Firing Range now live across all platforms.

A quick note about queues and Early Access / Open Beta.

Since this is Battlefield’s biggest Open Beta ever, we’re putting in the work to ensure that players have the best possible experience and servers remain stable.

To support this, we will use queues to protect the player experience but expect this impact to be minimal.

You may encounter this during high peak moments, such as the start of servers going live. The team is working constantly to reduce any queue that takes place.

Playlist Lock Issue

We're aware of an issue where some players can't matchmake after finishing a match due to playlists being unavailable. We recommend restarting your game client to resume matchmaking. Thanks for your patience while we work on a permanent solution.

Clarification on AI Soldiers within Open Beta.

AI Soldiers are only present on the "Training Grounds" playlists within the Open Beta. This week is "Breakthrough Initiation". Breakthrough Initiation is a playlist that allows you to experience Breakthrough alongside 15 other players, with additional AI Soldiers filling up the match thereafter.

Training Grounds playlists are here to introduce people to the core elements of Breakthrough, and offer a smoother experience than a full lobby.

Additionally, you can experience Breakthrough without AI Soldiers by playing Breakthrough from the "Featured" playlist row.

Training Grounds is only available for the first 15 ranks, at which point it will disappear from the front end.

Stuck on Loading Screen - Siege of Cairo (Conquest)

Our team has been investigating reports of an infinite loading screen sometimes occurring when matchmaking into Siege of Cairo while playing Conquest.

We've identified the cause and are performing server restarts to resolve this. These restarts will not affect players currently in-match.

The game servers for Open Beta Weekend 1 will now shut down.

You can still access the main menu, adjust your settings, and view your challenges until Open Beta Weekend 2 begins on Thursday, August 14 at 08:00 UTC.
