My biggest complaints about the sound are:

• Every death sounds like it came out of no where. I never hear the sound of the gunfire that kills me. Just the bullets hitting me and insta-dead. Make for a very frustrating experience.
• The 2042 kill sound is way to cute. It sounds more like a smooch or a zit popping.
• Vehicle damage sound is waaaay to quiet in the mix, can barely hear it
• Vehicle kill sound is non existent. Killing a tank or plane in BFV was very satisfying because of the kill-sound

I'd rather have a client-side toggle that changes all the soldiers to generic US/RU uniforms and risk not being able to "read" a specialist's abilities, than risk having my eyes assaulted by the sight of Santa Boris and cowboy Mackay. That way players with bad taste can pay for their dumb skins and me and a bunch of "purists" can finally STFU. You know what the best part of the Source era of games was? Whenever someone had a LE WHACKY skin, they kept it to themselves because it was client side.

Yeah I like the concept of the client side toggle thing. I think it would also pacify the crowd that can’t stand the operators end of game quips if you could toggle those as well.
