Hello, we use the redeem and random pick command at once. normally, its !r + item_name, and sound effect is redeemed. but if we have different variants for same sound, and we want to play with one command one of the sounds randomly, it doesnt work with !r because there is no item named item_name1, item_name2, etc. it works only as !item_name (as you see on the picture). is there any way to trigger command with redeem and random pick option with !r + item_name?

If you're using the old editor and not elements it'll show you the supported filetypes when you choose the option to upload new files.

If you're attempting to use .wav then that would be why as it is no longer supported.

Greetings! I'm experiencing some trouble with SE and wondering if anyone has any advice.

My troubles seemed to start when there was an incident with a !filesay command. Without going into too much detail, I'll just say that the StreamElements account had to be temporarily banned. We unbanned it immediately afterwards. Ever since then, I have been getting big red alerts in the SE GUI telling me that the bot is banned. When I click the option to "UNBAN BOT", a new window appears briefly, and then disappears. Nothing else happens. Note that the StreamElements bot is NOT BANNED.

Since this happened, multiple default commands have stopped working. !songrequest, !songlist,!song, and !accountage are a view examples of commands which my SE bot will no longer respond to. It seems to just be specific commands. !wrongsong and !followage work fine. Also the backend for Media Request still works ok if I enter in songs manually from my account (or ask a moderator to do it)`. I've tried many combinations of parting/joining the bot, connecting/disconnecting my custom bot name account, modding/unmodding StreamElements/custom bot, but to no avail. I'm starting to wonder if there is a way to completely reset everything. I'm ok with losing everything and starting from scratch.

Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated!

In times of the old widget editor it was not possible to receive any data, that would lower the total amount of subscribers, a streamer has, during an active stream. For example, lets say a streamer loses 300 subs while live, because of subscribers didn't renew there subscription, then there was no way to show this lose of subs in any kind of alert/widget on a realtime base. I hope my request is not to confusing, as my english is not the best. So is there, todays, a way to get this live data shown up?

Hello! Having an issue where if I emulate my alerts, they work perfectly and the emulations show up on stream. But when someone actually follows/raids me on Twitch (I don't have affiliate so those are the only 2 alerts that would be applicable to me). Hi guys, i have a strange problem with my dashboard and activity updates.
I'm streaming from Youtube.
So the fact is that when somebody tries to subscribe to my channel, the dashboard/feed doesn't follow the right count of subs, it seems like nobody pressed the button, i tried other paths but they never worked...
I even tried to create a twitch acc with same email and then it suddenly started to work so the problem is for sure on YT...
What can i do?

Users can choose to make the channels that they subscribe to public or private. By default, all settings are set to private.

Private: When a user's subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

What would cause streamelements to not receive gift subs data (twitch). If I emulate a gift sub, it shows in the activity feed. If I get a gift sub, no show. Regular subs work. Filter is set to 0. "Subscribers" number doesn't increase either.

In OBS Studio you right-click the audio mixer and select "advanced audio properties". Then you find your browser source and click the drop-down on the right side.

I had this strange issue. I setup Media Share along with throwing it onto its own Audio Mixer, and the audio was pretty choppy/kept dropping and cutting out.

Currently listening to music via the Monitor and Output function while not streaming, and it sounds fine.

I've noticed that the activity feed entry for tips actually gets a timestamp of the time the SE tip page was opened, rather than the time the actual tip went through -- e.g. if I opend the tips page 20 minutes ago, and I actually do the button clicking now to pay the tip, the activity feed entry will show a timestamp of "20m", even though I just now submitted the tip.

Is this intentional? Can this be disabled? We sometimes do things where the order of donations is actually important, so this... is potentially a problem.

We thought it might have just been a fluke or something, but the viewer we noticed it with last week (and asked about this week) noted specifically when he opened the page today, and we know when it actually came through, and it's definitely showing the timestamp of when he opened the page, so not a one-time thing.

(we've noticed it in the past, too, on occasion, my curiosity just got the best of me this last time)

Though it definitely doesn't happen all the time, because I opened up the tips page like 20 minutes ago and sent a tip over just now and it has the right timestamp. So I'm not 100% certain what the trigger is.

While setting up Timer messages for a streamer I'm an editor for, I set keywords and categories for some of them since they aren't necessary for some categories he streams in and it's not practical to turn the timers off when in certain categories. But the keywords and categories are preventing the Timers from working at all. I've made sure they are on, but the Timers don't post at all, even in the chosen categories. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I can't unban, I've already clicked on the UNBAN BOT button, a Pop Up appears and closes by itself.
I've already used the /unban @streamelements command and it doesn't work.
However, @streamelments is moderating my stream and in the chatbox. But with commands used that I have through streamelments they have no effect.

Having an issue involving the Element widget overlays you can make through OBS. My static widgets for the recent follow/sub/cheer seem to work fine but the animated alerts don't seem to appear in my stream when trying to preview them. Had someone follow/unfollow me too and that didn't work either. Tried to make sure everything was good as well, the URL, the dimension, hardware acceleration, etc... I multistream on Youtube and Twitch and use Streamelements for my alerts and activities feed. With Twitch everything works perfectly but with Youtube I have huge problems.
My alerts do not work at all for Youtube live streams and I assume that I have integrated them correctly.
The other problem is that the activity feed on the Streamelements website is not updating. Youtube subscriptions are displayed but they are all older and not up to date. I think that my Streamelements does not connect properly with Youtube.

What have I already tried?

That Youtube does not synchronise with Streamelements:

• I have cancelled my account and completely reconnected and allowed access.
• Checked Youtube and Google privacy policies.
• Checked Youtube settings.

For my alerts problem in OBS:

• In OBS I have tried the sources hardware acceleration on and off
  and set my browser source size to 1920x1080.

Maybe someone can help me, would be incredibly grateful! 🙂

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.

i was able to fix this by setting the outline to left and then adding -70 in advanced but i cant do the same for secondary text for osme reason you cant put negatives there but you cna in mian text

Hello all. Is there a way to have alert sounds play without using desktop audio or controlling the browser source audio through OBS?

Having desktop audio would mean all audio sources would play through one channel, which is not optimal. Controlling the browser source audio through OBS has the audio come through crackling/popping. Neither option is optimal.

The only other way I could think of would be to have every viewer open a link to your overlay, but that gives them access to sensitive information.

media request - i have autoplay media ticked, so why does it not autoplay the media when request in chat?

it only autoplays the next video if i click stop showing on stream then show on stream (turning it off an on)

after this it will play media requests as long as there is one in the queue

but if the queue is empty, it wont automatically start playing what is requested until i repeat the above

It won't be integrated. You have two choices. You can use any or both of them.
If you want to have the widget from the Elements page on your OBS, just use the link from it. The same for the Overlays page.

You just have more options now to create your widget.

It depends on what widget you are using. Some of them have the option to use a custom font, others don't. But you don't upload the font to the widget, you just type the name of the font you have installed in your computer.

When you type the font name correctly, the text will change. Some of them need to be wrapped into double quotes, check the video

Well, I would check if the font name is correct with a default widget as I can have a quick check (sometimes we type it wrongly), like Labels > Subscriber > Latest > latest subscriber.
Once I'm sure I put the name correctly, I would change on the widget I'm working on
