Hi guys ! Second post here (first was in French) so hello everyone I'm Elryk and i stream since two years now.
I've walked through all major bugs, crashing and troubleshootings that I can (i hope) while streaming or recording (with OBS).
My OBS is in 32+ stable version and I use SE.live plugin to multistream on Twitch (first), YouTube and Tiktok.
Since some times, my live lost in quality, desync and to finish, freeze or crash OBS !
It's simple as f***, i can't multistream anymore and yesterday, i had to deactivate SE.live to finish my Twitch live.

I haven't got any other plugins, i'm on Windows 11 as full administrator and deactivated my Avast antivirus.
My OBS process priority is super high, I have 32Go of RAM, my computer is equiped with AMD Ryzen 7 5700G and AMD Radeon RX6600XT 8Go.
I play games like Satisfactory or Minecraft (same problem with both) and even if i'm using material encoding on OBS, my GC seems to doesn't expect any issue or lack of performance when I look to windows ressource monitor.

When OBS crashes, there's nothing in logs or crash logs.
Also, when I close OBS "normaly", no trouble but when I launch it after, OBS always told me that the there was a bug on last close (no trace in logs).
I have two browser sources (overlays) but activated or not, nothing work it's not closing well.

I send a message here before sending ticket issue as a sea bottle to know if someone as expected the same issue or if i'm the only poor guy in this case !

Dunno, may be both. Depends on many things (I've got some experience in software development) like if it's a nicename or a username (you know as you can't change your username but can have a nicename displayed to players) may be he/she can change his/her nicename and you can only display his/her username or maybe he/she needs to clean cache or you... Without more information it seems difficult to give you a clear answer

Are you sure you are using the good browser source and it's not masked in OBS ? Have you send a test notif or is it a real one ? On test notifications, sometimes it's not working for me but it's working live ! Also, with AWS crash today may be it can be this issue wich impact your tests !

On SE.live you can have canvas I'v got my default OBS canva for Twitch and an horizontal canva for YouTube so I can add two separated browser sources (one on each canva)

Because Twitch and YouTube doesn't allow you to display chat of an other platform (in France) so it's same for followers etc. And that's the solution i've founded.

I need some help! I've been trying to schedule my YouTube live streams and I'm not sure how to get it to work with SE.live. I schedule the stream and the stream key appears in the OBS plugin but when I start my stream it creates a whole new stream on YouTube. Anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong? im having the same problem.. i went onto my tiktok app on my phone >manage devices> deleted all devices besides my phone then re logged in through obs and my pc, and it worked for a week, but now it isnt working at all and this same trick wont work to fix it. Hi there, I'm at loss. I have OBS and SE.Live running on my Macbook Pro M1 Max. OBS runs flawlessly but I can't connect to Twitch. The login pop-up goes to a blank page after I enter my credentials. This is my first time asking for help here. I need some help with stream elements alert sounds in OBS via browser source. Visuals work but audio does not. I get no output on the browser source in the mixer after toggling "Control audio via OBS". I don't think OBS is getting audio from the browser source at all. I have tried:

1.) Copying the correct overlay link from the Stream Elements editor to the browser source
2.) Toggling "control audio via OBS" in the browser source, and setting monitoring for that new mixer source to "monitor and output"
3.) Setting my monitoring device to "Default". This is Voicemeeter Banana in my setup which routes to recording devices in OBS and my interface output. Works for all other desktop audio.
4.) Checking volume on the Stream Elements side. All good, audio works in the editor with emulation, but just not OBS.

Hi everybody I have an issue with connecting my youtube/twitch. Since I downloaded the newest version of OBS, on the main screen when you are tasked to connect with YouTube, Twitch, etc or continue without login, nothing works. When I click connect with YouTube I select my desired account, and I check all the boxes A pop-up comes saying "Logging you in" It goes black and nothing happens. When I press "continue without logging in" it quits OBS completely. I am on a Mac.

you need to ensure you have twitch enhanced streaming unchecked or other channels will not go live if you're doing twitch and kick you need to be set to 1080p as kick doesn't do 1440p

@winged valley even if SE can't loop them on its own, you can create a loop using something like mkvtoolnix gui or ffmpeg, i can help with both

@lost summit i doubt it, but you could compress your images before uploading, most modern image editors let you choose compression strength before exporting, and for existing images you can use tools like pinga for bulk processing

had a similar question yesterday. it's not possible in one overlay. What I did is I connected both accounts and just added single elements from the elements gallery for youtube alerts.
if you want to have both implemented properly (incl. the "latest subscriber" for YT and "latest follower" for Twitch labels) you have to build the overlays 2 times and combine them properly, then add both overlays to your OBS scenes

with combine properly I mean to leave space to the labels etc. on Twitch overlay, then place the youtube overlay accordingly, so that if you add both overlays in your scene they fit seamlessly to each other

I'm pretty sure this is a StreamElements bug because we've tried damn near everything to make this stop. Even the support ticket just said they will send it to the dev team. Is this happening to anybody else, or did anybody find a fix for this? I'm suspicious of SE.Live but the streamer doesn't use it anymore. Still gonna try to have them uninstall just in case.

It seems to be completely unresponsive to anything on the dashboard. I changed the language of the bot and it affected every other command, but this one remained the same. It's like trapped on auto-sending any time the command is triggered.

