Hello! Can anyone help me with the media request feature for streamelements? Specifically the auto-play? Things can get added to the queue just fine, but the queue wont start unless I click the start button, and from there it will auto play just fine, but if the queue ends, it wont play any new requests unless I stop what Im doing again and go press the start button. Is there any way to just have it, auto play anything thats in the queue, without me having to start it each time the queue empties?

Does anyone know of a method to lock my mouse to one monitor on windows?

I’m trying to stream the FNAF franchise on a dual monitor setup, and I’d like to have OBS on my secondary monitor, with the game on my primary. However, the game doesn’t lock my mouse to the game window

I've been going live for years, but for some time now I've been a little frustrated with the Streamelements store system and I want to know if anyone knows of a solution to get around the S.E.'s inefficiency in checking presence in lives.
We know that if you watch live on Twitch you count as a viewer, if you watch more than 2 channels, the others are not counted as a viewer BUT for stream elements you can have 50 lives open, sometimes even with the video stopped which you already set up. loyalty points. Does anyone know if there is any way to make this fairer? Because people farm out your store without helping the channel in any way. Solutions? I even took the games out of the store so that bots don't rescue them, so I put a "talk to me" warning but I still often have 20 people farming on live and Twitch accuses 2 people, for example, in other words, just leave the chat open and S.E. already account. Even paused video counts. Is there a way to link the reality of those who are REALLY watching the live?

There is no solution, Twitch encourages people to lurk in channels. Twitch channel points and SE points both increase based on who is in the chat.

You could do giveaways, where people have to manually join, but that's the only way.

I have SE Live installed with OBS and the Media Request docked. Problem is…the thing always stops after one song and I have to keep starting it back manually, at which point it plays the same song again and I’ll have to skip to the next song (thank you Stream Deck), and then it stops after that again. The only workaround I’ve found is to have the Media Request page open in the browser (then the dock works perfectly) but that kind of defeats the purpose of having it docked in OBS, no? I even have what I thought was the continuous play setting set to On, but no dice. This has been an issue for me a long while actually. Whats even funnier is I have it open on a browser on a whole different computer 😂

GC is the watered down version.

It has a handful of the things SE.Live provides but not all.

If you need the activity feed along with the multi-chat but don't want to install SE.Live then Ground Control is your best bet.

For example, if it's a "family-friendly" game, and you mainly play violent games (COD, DBD) - certain advertisers may exclude those streamers due to concerns the overall stream content may not be brand-safe

Hi, my activity feed is blank (the dock from streamelements). I've tried restarting OBS multiple times, logging in and out to no avail. my twitch chat works just fine. Anyone have any ideas as to how I can fix that?

Hey everyone, I wanted to highlight this because it's caused me issues and it turns out via support that there is no existing fix for it. Maybe if there's more awareness of this problem, a fix will be prioritised.

Basically: There is no way to actually properly remove quotes from the quote plugin. If you use the '!quote remove' command, for example, '!quote remove 10', it will clear the entry for quote #10. But it will not actually delete that entry, just wipes it. If you had a quote #11 you might expect it to be bumped down and become quote #10 but this does not happen.

Why is this a problem? Because there's no way to edit quote entries if you want to use that slot again. So you will now permanently have a slot #10 that is useless and empty with no way of amending this fact.

At the very least an edit command would fix this but really I think the entry should be completely deleted and the quotes above it bumped down. Right now it's like every time you add a quote you add a drawer to a filing cabinet and put something in it, and if you remove a quote you empty that drawer but don't actually remove the drawer itself. It's not only prone to bugs but it's also a waste of space

The quotes have always been a PITA for a log time both for that along with having some sort of "listing" of the entire quote list.

It's not really recommended to use due to lack of options but this is a very much better alternative #dev-chat message

But I'm getting the CORS Policy error - Access to fetch at '(https-url)' from origin 'null' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. If an opaque response serves your needs, set the request's mode to 'no-cors' to fetch the resource with CORS disabled.

I'm not sure but maybe the response is being blocked by SE. Is there anything I could do to fix it.

