That would probably be something you'd have to poke around in the el gato side of things. I think 3rd parties will make add ons like that but it'll be a lot harder to find that info here.

@dire lark I was asking this yesterday as I have stream deck which launches my stream setting titles and everything. When I installed se live I could still use it to launch my streams but no youtube. Apparently if you want youtube to stream as well you have to go through obs and complete the dialog box that pops up if you want youtube to work.

My issue is that It only ever shows up the youtube dialogue wheb i click start streaming, regardless of what I put in server settings (or even after i create a new profile and config a twitch stream)

Currently updating my os to see if it'll work (the normal obs seems.to do it fine, but crashes when I load a browser source)

@dire lark It won't bring up the dialog if you use the standard start steaming button. Then it just uses what ever OBS is set for unless your default is youtube. Apparently its an API thing

Hey y'all I've been having nothing but issues with Multistream since I update.

i can only get tiktok to even stream if I have it set to the primary source.
And if set to primary source, i cant choose the vertical canvas, or change the resolution in the broadcast settings, so it will ONLY stream horizontal.
Aitum doesnt work anymore since the update, so i rebuilt my vertical overlays on a vertical canvas for Tiktok, but i cant use vertical canvas as a virtual camera anymore?

it is normal as it is meant for streaming to horizontal and vertical streams at the same time to YT. If you only use horizontal then you only need to have one started

yes they are both horizontal because you haven't changed one of the output's setting to use a vertical canvas. If you wanted to stream on Youtube with both a horizontal and vertical output you need to set one of the Yotube outputs on the SE multistream section to use a vertical canvas

It is a windows setting that actually stops the animations from working. I have not pinpointed which one but there's a windows setting that disables animations in / out... Super weird 🤷‍♂️

I have an issue with my vertical canvas. I can stream to Twitch and YT horizontal fine. Both my vertical streams for YT and TikTok do not transmit footage. Tiktok claims that I am live, but when you check the app as a viewer it shows nothing of the channel being live. If I change the canvas to default, all footage transmits fine to both sites.

I'll tell you how I fixed it and changed my account to another one. First, log out of SE. Second, make another browser your default, where there is another account (for example, I had Mozilla Fox at first, but I changed it to Chrome). And that's it. I tried to log in again and everything seemed to work.

So i was originally streaming on YouTube Shorts and Regular YouTube but all of the sudden I am only able to stream using only using one of them. When I do try and stream on YouTube and YouTube Shorts only one of them is LIVE and the other is stuck at Scheduled Stream. I am using OBS Stream Elements Multi-Streaming Program and for some reason now I am unable to Stream YouTube Vertical AND YouTube Default.

This is what its doing... Whenever I go LIVE on YouTube Shorts & YouTube - Only one of the streams go LIVE and the other is set to scheduled

Hi all, I recently started multistreaming to Twitch and Tiktok using the SE Live plugin. I have chat docks for both Twitch and TikTok. Twitch chat works 100%. In TikTok chat dock I can see everything from TikTok, I can send a message, but the messages I send doesn't go through to TikTok. Viewing on an alt account during stream and I can see my messages never make it into the comments on stream. Is this a known issue? Not supported yet maybe?

I'm trying to setup a simple trigger that activates with keywords in the stream title, or Stream Category.
I cannot get the conditions to work when the conditions are set. Either category or stream title are not working at all. If I remove the conditions the trigger starts working so the timer is working fine, must be a problem with the conditions.

We have tried to disconnect the bot from chat, and add it again. I disabled all of the other triggers too.

Could someone please help me whenever I make my youtube and tiktok live. I set my youtube as my primary to make my tiktok have a vertical output. But whenever I do that my youtube does not go live, however if I place my tiktok as my primary it automatically gets set as the default output which is a bigger size and although youtube and tiktok works, tiktok is a full screen instead of vertical.

THE ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED

I made a few custom commands and they all worked fine, but now the entire section for making "alternate triggers" (idk, how this section was called) for the commands was removed. This wouldn't be an issue, but the section for "Command Aliases" is still there and it now works exactly the way the triggers worked (yk, you can put the word anywhere and it triggers the command)

For example: My command was !hug and I added the alias hugging. The last weeks everything worked normally. So for example:

1. !hug example_user and it triggered as expected
2. !hugging example_user and it triggered as expected
3. I'm hugging you! and it didn't trigger as expected

But **now **where the trigger section is removed and the "aliases section" behaves like the "trigger section" (I call it that way, idk what its name was), it also triggers the third one which it isn't supposed to be. I mean, yes I can just remove my aliases and put the in the "regex section" below, something like ^!hugging\s, but this doesn't seem intentional to me. Or for multiple aliases I could just ^!(hugging|alias1|alias2|...)\s

Or is it only me who has this problem right now? Any feedback would be appreciated

Under Chatbot in Modules in Chat Alerts in Followers, you can edit the messages. You can put {user} where the username is supposed to be when someone follows. The bot will replace {user} with the username when someone follows.

