I didn't expect 1000% bug free, but the issues they are having at the moment are nothing compared to 2042 at this stage, remember trying to aim in a tank or AA, I don't have epilepsy but the flickering in the tank sight made me have a slight fit, 2042 was bad with a capital fuck off in the beta.

So - after an entire day of gaming and nearly completing all of the challenges:
BF6 is looking good. I wish I had a chance to play defense on some maps, but I always got offense.
The maps feel rather narrow, but that seems to be intentional. (maybe just beta?)
Gunplay feels great, and limited upgrades is nice.
Still wish we has local voip.

All in all - a very enjoyable beta day 1.

I think I encountered 2-3 bugs.
-a visual bug that covers the screen in artifacts temporarily.
-a bug that causes you to take damage on spawn for no apparent reason
-a bug that caused the tank I was driving to suddenly launch into the sky and explode from fall damage

These did not come up frequently enough to be bothered for a beta

Yes I did several times including the very first time. I thought it was loading the level slow. Fortunately, that was not the case and the whole thing (startup and levels) loads much faster than 2042. Hope the full release is same in that regard.

Ah, I had an issue with FPS would start good but then over time would just be unplayable. Rolling back drivers fixed it for me. Your issue seems different but give that a shot as well

Am I the only one who thinks that if I want to eat shit, I can just go play Call of Duty?
Why do I need a Battlefield that’s basically Call of Duty? Yeah, okay, this is the best the series has been since BF1, but it’s not exactly hard to make a game better than the pathetic BF5, 2042, and Hardline.
But why make a shitty Call of Duty? The helicopter is just disgusting - it feels almost exactly like in Warzone, it’s huge, and from third-person you can’t see a damn thing. The HUD is horribly designed, so from first-person you can’t see anything either. And it gets even funnier when a gunner hops in and you basically lose the ability to aim properly at all.

Yeah, the shooting is nice and the destruction is fun, but I’m really, really disappointed. Once again, it’s not what was promised. Once again, it’s bad, and now we’ll have to wait a year until they roll back all the idiotic decisions and make it decent.

P.S. The mountain map is shit.

After finally fixing the fps tanking issue and being able to play a few good matches I do agree with some that the gunplay does feels a bit odd. Tanks/APCs are also pretty sluggish for my liking. I definitely think we should have server browsers as well, or if matchmaking only really has to be the only option at least have it so players in that session are carried over to the next match instead of getting completely different players all the time. Everything else looks and feels great so far

Is there any information about whether a bug fix is planned? Or is it all irrelevant again? Even though it's a beta, I think it's poorly programmed. It's simply not possible to test the beta because a different problem occurs every few seconds. And then you keep getting replies saying it's the PC's fault... yeah, right. Hello! I have two platforms — PS5 and PC. Both are connected to the same monitor. Everything plays fine on PS5, but on PC I’m constantly getting packet loss and high ping. you have to remember that bindings are built for the majority rather then specific things, alot of players change the binding to make it more comfortable, someone with a high dpi can probably fly the jet better then using space and ctrl for pitch

I was having that issue too and someone found a fix! Roll back your Nvidia drivers to the 577 version. Use DDU to uninstall it first and then a clean install of the 577 version. Should fix it

For anyone experiencing CPU bottleneck issues:
Struggled all night with it but managed to get it working, I don't know what exactly was the fix but I think it was a combination of everything:
Ensure you have the most recent graphics card drivers,
Update your BIOS,
Launch through EA not steam,
Turn ON EA in-game overlay (counter-intuitive but it works),
Set all settings to low/off,
Turn on future frame rendering,
Set a frame-rate limit (I have mine set at 60),
Play in Fullscreen, not borderless,
For Nvidia GPUs, open Nvidia control panel and ensure your game is using the GPU and not the integrated graphics card,
I also noticed in my HP assistant app there was a new Intel graphics driver so I downloaded that and installed,
Restart your computer,
Pray to the CPU gods and hopefully your issues are fixed,
For each step if you don't understand what it means, do a quick google Worked for me, cant promise it will work for you, but after all these steps I was finally able to play

I gotta check it out then. In any case do keep in mind that secure boot is to have the ability to catch cheaters more easily so they have less workarounds for them to use cheats undetected. So secure boot doesn't exactly mean you won't see any cheaters, it'll just means they'll be easier to catch and ban.

Summary after ten hours of playing:

• Pulling a soldier away while healing
• You have to stay longer at the ammo crate for a full reload
• Gameplay feels like a real Battlefield
• Conquest Closed Weapon is much better than normal Conquest – feels more like BF
• Destruction
• Sound
• Correct amount of ammo (don’t increase it, even if kids complain they don’t have enough like in previous Battlefields)

• Bring back the server list – when playing with more people (5–6), we have trouble getting on the same server
• Missing platoons (Clan tag) – even in Battlefield V we used this to join a gaming clan
• Again, server list – if I want to play one specific map, I can’t, because it depends on matchmaking
• Helicopters and planes have very low durability, so there’s no point in using them
• Couldn’t get UAV to move to another point from where I was standing… which defeats the purpose

My colleague Tomtes’ weapon disappeared from his hand and wouldn’t reappear
