But the thing with most maps from previous games was that they gave you the feel of combat and you being in an actual military conflict zone. The maps you landed on were already worn and broken and responded pretty well to the theme of the game and what players did on it.
2042 despite being in the middle of an apocalypse lands you in perfect prestine maps with absolutely nothing or very minimal damage to them, absoultely clashing with the theme and what players do is also very minimal

From my experience, it's caused by using underbarrel grenade launchers. Removing it from your gun prevents the bug
