Its on hardcore and only on orbital, infantry spawns on the other side of the map, and on orbital the us spawn is outside the playarea, whereas the russian spawn is not

Its a bad bug, but wouldnt call it gamebreaking as one side dies after 5 seconds, anf the other side will most likely die because all the enemy vehicles are coming up behind them

The mode will be gone after tomorrow(?) So they wont make a patch for it

The plus system completely contradicts this. There are no longer decisions to be made, no longer are there downsides, or anything of that kind

You have everything you could ever want. Acog, red dot, holo sight with a fast mag and an extended mag. You can have all that on one gun

So in summary, it ruins the points of attachment, additions to your weapon shouldn’t just be “make it better”

Yeah one of the core drivers was, before if im pushing for a cap point, and that cap point happens to be indoor, hmmm maybe i should change my scope, and add a silencer. But you had to redeploy, get killed, interrupt your gameplay.

Now you can just pop those bad boys in, and keep playing. So you adapt to the ebb-and-flow of the match. At least that was the intention. We also experimented with other stuff like ammo types 🙂

Definitely a big part of it for me, yes. A medic not having any long range scopes encourages close range combat, generally where you’ll be near other players, so it allows the player to easily make use of the classes role without feeling as if they need to go through a hassle to do it

It might not be just the attachments which lend to squad cohesion, though, but the gadgets. No matter how short a scope I put on an SMG as medic, I still cannot follow Mackay up to the top level of the container ship or zip over to a point like Sundance. Those gadgets put squad members fully out of reach for support activities and already stretch the squad over a much longer distance. The attachments available in the + interface imo help to balance that factor out so there's at least a slight chance that while I can't go rez Sundance I can still contribute to the engagement by popping a longer scope on.

no scoreboard
weapons feel unrefinded

It’s weird cause everything you could really want (weapons, vehicles, and attachments) is already unlockable in there. The XP cap is a tad annoying given earnings are already reduced but if they didn’t have it it would get abused
