Probably 95% of my crashes have been due to EAC and graphics drivers. Once I got those ironed out I pretty much never get crashes anymore - played today without any issues too so can't say the patch made it worse.

Well firstly the game came out totally unfinished (in fairness to developers they’ve actually done a ton of work and made the game 10 times better than launch and a lot of games come out unfinished this day and age) which immediately made players be iffy about the game. Plus it came out with no scoreboard, which might not be a big deal for some, but I do expect a scoreboard in a fps game. Then there is still a few glitches that need to be fixed. And tbh I’m just getting a little sick of having no content. Like it came out in November and yet we’re waiting till at least March to get anything new.

This is going to sound silly, but I’d like to see the AI matches (EDIT: not even talking about portal here) give you AI squadmates when you don’t have human squadmates. I want to be able to die and not have to spawn all the way back at deployment or an objective when I’m not playing with humans. I prefer humans, but most of my friends have largely abandoned the game, and those who haven’t, play on Xbox Series X, and consider the Xbox One version unplayable due to input lag (I’m on Xbox One).

I also want to be able to make progress on weekly missions (and the battle pass, when it comes) within AI matches, because the player count on Xbox One simply isn’t high enough to reliably do it any other way. I quite literally could not complete the last weekly mission, because I couldn’t find a server on Xbox One that had enough population to actually launch the match. I had to go over to AI matches, but weekly mission progress doesn’t seem to track there, and even if it did, I can’t get squad revives without a squad to play with, so again, an AI squad becomes a necessity.

For that matter, it would be nice to see AI respond to commands like stop, need medic, need ammo, need a ride, etc.

That’s a deliberate choice. While I readily admit that having a predictable, repeatable spread pattern rewards those who take the time to memorize a weapon’s spread pattern, it also makes it far too easy for cheat programs to automatically counter that spread. It’s an anti-cheat measure, and I’m inclined to say it’s also more realistic.

"FPS" means first person shooter... its a first person shooter.

The mechanics are fairly sound (at least the ones your complaining about).

As I said, randomized bullet spread, EVEN in ADS, is common in games. BF2042 does do it more than normal, admittedly, but its still so easily manageable and will almost never cause you to die. As a person who plays Planetside 2, I can tell ya you aint ever seen random bullet spread in ADS before. (And planetside 2 is still fairly mild iirc)

The randomized spread doesn’t bother me at all. I’ve never paid that close attention, nor are my reflexes good enough to be able to actively counter a predictable pattern bullet for bullet.

I mean, some random misses annoy me, but they’ve tightened that up a lot since release, and it hasn’t bothered me since, I don’t think.
