Also, I'll like to know if having OBS Setting: YouTube as my default means. Bitrate is being allocated to that, before going to any of the other platforms.
My internet upload speed roughly even out to about 27Mbps most times and it's pretty consistent but anytime I try to multistream I typically get very laggy stream. Sometimes on one of the platform sometimes on both.
For example, let's say I'm streaming at 7500Kbps to Kick and 8000Kbps to Youtube Shorts. One or both of the streams become laggy. From my understanding of things, I think the total bandwidth that would consume will be 15.5Mbps with enough headroom for what I'm playing but they just become really laggy.
From multiple tests, I noticed I may possibly be able to multistream in say "Apex Legends" but when I try out games like "The Finals" or "The Battlefield 6 Beta" the streams basically become a slideshow. My theory on that is because of the destructable environment in those games, maybe it takes up more bandwith or something I'm not sure but when I tested it out on PUBG I still had issues with laggy streams when testing out multistreaming.
When I initially set up SE.Live, I had this OBS settings up top which I see in some people setup but it's not also not present in some.
I left it there because I felt it kind of mean I don't necessarily have to go LIVE on the default platform if I just want to stream to another platform but if It turns out that it also eats up my bandwidth I'll like to look at my options and make some changes.
So, I'll REALLY, REALLY, like to know - Does "OBS Settings: YouTube" as the default Streaming Platform Take up more bandwidth even though technically I'm not streaming there. I don't even use the diffult stream key as I have stream keys I use for the Default and Shorts Canvas.
Thank you 🙂 to anyone that can help me with this.
