A few things an experienced: sniper glint is way to bright and big. Make it to where we can see the aiming character depending on distance. The menu navigation is pretty bad. Not sure how this can be fixed. Then in between matches it gets stuck at the title screen so a full reboot is needed. Other than that pretty damn solid.

So Ive put some time into the helicopters. I don’t actually think the AA (besides the stinger doing like 90 damage) is too strong in this game, there is just too much of it. There’s the obvious issue of double launchers on engineer making everyone have a stinger, but there is also the two CRAMS, I think like 4 stationary AA guns, and the aa tank. It’s just too much and I would rather have that AA power condensed into one threat instead of it being a thousand paper cuts situation. Have not died to AA yet (crashes and jets mostly) it just results in having to spend 90% of your time out of the map bounds since nowhere on the map is safe to stick around. I do suspect this will be less of an issue on the New York map because of buildings.

Also repair torch has no business healing the attack chopper that quick

Having fewer but stronger AA sources is more interesting because it gives you a noticeable threat that you can choose to avoid or take on instead of 20 tiny sources of damage coming from everywhere.

I wouldn't be surprised, to use secure boot, you need your drives to be set to GPT. So if someone turns on secure boot and has their drives using MBR, then it'll "brick" their PC.

I personally think it's a bad policy to require secure boot. Plenty of people that use PCs are tech illiterate and while double checking that your drives are GPT and then turning on the TPM is easy. Those are difficult tasks for the more tech illiterate. And if you have to convert from MBR to GPT you need to use a command line utility, where you may have to enter in a different value than their guide says.

I understand that this is the direction the gaming industry is probably moving. But I'd hate to be the first major game to implement this requirement. It's a lot of unnecessary risk.

As far as win 10 vs 11, yeah, 10 is losing support soon, but Microsoft now allows you to install 11 without a TPM. I just find it an odd requirement for people to have to go into their bios to play a game in 2025. A lot of people that have been running win 10 are not going to understand how to do all of this.

Honestly, I think many shooter game developers don’t realize that success often comes from having fewer game modes — ideally three to four at most — and focusing on refining them. This keeps the player base concentrated, the matchmaking healthy, and the gameplay experience consistent.

Battle royale games are a perfect example: they can stay alive for years because the goal is clear, players aren’t split into too many modes, and everyone stays in the same core experience. Too many modes spread players too thin, create “dead” lobbies, and ultimately shorten the game’s lifespan.

Features like Portal were unnecessary distractions — what the community really needed was the return of the server browser, which is far more important for keeping matches populated and communities engaged.

Honestly I like the change for the support class being the support class, I love laying down some suppressing fire (dice pls fix suppression in bf6) while throwing down supply kits and picking up dead teammates

it also fixes the biggest headache of BF3/4 in that the assault classes were liable to just bugger off and never drop health/ammo unless you were party'd up with them and could ask, or they actually paid attention to text chat

I like it as it is another move to discourage recons solely camping at the edges of the map/up on high structures, and it adds a dynamic element in that you need to sweep for gadgets when you clear out an enemy squad lest they drop in on you shortly afterwards

one thing I did note in the beta is particularly on liberation peak conquest, having a team full of recons is WAY more detrimental to your team's chances of winning than in previous games as recons are much more easily countered now

Adding commander mode back would give direction and reason for troops on ground, like TAKE A so you can get Air support, take C For my vehicles etc etc, the cmd can facilitate these orders to the squad leaders and so forth.