Hi I was hoping someone can help me, when I came back from vacation OBS asked me to resign to my twitch account which I did. But since then my over lays have not been working. It shows my latest follower from someone that followed me when I was in vaca but after that it doesnt update. Neither does my alerts when I get a new follower/sub. I'd like to create a StreamElements overlay that updates itself with a counter value that is stored in Streamer.bot (it is incremented with a channel redemption)... the overlay wouldn't have direct access to the Streamer.bot counter, so I think I need to create a StreamElements counter that the overlay can read... but I need some way to assign the value to it? An !editcounter stream command would work, but that adds extra noise to chat; is there a way to do it via API? I only see a way to get the value, not to put it.

Looks like a PUT command is supported for https://api.streamelements.com/kappa/v2/bot/{channel}/counters/{counter}, since the web interface for editing the counter uses that. It's just undocumented. It applies an increment with the 'count' value in the body (can be a positive or negative value), rather than a direct assignment.

Hi guys, I have a strange problem with the “emotesplosions” or selevt emotes.
When I select “select emotes”, only the Twitch global emotes are displayed. the BTTV and FFZ are not displayed. Although I have activated everything in my twitch chat. 7TV, BTTV and FFZ. also all the chrome extensions. In the Twitch chat I can also select all the emotes. But in the stream elements mask these are not displayed for me to select. The strange thing is, with my old account (now blocked by twitch) there was the selection “channel” and there were tons of emotes from me to choose from. Okay, this is such a specific issue im not sure if people would know the answer to this, but I'm planning on taking over a friend's stream and I wanted to use the streamelements multistream ability. They only gave me their stream key, so i have a couple of questions regarding that.

1. How would I input the stream link / key? The twitch website itself suggests using: rtmp:/ingest global-contribute live-video net/app/{stream_key}, but streamelements provides both a separate URL and Stream Key option.
2. Would twitch audio tracks still work the same way if using the rtmp method instead? eg. i have a dedicated twitch vod track to not have my music in vods

Hello I upgraded my capture card and now when I have the preview screen up and audio going through the desktop the audio is lagged by a half a second to a second. I've tried everything I can think of to get it synced. When I record or stream both are synced with the video and audio but the preview is still lagged.

SE.Live is unique in how it handles things. It's not like th eother plugins where you literally have to duplicate everything

YOU DO have the option to put other canvases on their OWN Tracks, but unless you have a specific need for that, theres' no need to imho

I'm having this issue with the multistream plugin. It's never happened before and it takes me to a browser tab to log in and link my SE with my Google account, which ends in an empty tab and this error on OBS

Try running OBS without any browser open. I was having a similar issue last month, I reinstalled both OBS and SE and still had the same issue, frame drops and excessive GPU usage by OBS, it would open with a warning saying OBS didn't close properly last time. I was told to switch Encoder Settings Preset from Quality to Speed, which solved the lag issue. Somehow, I tried running OBS without having any browser open and the "OBS didn't close properly" issue was GONE, as well as it taking forever to stop stream. Don't know how that was a fix, but it worked for me

I'm streaming to twitch and youtube. Sometimes se.live won't stream to the primary platform for some reason whether it's twitch or yt. Also will randomly crash and finally it crashed right when I was raiding out so I could try and let it generate a crash file, but I guess it didn't. This has been giving me problems for months now. So i haven't seen anything as far as plans, I know certain platforms chat apps are a pain for stuff like that. At least according to the devs for other apps that have this kind of functionality. Take a look at Casterlabs Caffeinated.

The issue with most of them tends to be api "call" limitations, platforms like YouTube only let's a certain amount of calls per day. The devs can purchase large quantities, but for the apps that are free, they would be coming out of their own pockets for that kind of stuff, so I understand why they wouldn't.

Hello, I have a problem with alerts in my obs. I have multiple scenes in obs like - in game/ chating / be right back ... when I streaming on one scene and any alert appear for example follower alert....alert work fine but when I switch to another scene...alert plays again...it is happening on each scene everytime when I switch scenes...It is not playing repeatedly but alert playing on each scene even when it was played before on previous scene. I have multiple overlays...On each overlay I have coppied same alertbox in streamelements..Can you help me? 🙂

I know that to parse JSON, when using the $(customapi) variable. I need to use another tool or custom integration. Unfortunately, I can't find an online JSON viewer that can parse the JSON quote I need and return it to me. Can I build a custom widget a do it that way? JSON parsing needs to be done server side where the request/reply is coming from as we don't support it atm.

Unfortunately, the server I am getting the quotes from is just providing raw JSON data. I guess my only option is to host my own server that pulls the data from that server, parses it, and then I can use the $(customapi) to pull the parsed data.

m experiencing a persistent login issue on StreamElements. Every time I try to log in with my YouTube (Google) or Twitch account, it redirects me back to the homepage as if I'm not logged in.

I've already tried the following steps:
– Cleared browser cache and cookies
– Used incognito mode
– Tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge)
– Tested with different accounts
– Confirmed security alerts in my Google account
– Disabled extensions and ad blockers
– Changed DNS and tried on mobile connection

Unfortunately, none of these worked. The login always loops back to the main page without accessing the dashboard.
