In CoD it's extremely overtuned. Also I'm cod where you shoot someone means very little in terms of TTK. While in battlefield hitting someone in the arm or leg can alter your TTK pretty substantially depending on the range you're shooting someone. Which is why mouse and keyboard will always have advantage over controller in battlefield. Because precision matters in battlefield way more than it matters in CoD.

Some kind of driver protection for a few seconds after leaving as long as you are performing one of those actions could alleviate some of that pain. But of course you'll have to be weary of griefers breaking it as well as people like corsair who seat switch intentionally
