The only real benefit of locked weapons was to create a form of dynamic team structure that put the roles in the right places, but given how Freeform everything was and kind of still is in terms of roles I can see why it’s mostly pointless to bring it back

once it's behind you there isn't much you can do, that's just how dogfighting ends up. besides a split S or rolling scissors to avoid them getting an angle on you, it's mostly just down to trying to break LOS with cover and try to slip past them

gotta have lots of forethought and awareness when flying

don't get yourself in a position where they can get behind you in the first place

I just meant the wait time trying to get into a jet or other vehicle for that matter seems to be lower in 64p. they are open more frequently. personally, i just choose from whatever's available at the deployment, but if you want one bad, I think you just have to wait sometimes and do some mad cllicking. lol. sometimes I've wondered if one comes available easier if you are performing well, because it sometimes seems that way, but I've not seen any evidence or attempted to document it myself, and my suspicions are that this is just in my head, but I could be wrong. That's really a question for the developers.

As for your points about effect, I don't disagree. As for keeping the 128p conquest, I can only say please do. Just have both available. I would argue for even bigger ones as possible given their fidellity requirements. battlebit runs fine with 512 online, and of course frames are great because of the low fidelity. I'd love a 1024 player Battlefield. We all have plenty of ideas I"m sure though, and if its just 64p next go round, so be it. If it completely goes away, same. I've still got plenty of other games to play, this is just the best one that I know of.

I'm not worried about T1 for jets and helos. I would have needed to start that grind a long time ago. And just in general, it's simply been a fun way to taste a bit of everything, so to speak.

There's a lot they could do for destruction too, I really think that's battlefield's "thing" to begin with. Burst pipes, roads that collapse under certain weight conditions, not just destruction, flooding, rocks/storage containers being destructible. The bridge one would be cool for smaller vehicles to have routes of escape from tanks etc that could change early gameplay before they're destroyed

I love it overall as a veteran it captures their holistic reality of maneuver in combat in reality your hoofing those distances so I appreciate the realism I hope that the developers don't do what your asking it will just become call of duty at that point

2042's matchmaking sucks, an issue that is only excarcebated by the fact that they got rid of the server browser.

There could be servers running, but there's no way to queue into one that is full
