve been facing an issue authorizing the StreamElements app to log into my TikTok account. It was working normally, but after the latest update it stopped working and TikTok is no longer approving it.

Through the TikTok app itself, I can log in and go live normally again.

My StreamElements alerts have largely stopped working on OBS.

They appear on screen if I Emulate an alert, but tests of specific alerts, and actual alerts triggered by Twitch viewers, do not come up (even though specific alert tests do come up in the StreamElements page, albeit not on screen).

This forces me to stop what I'm doing and Emulate alerts manually for viewers whenever they occur.

Why does Pending Tips not work? I'm currently testing out TTS/Alerts, I'm emulating them on Streamelements and I want to use the Pending Tips in Streamelements Ground Control so that I can control when the TTS plays. However, when I emulate, it just plays and doesn't show up in "Pending Tips" Is there a fix? I did check the "Manually approve tips" in Tipping settings and also I did reload my overlays.

I found a solution that basically involves removing the Vertical window. However, if you continue to experience OBS freezing, first disable the vertical window in SE.Live. Second, go to the top tab labeled StreamElements/SE.Live Version and click on Stable version. It will restart, and when you open it, it will ask you to reinstall. Don't do this, as it will get stuck in a loop for some reason. Instead, in step three, go to the SE.Live website and download and reinstall the program.

So far, this has worked for me, but I still can't use the vertical canvas because of that SE.Live error.

Apparently streaming within TTS and 3rd party apps/services are 2 different things from what I gather.

You'd have to contact TT regarding that uunfortunately. SE doesn't have access to that information and merely says good to go/denied.

Hi i got a audio issue in obs with alert streamelement

I didn't have any problems before, I haven't changed anything since then, and I've checked the audio settings in OBS via the browser page.

Basically, I can’t hear any alerts, the volume slider doesn’t move at all, and when I trigger a test alert on the website itself, it doesn’t work. I thought it was my file causing the problem, but it turns out that’s not the case. So I decided to create a new overlay and test it with the default settings, but I still can't hear anything, whether on the stream or on the website.

PS 1: I’m using the Opera browser, and I also tried it on Edge—it doesn’t work.

PS 2: The audio works fine for you guys, but when you try to select an audio file in the alerts, you can preview the sound by clicking play—no issues, you can hear it clearly—but as soon as it’s selected, I try to run a test alert and still get no sound.

Hey quick question - support ticket isnt working for me

I use OBS and Stream elements to multistream kick, Twitch & X

I was messing around by mistake and went into settings in obs - stream - and inputted a different server and stream key by mistake ..

I realized I messed up and now when I try to go live on OBS im getting this error message "Failed to connect to server - Error reaching host. Make sure that the interface you have bound can access the internet and that the streaming saervice supports the address family you selected (see settings - advanced)

Can anyone please help me?

But they CAN do !queue pick random, but that defeats the purpose of having a queue system because it does not go in order.

I was able to find a solution through just clearing my cache + cookies as well as using Edge temporarily after uninstalling OBS and SE completely. That said, I am grateful for your help and guidance.

Hey everyone, I'm CraftingOpi. I'm a streamer from Germany and I mainly stream Minecraft and Hytale. Unfortunately, I've been having a small problem with StreamElements for a while now. My followers and raids aren't showing up in my stream. When I watch a VOD, I hear and see the alert, but nothing is displayed during the stream itself. I'm not sure if the raids or followers are actually showing up in the stream; in the VOD, I get both the audio and visual alerts, but in OBS, I don't hear anything and usually react way too late. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Sorry if this is a bit rough around the edges; it's from a translator. Thanks a lot, @everyone

Hello! I am having an issue with streamelements after the most recent update. Everytime I switch scenes it freezes now and it wont shut down. It doesnt happen with the other scenes often mostly when I switch to the scene with my PC gameplay. I use a capture card to stream with consoles but not for the PC. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey y'all! I have a question. I use the "Video on command by Benno" widget, and it was working fine until yesterday.

For some reason, the json file within the editor is not able to load or perform certain functions, like 'load' or 'volume,' and therefore, none of the videos are showing up in the overlay. The file is showing a bunch of errors with no solution. I didn't touch any of those features, so idk what happened there.

I was wondering if anyone else who uses this widget found the same issue?
