Hi! I’m using the /kappa/v2/points/:channel/:user endpoint to give loyalty points via a POST request. I’m using my JWT from the dashboard and getting a 404 for valid usernames that exist in my leaderboard. Is this endpoint still supported for personal use, or is there a restriction I’m missing?

Hi! Im currently developing a custom widget that shows the top 10 donators of all time. To get this data, I used the StreamElements API:

However, there's a problem. In order to use this API i need to provide a JWT token, but this token can change at any time, so the streamer has to manually replace it with a new one.

Is there a better way to automatically refresh this JWT token or something?

I also tried using widgetData (obj.session.data), but it doesn't contain any "top donator of all time" data.

I'm using OBS + streamlabs to stream live on twitch and YTshorts with vertical stream.
Now the plugin gives me the option to link vertical scenes to the regular scenes. So that if I switch between scenes it happens both for my regular stream and vertical stream.

But somehow when I try that and switch scenes, it get stuck flikkering and I can't switch anymore and need to restart.

Any idea's?

Hi, Does anyone have feedback on this :

I'm getting the Overloaded Encoded, despite using the Nvenc 264, P3 as quality preset for both Vertical and standard 16/9 canvas.

I'm using a RTX 4080S so I should be fine encoder wise, Specially this part in Task Manager, when I stream and play, i'm at max at 70% Encoder usage, which means it should not saturate.

My GPU Also doesn't saturate since it doesn't exceed 70% Overall usage.
CPU Doesn't saturate either, First core 8 have high usage but the other 8 are barely above 40/50%.

My gameplay displayed on my screen is fine, the preview in OBS is fine too, but the streams themselves have a lot of freezeing/buffering.

I'm using the Twitch BETA 1440P, I tried with 20000 Mbps, does the same with 40000.

Fun fact : the issue only happens on the main Canva (16/9) while Vertical (secondary canvas) used by both Tiktok and Youtube at the same time is perfectly fine.

I'm using a Mac and have followed all the setup instructions from official guides and YouTube tutorials. However, when I try to add a new Custom RTMP output in SE.Live (via the "Add Output" option), I'm unable to paste the Server URL or Stream Key – nothing happens when I try. Also, when I click on the buttons in that window (like "OK" or "Cancel"), they don't respond at all.

I’ve tried restarting SE.Live and OBS, and I’ve made sure everything is installed correctly. Still, the issue persists. Has anyone experienced this or found a fix?

Honestly it's just from the standpoint of having everything in a single program instead of multiple apps running because GC looks so much cleaner compared to OBS where my obs regardless of updates or changes shows the streamelements activity feed weird.

GC is intended to be a separate program from OBS.

Now certain features of GC can be added as custom docks in OBS without issue.

As a former Facebook Gaming Partner, I always used SE with Facebook, and everything worked great. Now I wanted to run Facebook as a vertical in the multistream again, but unfortunately, the SE alerts aren't working. Test alerts work perfectly, and everything is displayed in OBS. Only in the live stream do I hear a "ping" for follows, subscriptions, or stars. I suspect this is a Facebook issue, but at least the "ping" is getting through. Is Facebook still supported? Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Facebook was dropped a good while ago so any overlays won't work in any remote fashion.

Streaming on the otherhand has an issue effecting obs that requires downgrade to the previous stable version.

Because I'm trying to code a new chat and style it, and in the middle of the process, sometimes, I tested reload the page to see why my "Fields" tab wasn't working and the button "Open Editor" simply stop doesn't work anymore, it name even disappears, like this:

The multi streaming plugin will always include the default connection from OBS. So if you use that one (it's listed at the top of the plugin) as twitch, the vod track should work. It looks like you have it set up right.

Hi, I can see that SE are trying to do work on Quotes. In the 'New' quotes page, they have a link to Learn more which is going to a broken link currently. Just a heads up.

I saw elsewhere in the documentation for the quotes command that it does now say you can change from the default mod/broadcaster setting for being able to add/remove; it says it's in Chatbot > Chat commands > Default Commands. However I've looked and I only see regular old 'quote' in there and permission levels there seems to be the generic use of the command (not the add/remove sub commands) unless I'm missing something

Hi, I have a question about the "media request" with streamelements, everything seems to be working properly but when the music plays through steams/recordings it buffers a lot and gets super high pitched. After pausing the song it will be normal for a few seconds then start again. (my cpu usage is fine and this will happen even if no game is running in the background, ive also adjusted the audio bitrate and stream bitrate and audio sync offset but nothing seems to help) If anyone can help please reach out! I am having a weird issue with my audio.