I'm having issues in obs. I use xbox1, obs, stream elements, sound alerts, and stream to twitch but from my xbox. My gaming laptop can't see to handle the load when I stream obs and I'm sure it's encoder problems or settings because when I use obs to stream is lagged badly on live.. my problem is using the Xbox method none of my overlays, chats, alerts don't show in live. They show in obs and function properly but not live. Please help! I do have an external USB capture card which has no drivers. It seems to work just fine. Please help 42 year old small streamer trying to figure this out.

When your channel gets raided by another channel, the amount of viewers is informed. So, if your channel gets raided by a channel with 500 viewers, it will increase X seconds per each viewer in that raid.

I'm experiencing an issue with Streamelements not syncing follower activity from Twitch. This problem prevents the Follower Alert and Overlay from updating as they should. I've noticed that even the follower events on the Streamelements website aren't displaying anymore.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

Logging out and back in (on OBS and Website)
Resetting session data.

Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue.

I'm having an issue with sound on an overlay, I have the normal Raid, Follower, Cheer, Subs. All are working video and sound, but on my sub overlay, I have checked the box of control audio with OBS, and I'm not getting the audio box in the mixer that is active (the others did) and when triggered, I only get video/text but no sound. I’ve created a custom widget in StreamElements, focused on YouTube integration.

The widget displays names and images of my members in the following categories:
Newest Ultra: The most recent paid member on my channel.
Latest Superchat: The most recent superchat on my channel.
Most Superchats: The user who has sent the highest quantity of superchats this month (not the total value).
Biggest Superchat: The largest superchat this month.
Top Superchatter: The user who has donated the most total money through superchats this month.

I need help accurately fetching the data for each of these categories.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
I’ve read the events documentation (https://docs.streamelements.com/overlays/custom-widget-events#on-widget-load). However, the data doesn’t seem to be accurate. For instance, the data["superchat-latest"] event, which should trigger for superchats, also gets triggered for tip events.
Currently, I’m using the onWidgetLoad and onSessionUpdate events to fetch data. Is this the correct approach, or should I use an API instead?

For each category, I need the following data:
Name
Avatar
Amount (if applicable)

Any guidance on how to fetch accurate data for these categories would be greatly appreciated.

yes and about stream elements refusing to pay for events even though they qualify or like it tracked the first few but if i reached maxed level or a higher level they say :The game should be brand new—never installed before.
Use a new account.
Don’t change the file name.
Use the link/QR code as is (Ad Blockers might cause problems).
and if you provide screenshots proving its on the stream elements side they still refuse to pay.

Hello! I have a question regarding StreamElements. I use it for streaming on Twitch. But since i hit affiliate, my new followers won't show on stream. When i try to test it out with the amulate button in the alert overlay, it does work. But for some reason my StreamElements doesn't show the new follower activity feed when i look at the dashboard. I've tried logging in and out of StreamElements, reconnecting my Twitch to OBS but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know a solution for this?

Yeah, I just tested here, and it seems to be a bug with Indian Rupees because it is indeed not changing to INR symbol. Unfortunately, there is no way to fix it unless creating a custom widget for that. 😦

I want the media requests to be free, but it looks like you need to use the bot to do that? Hello! resurfacing this as it got buried. Does anyone have an issue with the preview window being locked at a large size, as opposed to before when you could shrink it to make other docks larger? Hello, I have a Store item that I'd like to be only triggered for subs, EXCEPT for a specific person.

For example, I made a pop-out called "Rose". If someone is a sub they can trigger it with !redeem rose. But if my friend Rosa is not subbed, I'd still like her to be able to trigger the !redeem rose item as the item was made for her.

Is there a way for this duality to happen with the Store and Custom Commands? I already use a custom command called !rose to trigger ${redeem rose} to make it easier for everyone.

ATM 3 LoL, Valorant, and TFT require you to downgrade to the previous stable version as Riot's Vanguard does not work with game capture ATM.

However this would be how you downgrade

• close obs
• press Win + R. In the window that appears, paste %PROGRAMDATA%/obs-studio-hook, press run
• in the folder that appears, delete the four files
• go to the obs release page, download the file named windows-installer (https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases/tag/30.2.3)
• run that installer to revert to obs 30.2.3
• don't update obs.
