The fact that 2042 isn't getting the Anthem treatment, shows its gonna improve. It's the only BF game for the next 2 years. If you can wait a few years for the next game, you can wait a few months for content.

BF1s atmosphere, maps, operations mode cutscenes, pre game speeches and stuff that ultimately contributed to its theme is what I liked most. Mechanics wise the game is solid imo
