My b just saw this, maybe they didn’t make it to where you can view it on portal site cause normally there’s a button to see it as a read-only type project where you can normally export their ruleblock set, and import it into your own project, sucks they don’t show the option, maybe see if you can look up the experience on the site and hopefully it lets you view the code there? If not I’d say give it time if you can’t find any vids showing a setup tutorial for it, someone will eventually make a tutorial for it

So far I haven’t found anything for bot coding which sucks cause it’s the only thing my custom conquest is missing. I would say try looking up 2042 portal bot setup to see if someone has a vid to guide you through as the rule editor is fairly similar although not exact. It’s gonna be a hard struggle till we get more community support from the more vetted portal users

It is not documented. You would have to test it yourself by comparing the progress you get from 1 bot and 1 player in verified.
They halved the xp to mastery 20 but also reduced the XP per bot.

The XP rates getting nerfed for bots has a trickle down effect.

Now we have bots back filling lobbies that don't even reward XP despite being an equal menace to the team as real players, I'm essentially getting punished for a bot being in a lobby because EA for some reason dialed back on the advertised feature of portal having full XP, as a side effect now AI everywhere give less XP per kill.

Wonder if any thirsty lawyers are tempted to press them for advertising it and securing sales only to remove it on a whim.

@sweet totem @orchid barn I hope this will find right people. Dear developers, you did awesome job with battlefield 6, its awesome. Destructions is great, and game mode is awesome aswell. There are few thing that need to be fixed alot. Helicopers are just not playable. Controls arent working very well, and the worst part of that, with right settings, you can have only 83 points for heli view which is very bad. We dont want see helicoper cross half of our screnn. no thank you. When we count this + the fact, we cant even see enemies on the ground, we dont really want play helis at all. This has to be fixed alot. Another point is gameplay as it is. Unfortunetally, enemies are very very very hard to see. They can be next to you and cant see them because game is situated to ONE color and everything match with that. So when you spawn or you run, or something enemy is same color as building. No thank you. I been playing battlefield for long time, and i can say, 2042 is much better with this at all ( im not saying its better game ) BF 6 is deffinitelly better game, but coloring in that game make it not playable. Next point is awesome amount of hacker using Cronos. When add this, GAME as it is is not playable.Sniping in game is just awfull, Assaults lost identity , and ladder cant save it. When you scaled them did you keep the changes dimensionally locked? You can't change one dimension and leave or break the scaling of the rest. XYZ have to be dynamically locked otherwise the function breaks entirely, from what I've heard

we had same issue in 2042 and they couldnt fix it there eighter so it just vont be fixed.

yes they will fix some of it. but once they push that update people will republish and find other ways around that fix to plug the servers again.
i love battlefield but i know for a fact this is simply not fixable in the long run.

and thats not all, the servers are hosted on a shard server that spins up and down on requests. well what happens when they see people using portal less and less because the capacity was never there to begin with? well they will then start shuting down more shards, so in the end it will all be a mess that dont work

Did you try exp farming? You can't do that anymore, it has been nerfed by 90%, you can't farm attachments and levels anymore, nobody does that. There are no active exp farming servers anymore, those with 0 players are inactive and you can't join them. Fun has been taken from casual players and many just left after that because everything was blamed on people who had fun with the game and it was not their fault in the first place. The quota exceeded error never had anything to do with the "bot farming" as they called it. Meanwhile it's normal players who want to host their own experience and have fun. Dice just lied to you that there will be one server per person that's why you still can't host your server despite imaginable farm servers that do not even exist.

Battlefield 6’s campaign left a lot to be desired. The modern trend of turning every campaign into a cinematic experience, with complex voice acting, dramatic character arcs, and movie-like storytelling. It feels like every game wants to be The Last of Us now, even if it doesn’t suit the genre.

So I would like to remember people of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat on Xbox 360 about their mission-based structure. If anyone is considering building something like this, especially in Godot, I think there’s a real opportunity here. Imagine a single-player FPS campaign structured around:

• Standalone missions with clear objectives (capture this, destroy that, defend this point).
• A simple but immersive story: no deep dramatic narratives, just soldiers in a war zone trying to survive and complete their tasks in the middle of a large-scale war.
• The ability to switch between different soldiers on your side during the battle, just like in Modern Combat. This mechanic added a lot of replayability and strategic depth without overcomplicating things.

I spawn both AI and vehicle (this is tedious since both are asynchronous, so when vehicle spawn, the script ask and wait for an AI to have spawned), the I force the AI in the vehicle, and in my case I set them the "defend area" behavior so that they move a little.
Ideally I would have them move pre determined path but the WaypointPath don't seems to work for now.

try to use the two other methods AILOSMoveToBehavior and AIValidatedMoveToBehavior maybe one is working better
and make sure that the coordinates are in world space, and just above the ground

Yes portal servers are at 30 hz/tick rate while the official ones arent. You'll notice the difference from an official server to a actual portal one right away.