I am losing my mind with this now. My streamelements activity feed is only counting stuff on the off chance, telling me ive had 5 follows ever, when i actually have 52 as well as no cheers, the whole thing is completely wrong and its been like this for as long as i can remember having it set up... I've tried using the streamelements help page for this specific issue and nothing on there has worked. This wasn't as much of an issue beforehand as i was using streamlabs but having swithced to OBS now, this is the only way i can get labels on my stream, and 2/4 are either saying there is no data or just has counted it wrong. If anyone knows of a solution for this i will be very grateful.

I was previously suspended for 7 working days, and that’s okay — I waited until the suspension period ended. However, after the 7 working days, StreamElements is now showing “under review” for 1 day, but even after waiting for a full day, it’s still the same. It shouldn’t be an issue anymore. Could someone help me out please, Im trying to do this type of layout on my TikTok stream from obs but it every time I add a new game capture to the same scene/different scene it won’t work until I disable the first game capture that I added in the corresponding order, if I shut one off the other works but if I shut the one that works, the one that didn’t work starts working again. I've created an alert box overlay for my yt streams and the membership alerts work perfect but the superchats pop up for a millesecond then instantly dissapear. Add this as a custom browser dock in OBS and then set it to dark mode via your profile picture in top right https://streamelements.com/dashboard

After that you should be able to right click and refresh that to get it working.

Hopefully I'm not posting in the wrong place! I'm having trouble configuring the graffiti subscriber goal widget (and other goal widgets like it that use progress bars.) I can change the goal amount / metrics but I can't figure out how to make the target part of the graph (the white space) adjust so that it correctly shows progress.

Basically, if I set a target amount of 3 and I receive 1 sub, it fills in the progress bar just a tiny amount and not the correct 1/3.

I have the exact same issue, my current work around is to create a monthly "Scene Collection" and "Profile" and swap to that before streaming so it keeps the most current settings. Every time I open it it's reverted back to a deleted profile I assume due to the same bug on ungraceful exit.

After managing to get the app to close gracefully without crashing using the Exit dialogue, it started working again 🙃

I had this problem because I was using the Brave browser as my default. I solved it by setting Google Chrome as my default browser, logging in, and then switching back to Brave as the default.

Hello, I got streamelements and was testing it yesterday and it worked fine setting up my "Multi-Streaming" tab, selecting both Twitch and Youtube. Today, though, I launch SE Live and ther Multi Streaming tab is nowhere to be found?? How do I get it back? The only tabs on the bottom right are "Scene Transitions" and "Controls"

Hello, I recently updated both windows and SELive/OBS and now OBS cannot capture my audio other than my microphone

I do use Voicemeeter to seperate audio tracks, but none of the settings for it have changed since I updated OBS and Windows

I can use the "Application Audio Capture" and it works fine, but setting the default audio devices within OBSs' settings does not work.

Any ideas at all as to why its doing this?

Delete the chat box from the overlay. Save the overlay. Log out of the website. Log back in. Add the chat box to the overlay. Save the overlay. Delete the overlay from OBS and re-add it.

Hi, I'm the guy who created that page.
This is SE limitation, my application just try to install the overlay on the logged account. The "Uh-oh... Overlay does not exist" comes internally from SE side. I've just tried to install on Youtube and saw the error.

Having the same issue currently where all alerts work except for the Tier 1 and Prime alert. On the website it seems to have trouble emulating the alert sometimes too...

is this maybe a Twitch API thing? Or on Streamelements side? Did you get this fixed?

I did not get this fixed, let me know if you find a solid answer, I’ve just had to carry on without alerts. It’s weird, chat works fine so it IS connecting to Twitch. My guess is it’s something with the emotes. I wish there was a clearer system for determining what exactly triggers the alerts

I’ve seen several streamers (kaicenat, stableronaldo and more) who have a !setgoal or !subgoal command that automatically updates the goal number shown on their sub goal widget.

Right now, I’m using a label that shows the current sub count like {count}, and then I’ve manually added /250 for my goal. But I’ve noticed that some streamers can change that goal live — for example, if a mod types !setgoal 300, the widget updates from /250 to /300 automatically.

I’ve looked into the streamers commands and they are using something like ${count subgoal ${1}}, so I’m guessing that’s part of it.

Could anyone please explain how I can set this up, so that my mods can change the sub goal number (e.g. 250 → 300) without me having to edit it manually in the overlay editor (like this !setgoal 300) Thanks a lot!

I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times to try and fix issues with SELive. I've had the transitions locked and unable to modify on two of my scenes, I've had the transition double play, I've had OBS crash, and even when I close obs correctly every time I open it gives me the error it wasnt closed correctly and to run in safe mode every time. I opened a ticket with regards to this. If you have more then 1 of the streamelements docks open this error occurs. If you close all but 1 restart OBS it will give you the error one last time then load normally from that point on. They are working in it

Trying to fix Se.Live, it seems like everything is bugged, all the docks come up black. All the SE docks are doubled. Uninstalled Se.live and reinstalled OBS then reinstalled Se.Live. How do I fix this?

my timers havent been working for some time now. i changed the intervals to 1 minute 1 line and it works. switched it back to a more suitable time/line and nothing. Can anyone please advise

I am multistreaming with youtube, youtube shorts, tiktok and twitch and they all are working except for twitch. Twitch chat works as if live but the video doesnt load. Has anyone had this issue?

Im getting started at streaming, and pretend to stream on "kick". I'd like to make a chat overlay but the "stream tools" button isn't appearing for me, can someone help?