Before going live I set up my audio tracks so that music isn't on my VODs and also doesn't output to certain outputs in SE Multistream. However, as soon as I click the Start Streaming button my music output gets enabled on Track 2 automatically without me doing anything. So if I am unaware I get strikes on YT and FB.

Is there any way to force the options to save and not automatically switch on the music output on Track 2 when I click start streaming.

Not sure if this is a SE issue or OBS. I would assume OBS so I am unsure if anyone here can help

However, i also uploaded a custom video to go with my custom alert but that video doesn't play. if i dont do custom css and html, then the custom video plays but then i dont have my preferred alert text layout. any help?

Hello! Is anyone else experiencing this?

S.E. Live recently updated and started mimicking OBS transitions, right? Then OBS updated from version 31.0.4 to 31.1.0, and now to 31.1.1.

Ever since those updates, the plugin doesn’t seem to play well with OBS anymore. I’ve been noticing increasing lag during streams—the longer the stream runs, the worse it gets. Eventually, OBS becomes unresponsive and crashes.

Is there a hotfix or workaround for this?

Hi, I hope I'm posting in the right channel.
I am trying to multistream to Twitch, YT and Kick, Twitch and YT work perfect. However, Kick has issues if i go into the kick settings on SE and connect everything without Enabling the Overide option then my stream comes one for a second or two then goes black. If enable override i get no stream at all on Kick and have tried playing with the various options in this section. Anyone able to assist with optimizing the setting so i can set up a stable stream on all 3 platforms simultaneously?

OBS SE Live Plugin on MACOS does not show any docks.
Just installed the plugin on macos running latest OBS.
When i go to the Stream Elements menu, hover over SE.Live Docks nothing shows up.

I have tried submitting a bug via streamelements OBS Plugin.
Tried to restart Mac, OBS.

The plugin also does not authorize any of the providers on MacOS.

Made a new scene for vertical use, whatever source is 1st, its name changes back to 'Scene 1' and you cannot rename it or reposition other scenes
Linked scene, change delay is pretty long. If I change scenes, its about a 1-2 second delay

Hey everyone, I need some help with SE.Live and OBS.

Yesterday I was streaming simultaneously to Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok using SE.Live. Everything was working fine at first, but then suddenly the Twitch stream stopped and OBS showed a bitrate of 0.
Meanwhile, the YouTube and TikTok streams kept running normally.

The real issue was: I couldn’t stop the stream from OBS. Clicking “Stop Streaming” didn’t do anything. I had to force-close OBS to actually stop the streams. After reopening OBS, everything worked again and I could restart the Twitch stream.

Also, ever since I installed SE.Live, every time I open OBS it says it wasn’t closed properly and asks if I want to launch in safe mode — even when I shut it down normally.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any fix or tips would be appreciated!

Hey all. Is anyone having an issue with the commands + user variable? I'm using ${user} to Say something or Reply something to specific commands (lurk and hello).

If the user uses additional words after the command line (like "!hello everyone" instead of just "!hello"), the bot picks up the next words, and doesn't greet the person, but uses the next word of the sentence. It used to work fine, so I am not sure what changed...

I've solved (I think!) this by using (user username) instead of {user}

Best way is to replace ${user} with ${sender}.
${user} is more like an alias to ${1|sender}, which means it will display the first word after the command if available, or the sender's name if no argument is provided.

Updated to SE.Live 25.6.19.485 and now every time I launch OBS it shows the following error: (I uninstalled/reinstall SE.Live - same thing). Tried removing the 0 byte safe file for OBS, and it recreates it which points to something is up with the SELive update. Anyone else seeing this?

