it only seems to be great because in reality if you enter a match on the hourglass map for example it is a real sadness in terms of map design because until a while ago on this map there was a stadium for the two teams to compete for territory but recently the developers made the map and removed the main things that gave immersion to the game and now the flags are closer to each other because in my opinion it looks horrible, meanwhile if you run towards the buildings on that same map you realize that there is a huge space where the developers They could have added some way to make the match more dynamic

Something I’ve been seeing a lot in the community is very divisive takes on gameplay vs atmosphere like we can’t just get both. Why not have balanced rock paper scissors gameplay with the traditional mechanics, aspects and feel but also have nice visuals and a theme to go along with it? After all, I believe that’s what made early CoD and Battlefield what they were, it played to both sides. Battle of the bulge is a decent map with good cover, it's main issue was that it was always conquest assault, and most players didn't understand how to play conquest assault.

El Alamein issue is the base of its map. It's a pretty plain map with little playable structural areas. The best part of that map is it's TDM area.
