As for the plus system I don't know how many are using it. I'm gonna guess and say 50% or more. As for your comment on specialists I think you are right with the just another soldier aspect, but I think the individual traits makes some sense and the individual gadgets are cool but they could be implemented differently within the classes. Like airborne assault or amphibious assault or cq assault, etc. would you like that?

One thing I did like in Titanfall is you had about 10 players, then a lot of soldier bots. It felt like a big war in each match, but with only a few notalbe players.

If BF want that huge epic element from 2042, I would make it a 64 player match (total) with another 64-100 bot soldiers. At least you could rack up some more points that way too.

i can remember topping scoreboards just killing bots in Attrition with 1 or 2 kills on players

2042 does fill slots with bots doesnt it, its not a bad idea to keep a server busy

I like big and epic battles, but I felt like in 2042 with the large maps, it got too concentrated in a few key areas with most players focusing there. I think having bot soldiers at a point you own would help.

Or make things tight again like BF1 operations. I love how you had two points to capture, and you moved the battlelines.

Yea I think the maps were just not designed well for that level of players. Always felt either I couldn't find anyone or I would die from every angle. But other then the maps Im sure things like levelution and destructability had to be sacrificed to facilitate that many active players on a server which to me really guts much of the battlefield experience.

ah, in 1942 you could set the team ratio too, so you could have a bot match with 1:2 Alied vs Axis and then join Allies and have tons of bots to shoot

128 players is a lot, but even so, the maps were too big and sprawled out. I played 2042 a few months ago, and saw they scaled down the maps a bit which helps, but it still isn't great. A few maps were design well where the 128 players worked, or scaled down to work well with less. Otherwise, a lot of empty space and too much time wasted going from point to point imo.

They updated the launch maps to make them smaller, or less points. Seoul has less points now, and Orbital took out a southern and western part of the map if I recall.

128 lost its appeal quickly to the general player base. It soon became bot filled until they took it out of the main lineup completely.

They aren't that effective against gamers with good targeting ability. I anticipate their landing and aim at that spot. Game over.

Yes, those movements turn off many people but they are skilled base movements which require lots of practice and that is another reason skill players love BF

On a different note: Mass Effect 1 thru 3 needs to be made into a movie and directed by Peter Jackson. Cause, he can tell a good story via film when others fall short.