Hi all, I'm having ongoing difficulty running OBS on Mac using Stream Elements Multistream. OBS will connect to Twitch OK, but only partly connects to TikTok, in that OBS tells me I am connected, I can connect Tikfinity and TikTok chat, and I get a Discord notification that I've gone live ... but my live isn't actually being pushed through to TikTok. Other people can see a message saying I am waiting to go live, but I can't see that (on the TT app on my phone) and I can't watch/monitor the live as nothing appears on my TT phone app. I'm wondering if someone with expertise in TikTok streaming using OBS/Stream Elements on Mac might be able to help me please. Also, OBS never shuts down cleanly and I always have to Force Quit - not sure if that is a related issue. I worked it out. Multistream canvas settings needed to be set as Apple VT H 264 Hardware Encoder and between 4000-7000 bitrate depending on your processor capacity

It was changed because I'm certain that's why we're seeing "spam" errors from your ticket attempts yesterday and your name is the only viable reason why it would occur.

i belive its seperate thing than replay buffer, called backtrack for extra canvas, i have yet to find a way to keybind it, but you can manually click in the bottom right of canvas to save clip if backtrack enabled

I linked my Trovo.live account to StreamElements and now I can’t seem to unlink it.
When I try to remove the connection through the channel settings on StreamElements, I get an error.
If I disconnect it directly through Trovo, it unlinks successfully, but the channel still shows up in the StreamElements settings.

yeah Social Stream, it kind of needs all the original windows open to function so its a bit redundant but it works for me, i could show you what i mean on my next stream if you want. it works for me but yeah there is no perfect solution but this is the best i could find

I dont think you can, and I would not use them to build your scenes as it WILL randomly delete them one day it has done that to me several times, My suggestion would be to create Vertical scenes on and OBS canvas and then just import those scenes into the vertical scene that way when SE deletes them you can easily just paste them back in

The only direct support for that to my knowledge is to have that someone grant you moderator access to their SE account so you can duplicate the overlay, copying it into their account.

I would suggest using OBS built in scene switcher and do not use the Vertical Canvas to build the Vertical scenes. Make them in OBS instead. Also you may need to name each of the vertical scenes with very unique names as the vertical canvases get confused. Its the plugin. Buggy is putting it nicely. But with enough knowledge it can be done. Its a loaded question and i hope I explained it well enough. I could show you on my next stream if you like.

HI all, I'm really hoping someone here can help as I have tried everything I could find from knowledgebases and youtube videos on the matter.

I'm attempting to setup alerts with Streamelements through OBS. Even when I just attempt to use the default alerts within streamelements it will not emulate within SE. It sends the request to se.live but no event happens within the overlay editor. This of course means that when I push the alert to OBS nothing happens either.

I've attempted the following fixes. I've double checked that the Alerts are the top source within OBS. I have made sure that the resolution is the same 1920x1080 in OBS and the overlay editor. I have tried turning off and on hardware acceleration within OBS settings. I'm using Chrome as the browser and even with all these things I can not even get an emulate within the overlay editor to work. Any suggestions? I'm truly out of ideas.

I should also add that the Alerts source is browser and I have made sure the URL is correct. But the fact that the alert is not firing even within the SE overlay editor is what is confusing me.

Ground Controle can show us the multichat box with Kick/Twitch/Youtube chats connected. I am trying to show this box on the live screen, but there is no access for a URL browser link for that.

Is that any way to do that on SE? I have found many programs that do that, but I want to keep using SE. The Ground Control multichat is already a good feature, I just want to have a way to use it as URL Browser on the OBS to show the chat on my live screen

Nope, Ground Control panels aren't detachable and they don't work like windows or have a dedicated URL.
What you could do is create a window capture source on OBS for Ground Control and crop it using ALT key while dragging the edges of the source.

Just put any text while you are configuring it. When it is setup, remove the text and done. The name will appear when you have your subscriber

2 - Set it up (positioning where you want, changing the font, color, size, weight, etc)
3 - After everything is setup the way you want, remove the "Latest Subscriber" text

It won't appear any name because you don't have a subscriber. When you have a new subscriber, their name will appear in the widget.

Or you can click on Emulate > Subscriber event > 1 to show a temporary name

I have changed nothing at my settings and normaly i just create a new gameplay source and the audiosource adjust to fit the screensize and thats all. is there anything to know about specialy torchlight infinite or do i have to change anything in my settings ? Correct, they still can revoke access when streaming from another application, it's on TikToks side, we can't do anything about it
