I think if we judge 2042 assuming all the bugs, glitches and network & performance issues will be fixed. It will still need a lot of work but the potential is there. Gunplay and movement is amongst the best in the franchise even if auto gunplay is a bit to ez and dmr and sniper gunplay in bfv was better. Comparing to its closest bf title which is bf4 in which the gunplay and movement took more skill and timing. I understand simplifying to attract more casual audiences but the vehicle gameplay was too simplified imo. Also UI and gameplay advanced options need to be improved... game has potential and I am hopeful.
