I have the exact same problem and I'm in Greece too, unable to join any match (if I'm lucky just once every hour) instead my friends from Italy can join instantly without any problem, the only way for me to play is waiting from them to enter a match and then they invite me, otherwise if I join the party before start a matchmaking they'll be stuck in an empty server waiting for other players that never comes
